Ive been shopping here almost 10 years. In the last 2 years Ive found the staff to be AMAZING! Theyre so helpful and caring. Its nice they recognize my 2 sons and myself. There are 2 employees in particular that deserve recognition- Ken and Bri. They make every visit welcoming. 10/10

Staff was very helpful here when it came to finding things. They have lots of items here, a lot of things you wouldnt expect. Also they do not have a restroom here or so they claim..

This is the BEST Dollar General store for miles around! I love the staff & store. The workers are HEROES! They worked through the whole CD 19 mess! Give em a raise!

Theyve got everything you need in this little store, its not one of the Giant dollar generals, but theyve got what you need in a pinch, and everyone in the store is friendly enough, I mean, after all its a dollar store.

I love going this location... Im always greeted with warm welcomes...Pedro is the best there hes always full of energy and makes you laugh Bree is always helpful and will assist you with whatever you need help with...Barb is definitely like a mother figure to me I always call her my mom... I love this dollar General definitely a family away from home..love them all!!!!!!

If you have a question about what a sale price is or where something is located in the store the staff is more than happy to assist. And did they with fantastic smiles. Love this store!

I went to the dollar general clearance event, and was told I couldn’t use manufacturer coupons..??? I looked online and everywhere in the policy and no where does it state that couldn’t use them. Also took a look at the clearance event signs and no where did it say that I wasn’t allowed too. Clearly some employees need to be updated on the store coupon policy’s.

A bit cluttered needs more organization

I don’t think certain employees are opening the store on shifts because I went the other day and it was closed early around 6 pm but the sign said it was open til later I drove up and all the lights were on but no one ever came to the door which was inconvenient because I wasted my gas and didn’t buy what I went for in the first place very dissatisfied

I found some real good deals in the store and they have a lot of great things to buy that are reasonable. Its not the dollar store but it is priceless on a lot of great things.

I will go to Dollar General before I go to Walmart because they do have name brand items that you can get cheap its been my favorite store for over 15 years I love all of them even though some of them need a little work but theyll be all right I suggest you try them.😉

This store has there act together! Best DG in the area to shop at! The store is always in order, stacked well, and the staff are very friendly and pleasant to deal with! Very unlike the other DG stores in the area.

Cashier staff were surprisingly welcoming, and friendly, but I couldnt get cash back because the cashier stated that both registers had just been opened, altho they were into the second shift.

Quick stop for odd and ends.. cheap prices..every daily need hereFro. Gallon milk to nails hammers ect.. open 9 to 9 pm

I was in the store on 8/29/16. I was purchasing some Pepsi/ Mt. Dew sodas (12pack cans). I had two regular Pepsi & 1 Mt. Dew volt. Well the cashier/ supervisor rang up my purchase & said that this flavor Mt. Dew wasnt on sale, wait the cashier asked me were these on sale? I told her yes its a sign back there that says Pepsi/Mt. Dew 3 for 10$. She said not the flavored Mt. Dew I said OK, Ill get the regular Mt. Dew. So I got the regular, she scan & says this not ringing up on sale I said its a sign back there. She goes & get the sign, sees that the sale was over & balls up the POSTED SALE SIGN & REFUSED to give me the POSTED (CLEARLY) SALE PRICE. I SAID COULD I SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. SHE STATED SHE WAS THE MANAGER & SHE COULDNT GIVE ME THE DRINKS @ THE POSTED SALE PRICE. SO I TOLD HER TO CANCEL THE WHOLE ORDER ALL TOGETHER & I LEFT THE STORE. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CUSTOMER ALWAYS ( I really was right) RIGHT. To me that was very poor customer service.

Typical Dollar store.. Some staff are fantastic while others have no clue...

The manager was discussing an ex employee in a very derohatory way with a customer. He was very loud with hos comments and hos response should have been more professional.

What can I say not to clean very disorganized but great for convenience and things are fairly inexpensive!

At this location now and it is 2pm. Lights in the store are on but the doors are locked. I just witnessed 10 additional customers try to get in as I sat in my car writing this review

They never answer the phone but when you go to the store you see the them doing nothing. Just standing there when the store is a mess.

I worked here for nearly a year and recently moved on but I continue to shop here. I loved my coworkers and I had the absolute Best manager ever. Everyone who works there has something to offer and is a good asset!! But too many times actually almost every day we would get terrible, entitled, disrespectful customers that would contribute to making our jobs harder. But aside from that… This store is probably the best Dollar General in Waukegan! I still get greeted when I shop and I’m able to have a good laugh and get what I need.
