Lake county movers moved my household goods (2 separate days). they were professional, efficient, and collaborative. We had to make some changes and decisions based on last minutes revisions and the teams were very flexible and accommodating. Both the “Moving out” team (Joe, Ricky, Alfonzo, Matt & Ryan) and the “Moving in” team (Ricky, Paul, Ryan, Matt, & Mike- see picture ) were all instrumental in a positive and low stress experience for me and my family. This is the second time I’ve worked with Lake county movers. I highly recommend them. Thank you also to Stephen and the office team for their work to coordinate and schedule the dates and to answer my numerous questions.

Damian and Zoe were the movers for my home on October 15th. They were extremely friendly, quick and took special care with my items. They also went above and beyond putting things together for me and doing whatever it took to get furniture in some really tight spaces. I couldn’t have had a better experience. Lake County Movers is a very professional, company with great staff. Ismael, Tristan, and Nolan were a phenomenal team that not only delivered the boxes and unpacked them with speed, but also were helpful in moving delivered items around the house, and even took our large recyclables that otherwise we would have needed to dispose of personally. They were efficient and neat, but also nice and very polite. Amazing team that provided outstanding results.

I moved today and Ricky, Ryan and Paul were fantastic. I had half of my house in storage and more at an apartment. They met me at my apartment at 8 am and finished loading the truck by 9 am! They had truck unloaded and beds put together before noon! So grateful for the professional job they did. This was the third move with Lake County Movers. I hope I dont have to move again, but if oil do, Ill be using their services again!!

Three Angels (packing helpers) arrived the day before the loading crew. They came to pack lamps, mirrors and large pictures but helped with all the odds and ends that still needed to be packed. These men were so kind and understanding and appreciated. The next day Joe returned with the loading crew and told me to just stay calm and everything was going to be fine. His reassurance gave me confidence and all did go well. There were four men on the loading crew till around noon when a crew who had finished their assignment showed up to assist. Now we had a crew of SEVEN. ALL SUPER HARD lWORKING POLITE GENTLEMEN. I’d like to mention all their names now and thank them again. They are Joe, Ricky, Paul, Ryan, Dave and Leonard (I’m missing one of their names) and of course our salesman Steve Gustafson who has been and continues to be extremely helpful, kind and conscientious. Chris and I think you all deserve a 10 star review!!!

Great company, great team. Mark offered a great rate for long term storage as we moved from out of state and house hunted. The transition into their storage facility went seamless. Mike, Nolan, and Zo delivered our belongings in great shape to our new home. They were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the process. Lake County Movers was terrific! We were looking for a brand name and someone we felt comfortable taking our belongings to Arizona. This is the one! Mark Paiser was thorough with his explanations, estimate, and suggestions. The men who packed some dishes were punctual, friendly and careful. The office staff was great to work with. Bekins Lake County Movers moved us eight months ago. Now that the dust has settled, I can confirm that they did a great job. Everything moved is in great shape. They were a pleasure to work with and made the move easy for me and my wife. We moved in three separate moves. First the basement, then the 1st floor, then the kitchen and second floor. Ismael was the lead for all three moves and was great. Ismael anticipates what you need and takes care of it. The rest of the team was top notch, also. Meguel, Efrain, Mike and Dave all did a great job.Our move was not easy. It included having the kitchen, dining room, and art work packed prior to the actual move days. Nothing fragile broke. Our move included disassembling and reassembling furniture. The crew figured it out. Even the complicated furniture. Based on what I witnessed, I allowed the crew to move my music gear. Not a scratch.Bekins Lake County Movers provided a level of service you would expect in the North Shore. I will use them again for my moving needs.

Theyre so amazing! My husband is in the military & was on duty the day the packers came. I just had a c-section and a newborn. The movers literally asked so many questions to make sure that the right things were packed and moved into storage. Theyre so fast too! They were funny and super respectful. They even helped me pack my car up for the move. I wish I could have them everywhere I go!

Navy family moving from the base with a ton of delicate furniture that was purchased overseas. John C, Joe A and Ismael M were beyond professional and personable. All of my things were treated with care as if they were the co-owners of the possessions. They moved efficiently and the final cost was actually less than my quote so I was able to keep a few extra dollars in my pocket. Thank you very much and I highly recommend!

Not good. They were supposed to be there at 8:30 am. They finally showed up around 12:30. Tore a hole in our lamp shade. Then proceeded across the street to talk to woman, on my dime.Not happy at all.

