Americano was very good, and this is a cool little place. Some of the baked good are tasty, but not amazing. Also, they got my wife’s order wrong, but oh well! Still would come back!

Usually busy so plan ahead. Fantastic coffee drinks. Get the Rocket Fuel coffee. You wont be disappointed. Food and desserts were delicious. Head to the seating area in the back of the building if looking for a quieter experience.

Great breakfast and lunch. The bird and Italian veggie sandwiches were superb. The cranberry herbal tea goes very well with the bird. The side options are fruit chips or potato salad. Dont forget about dessert. The peanut butter bar is fabulous!

Awesome place! I am very particular about my coffee drinks - usually they are weak and way too sweet. Not here!!! I got the Cinnsational Revolver - it was fantastic! I will be back for it. Really cute shop; cozy, comfortable and very coffee-shopesque. Highly recommend!

Ohh I loved my experience here. The espresso was so smooth and delicious but does not even compare to how amazing the staff was. Im new to making home espresso and had a few questions, the barista was so friendly and went above and beyond to not only find us the best drink but she explained the bean picking process as well! The steaming cup will surely set you up for a great day!

So glad I finally stopped in! I pass this coffee shop all the time but always just end up going to Starbucks. I don’t think I’d ever chose Starbucks over this place ever again! The blackberry mocha iced coffee is amazing and the Cuban sandwich I had was seriously the best Cuban I’ve ever had. The slight hint of sweet maple in the pork took the sandwich to another level! Cinnamon rolls are huge and cheap and super good as well. They have a lot of unique flavor combinations in both coffee and sandwiches and the bakery selection is huge. I can’t wait to try some other offerings!

Stopped in for a coffee and brunch while on a walk with my wife. They were very fast and the food was great. Had the best cold brew Ive had in a while. There were also dairy substitute options for their coffees. Definitely going back.

I drive from the Falls to here because of how good it is. The coffee and food are always spot on 👌The Steaming Cup has a homey environment with local artists paintings and eclectic decor. If you get lucky you may come in on a day when there is soothing live music.

Quaint cafe with a nice variety of coffee options and breakfast type foods. The staff was very nice. Its a cute place decorated with amusing coffee related saying on signs. I noticed several people on laptops apparently doing homework, with quite a diverse mix of patrons. I liked it there.

Really cool ambience, great vibes. A cafe youd love to head to when youre in the mood to stay alone and bury yourself with a book and great coffee. Amazing breakfast options as well.

Nice little spot, can get busy, but theres always an open spot some place. Has outdoor seating and extra back room seating.

Starbucks has nothing on The Steaming Cup! The staff has been helpful in deciding what to order. The feel inside is welcoming and a spot you want to hang out at.

The Steaming Cup is located in the cute quaint town of Waukesha. The area is arts and crafty and the Steaming Cup is representing the area well. Located in the historic Knickell building which was renovated but the character remains as evidenced by beautiful tin ceilings. The owners took into the account our plugged in society by offering an abundance of plugs and USB charging stations. The coffee options are simple and uncomplicated and catered to you. They have 4 different daily brews along with monthly specials. They have breakfast that includes sandwiches oatmeal waffles and toast. They have a variety of sandwiches salads and soups. Steaming Cup specialties includes honey latte, Carmella and rocket fuel. Of course they have a display case full of sweets too. The Steaming Cup is the place to visit for a unique vibe.

The coffee was decent, but it was crowded during COVID which was a bit uncomfortable. The staff didnt appear very happy to be there. The bakery tasted a bit old but the flavors were great.

Housed in an old historic building in Downtown Waukesha The Steaming Cup is a quaint place for A beverage, bite and visit. A friend and I popped in shortly after 10 am on a Tuesday (It was not terribly busy), we were greeted immediately and took a few minutes to read the Menu Board. Settling on a Hot Chocolate, Latte and Apple Cinnamon Muffin we paid and headed to the rear of the restaurant for a seat. I returned, waited a couple minutes and had our order. Muffin was tasty, moist and ample to share, my Hot Chocolate a bit sweet but good, latte was very good. Interesting place to stop and decorated for Christmas. 🌲 Covid 2020 wear a mask when not eating or drinking.

Nice and cozy coffee shop where you can get sandwiches and pastries. This is my second time here. It is terrific. A great option to having to do Starbucks all the time. It is in a really cool downtown area of Waukesha that is very walkable and has lots of shops and restaurants.Coffee is great too. This is also a great place to do some work and pound out emails.

Honestly its the best coffee in Waukesha...no close second.Not a fan of being served in disposable cups but during covid I get it. The espresso was rich, smooth, with a nice crema. Other coffee beverages were also well done.They have a few house specialties that wont be on my list but they certainly have a flair and creativity and I love that.The only reason not 5 stars is because I need to try a few more of their drinks to hand that rating out. Reasonable chance it will get there.

