Great place for grocery shopping in Waukegan. The staff is friendly and the store is clean and well organized. This is what Aldis used to be. Great selection of grocery items both name and store brands. Easy to get in and out of when you are in a hurry. You cant beat their prices and quality. My only criticism is their slim selections of fresh produce.

Love Save-A-Lot I save a lot of money the shopping there and the food is always fresh and the employees are always friendly and helpful thanks Save-A-Lot keep up the good work you all deserve a raise

New store, very clean and organized! I love the pictures posted of the meat area, dairy, etc. Nice selection, and the days Ive gone here it was easy to find workers if you had a question.

I love this Save A Lot. They cater to the poor. Their prices are even lower than the Commissary. I also love their fruits and vegetables. This is the only place where they sell more Asian food.

My favorite cashier, had a bad day and gave me and my 3 year old some mean attitude. Things like that keep people away.

I like going here, the staff are so nice and helpful specially miles, he helps me with WIC related products (would be helpful if all WIC products has signs not just the soy milk). he seems like he’s always in a good mood and he likes his job. The store is not that big It’s easy to go around, it’s like Aldi’s my other favorite store.

Well we stopped st this grocery store. We dont have the same grocery cart set up in Phoenix and I didnt have change. The nicest lady stopped and with the most beautiful angelic smile offered to pay. The staff was so wonderful and the trail mix was such a bargain. Well be going back before we fly home. Thanks for the wonderful experience. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Great price on food

The store is always well prepared and well stocked and they have sanitizer for the carts and the masked mandate is enforced and I love the store nice and clean

Second time I attempt to do my Amazon locker return however this store is always closed before the time on the sign (10 pms ) on the second attempt I even saw a customer trying to shop and said he even took the bus .bad for business.

I had a very good shopping experience today at Save A Lot. The cashier was one of the most pleasant persons that I have spoken to in a long time. Thanks for being kind and making me feel important.

I was really surprised by this small store. The stores name actually lives up to its name. 10×s better than you would expect. Like great hamburger meat 2lb chub hamburger meat for 5$. Lets put it this way. We spend 40$ and got enough food to make breakfast lunch and dinner for a family of 3 for 5 days. It usually cost us about 90$ to 120$ at Jewel or Walmart.

Similar to Aldi, one has to pay for a grocery bag, and bag their own groceries. If you tip the workers, Ive seen them help those in wheelchairs,(or those on an oxygen machine) take groceries to their car. This store is nice, always clean, neat, & its spacious.

Wish there was still a Save-A-Lot in Kenosha.

Walmart is my place to shop, however this store is 2 miles down the road, and next to my Walgreens making it very convenient, but not for my months worth of food. Its very limited, and you have to pay for bags or bring your own. You will not find a wide variety of anything, but you can run in get a pizza, some pop, grab bananas, chips and its fairly cheap, but few items will be name brands. No real bakery, limited fruits and veggies, I cant see getting everything a family needs there. But I like any store like this or Aldi, who gives Walmart a run for their money, theres room for all stores in my opinion!