We used Mark and his team to mover our office to a new location. It could not have been smoother. Mark came to our office to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a complicated move: going from a home. Some items to an apartment (3rd floor), other items to another apartment and a final drop off at a donation site. Once from the trailer to the smaller truck and again into our home. They did this with smiles on their faces and kind words to us the whole time. Well done, Lake County Movers! The moving crew shows up on time and they are careful to protect furniture and items are delivered undamaged and the shipment arrives when they say it will be there. Friendly staff. OK prices but if the go over the estimated hours they charge you for it, under the quoted hours they want to charge you the quoted price. Seems a little unfair. Driver wanted to charge me from the time he arrived at work to get the truck ready. Really? I was overcharged at least 1.5 hours @ $244 hr. You also pay for their break time and lunch time. Kinda pointless to complain as I only got 1/2 hour credit. Watch out if you have them load your stuff into storage. I had to pay for one guy to literally stand around for 6 hours taking inventory. Ridiculous. When I complained I was told I would get a $100 credit (when I paid $65 hour for just this one guy) which never happened. Have found many damaged items already as many boxes were crushed. Lets see how the claim goes once I unpack everything.

I have hired Mark and his team with Lake County Movers multiple times. 5 moves for myself plus an office move. I am always impressed with the attention to detail. The movers always protect walls and flooring and my items are carefully placed in my new location. I also refer Mark to clients whom speak highly of the service and hardworking guys.

I cannot praise my movers enough! They went above and beyond at every step. I was downsizing and had hardly any time to get myself ready for the move. They were at my house packing me up every day, all day. On moving day, everything went off without a hitch. They were so patient with me, even as I changed my mind multiple times about where things should go. We used Lake County Movers to move my parents this week from Grayslake to Lindenhurst. That was a great decision on our part! The crew of John C, Izzy and Jimmy were extremely professional. They handled all of Mom and Dads belongings with special care. We asked them to move furniture around the new house a couple of times until we liked where it was, and the guys never complained. They made helpful suggestions and really made this move a positive experience for all of us. LCM will be the first moving company that I call for my next family move.

This company is a total scam. You think it’s a good company because it’s cheap, then when it’s time for you to get your items is when you run into major problems. They’ll tell you they never heard from you, you’re not on the schedule, or even better we’re leaving now it’s on you to get it when it’s convient for us (and that’s the manager talking). Don’t waste your time on this headache, go with someone who cares about its customers instead.

$350 to move a 500lb. gun safe 12 miles (25 minutes max) off a loading dock and up three single steps right into the room it is going. Way too expensive, dont waste your time waiting getting a quote from these guys.

I was told to find another truck a week prior to our closing. I was understandable upset after being told our 0800/0830 pickup would probably not happened until at least 10am, and possibly even later than that. We went from the first stop, to the second stop and I was told “this is how trucking works”. I told Mark to please stop speaking in circles, and reminded him I worked in logistics. That is when he told me that he didn’t like how I was speaking and to just find another truck.Such a blessing is disguise. We quickly used our resources and found another truck that was more than happy to help us move at the time and date we needed, and for more than $500 less. Not to mention, we also found 2 others that were also cheaper on a moments notice. So glad I called to confirm our pickup time for the 4th time, otherwise we would have been in horrible spot on our moving day.

Look at your paperwork carefully. They will write down damage on things that have none to screw the customer when they do damage it. Broke our daughters play house and dented my refridgerator all down the front. Took our couch apart..... which is not designed to come apart and now no longer reclines. Worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Find another company.

Any direct contact I had with Bekin to try to get issues resolved was useless. Their customer service is non existent. Lost a large part of my bed frame which made my bed/shelves and matching TV stand useless. Offered me 100.00. This will not even cover the cost of having the rest of the bed removed. The agent I dealt with, Vanessa, did not return calls or email or make any effort to work with me. Also, when my furniture, which was promised to be delivered within 3 weeks did not arrive for 5 weeks Bekin told me I did not qualify for compensation as my load weighed less then 2600 lbs. I think is discriminates against a single person. Mark suggested writing a letter to corporate I feel it would be a dead end street and a waste of my time especially after reading other customer comments on other websites. Lake County movers is the worst moving companies I have ever worked with. They held our property for over 10 day without delivering it. Once they gave me a day and time of delivery they were over two hours late and gave me no notice or apology for their lack of customer service. When I told him how rude they are treating me the man on the line kept on mocking me by saying I will make a note of it. Never use this company.

First time using professional movers, and now I am spoiled for life, will never be able to go back to diy!Before the move I dealt with Steve for quotes and dates, it was super easy. The day of the move Joe M and Damian were my movers. I was worried they would have trouble getting the furniture up the stairs but it was no issue. The only piece of furniture they took apart they put back together in no time.