I really look forward to driving out to Steaming Cup in Waukesha; bakery and coffee and atmosphere are great. First time ever, today I was not satisfied. Coming from a healthcare background and amidst Covid-19 precautionary behavior for everyone, it really miffed me to se a staff member with mask positioned below nose, running both hands through her her hair while near food, and didnt wash the hands before grabbing a cup and a lid to serve coffee to customer. I find that very disturbing. Wash your hands, girlfriend!

Went there for first time a week ago Sat. Small little coffee shop with eclectic atmosphere. Love the different styled salt/pepper shakers on each table, and the other decor around the room. The Live musician was good, and all the people were enjoying themselves. The Almond Mocha coffee I ordered was so good, I ordered a second. Nice little place that Id visit again if get back to that area.

Love this place so much! They had a seasonal lucky charms latte that was divine. Great place to get some work done, chill for a few hours, or meet with friends for a cup. Live music is fantastic as well.

A must visit spot in Waukesha. Excellant coffee, food, and magical hot chocolate.Along with board games and a great view of the city. And I bought a sweatshirt while I was there.

The location is so cute with lots of old style architecture in Waukesha. A great place to go any day of the week! Though busy on weekends, it is definitely worth it!

This is an amazing coffeehouse! The atmosphere was perfect for spending time with my family. There was music and decorations perfect for the holiday. There were plenty of places and even rooms to sit in. The coffee was amazing. My si had a mocha and he said normally it’s overly sweet at other places but was perfectly balanced here. The pastries were amazing I had the sticky bun warmed up which was perfect. We will be back and have already told others to go!

Great service, friendly workers and a very inviting atmosphere!I havent had any of the food here but I was tempted by the rice crispy treat in the glass case, theres always next time! 😋I had the nitro cold brew today, and oh my goodness.... Cold brew coffee is my newest obsession and this was AWESOME! Im overly caffeinated and immature so I feel sorry for everyone else who has to deal with me today 😂😂😂

Horrible service. Waited an hour for a sandwich and never got it. People who came in much later than me received their orders. I did get refunded but I wont be going back.

Very cozy place and great vibes. Coffee was good and the service was friendly. Bathrooms left a little to be desired as one was out of order and the other was not baby friendly. Would totally recommend and bring friends to in the future.

Great place to have coffee or variations there of, breakfast or sandwiches. A nice cozy feel with additional seating in a back room. Outside seating during spring, summer and fall.

Very nice atmosphere and decent prices. I recommend people to support local businesses, and that is what you’re doing when you go to a place like this. Love the floor-to-ceiling windows, but sometimes they lower the blinds if it’s sunny, but that’s a shame. Five stars still

Loud and fun up front. The picture of youth coffee. Yet, in the back, quiet and tranquil. Walking in to their back room was as if I was traveling back into a early 2000s Josh Hartnett movie. Late 90s library meets early 2000s New York hipster vibe. Enjoyable atmosphere with incredible food. Best part, there coffee will get you bouncing too. Energized for the rest of the day. Enjoy!

Great outdoor patio space. Delicious sourdough breakfast sammy! Pet friendly outside, and theres a back building space around the corner with more seating if the main store and patio are full. Well definitely be returning!

Steaming cup has the best coffee hands down was back for the first time since they closed kid at the front was really nice but my coffee didnt come how I asked no big deal coffee was steal amazing just missed the ice and creemer in both cups next time :)

Love this place. I go every morning and night for coffee. I even order soup for lunch. The girls a super nice and always greet you with a smile. The food is quality and made to order. I dig the weekend live music thank you so much for making my day special.

Im not from the area but I can only assume this is the best coffee shop in the area. I had a couple of their hot drinks and they were delicious! The employees are pleasant to interact with which is a big plus. I did not try any of their food so cant speak on that behalf though. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely love it here! The atmosphere is eccentric and full of life. Food is great and so are the employees! The only downfall for me is that I wish they had more options for those with allergies.

Warm and Cozy place... Been here many times since 2010. The food is great. I am not a huge fan of their coffee as I am a coffee snob. If they provided more of a selection of roasters and brew methods other than your old school drip brewing I would be over the top about this location. If the front room gets crowded they have a back room that is great for seating as well.

We really love this place. Our daughters love their hot chocolate made at a kid temperature. The bakery is shears delicious. The coffee is awesome. We love grabbing a few cups to go, walking along the river, hitting up the park and heading back.

Coffee and live music are good. Food is always been good except for tonight. We ordered the french dip sandwich and it looked good but was terrible. The beef was complete fat and gristle. The sandwich was a complete disappointment!! Other sandwiches we’ve had are awesome, just skip ordering this one..

The coffee is very good, the nitro cold brew is the best in the area. They have a lot of events in the front part of the cafe, which is typically rather busy. If youre looking for a quiet area try the back room. The food is primarily pastries.
