When you’re a company and your power goes out, 99% of the time employees will close the store and that’s the end of it. With half the city without power right now, Harbor freight included, they chose to open their store and allow the community to buy generators when so many of us need them. It was an outstanding thing to do and will not be forgotten by my family. The employees and staff were also extremely helpful and knowledgeable at helping us understand what we needed to do. Thank you harbor freight.

At times I feel like a kid in a toy store

Quick in and out trip, fine experience until we checked out with Sammie. She had an attitude the whole time and didn’t seem too pleased to be on register. If you work in a retail customer service job, at least make it seem like you enjoy being there.

Lots of great TOOLS, materials, equipment, machines, & many USEFUL items for performing MOST work, repairs, projects by lesser known brand names. Product quality seems to be improving compared to 5+ years ago when I had numerous pneumatic & battery-powered tools fail. The prices seem slightly more expensive than they used to be (compared to others stores & brands) even accounting for inflation. OVERALL, GREAT STORE & ALL should visit.

They had what I needed at a good price. I dont buy many tools but I do like to walk the aisles in case something extra catches my eye.

Not as good as when they issued 20% coupons as the new sales model does have sales on items but now they go on sale not at the time you need the tool!!!!! Think Harbor Freight......dont fix it if it is not broken. Your stores are much more empty of shoppers. Home Depot is now back strong on my shopping source for tools now that HF has ended coupons....

Called to make sure they had the tool I was looking for. They did and I told them I would be in to get it. When I got there they had it set aside for me as it was the only one left. Very nice service. Till is doing what I need it to.

I called ahead to make sure they had the jack i was looking for, and the guy offered to put it aside for me. When I got there I was quickly helped and he knew exactly what one I was there for. Great employee and great store. Everyone knows that this place has its certain tools to buy, and others to avoid.... But as far as a good store with great employees, I would recommend this one!

The Toyrus places for adults. I could move in here. They have everything to do a job and then some. I make jewelry and they have tools and equipment that I can use. I do home repair and they have everything I need tool wise here. I always come here first.

WOW!!! If youre into tools and general hardware, this is your place to shop!!! But, amazingly, its more than that! They even sell wheelchairs and blood pressure monitors! They also have a website, where you can order just about anything, including hearing aids (go figure)...and all at VERY reasonable (bordering on cheap) prices. The store is clean and well stocked with a helpful and friendly staff. Sign up on their website and you get crazy good coupons!

Went in for a pallet jack the website said Waukesha had in stock. Drive out of my way to come to this location because they had it. Grabbed the ticket on the display jack. There were three tickets available which would mean that they were in stock. The cashier promptly told me they were sold out, and gave me a bs explanation that I shouldnt believe the website, and the tickets are for reference. I get that the online may not always be accurate, but at least try to keep your own store tickets up to date. If there are 3 tickets, that means you have 3 in stock, no tickets, means none in stock....its not that difficult. Way to waste my time driving all the way out here.

Went in on 2/27 to get 2 solar ropes which I had a coupon for. Spent 7 minutes looking for, could not find item or a empty spot it would be. Went up front only employee around was cashier and had to wait 4 minutes to ask for help. He said he would help me in a couple. 7 minutes later he was still ringing up others. No one else was around. Emailed my concerns to corporate that day. They respond 3/1 that District manger would contact me be end of week. Didnt happen

Friendly staff and very good deals. The quality of the tools has steadily been getting better, and now you can easily find a solid power tool here, whatever your price range. Youll need the savings too, because it always seems like you find something you didnt plan on getting, but is too good a deal to pass up.

I called to check if an item was available and spoke to Seth. He immediately went to look and came back to the phone and said it was in stock. I told him I would come in that morning and pick it up and could he hold it for me. He said he would. He was very professional. Then when I picked it up Tony checked me out and was kind enough to tell me about their Inside Track Club for future discounts. He also told me if I enrolled that day I would receive a good discount on my item. He took the time to explain it to me. I was more than pleased to deal with the staff at the Waukesha store.

It was slightly busy checkout line wise, but they were fast & friendly. I was also looking for something in particular, couldnt find it but an employee that was out on the floor was very helpful with helping me find it. Place dont even carry spark plugs sockets. The male and female cashier did not had any knowledge about the tools I asked for or what aisle to look for tools.

Tools at a decent price

Arrived at 7:52 knowing precisely what I needed to buy. (Tie-downs for a piece of equipment I had just unexpectedly purchased via garage sale. Would normally have these in truck, it was a new truck titled that afternoon.) Sign on doors said closed at 8p, all lights were on, employees moving around wouldnt come to door while tapping firmly with metal Keychain. Those lazy employees cutting corners cost the company a lot of goodwill as I send at least 50 generator buyers their way each year via RV forums I run. Cheap products and apparently cheaper labor.

Was an awesome place but the last few months they been having one register open with 5+ people waiting in line and never calling for more cashiers

Excellent place to buy tools and related things. Their prices are mostly fairly priced, but if you use their coupons you can get pretty sweet deals. Some times they send coupons for free items.The staff is awesome. Very polite.The store is clean and organized.This store has saved me lots of money.

Harbor Freight is a good place to buy tools. It has a lot of great stuff...but it is not a hardware store. Youll have to get your nuts and bolts and nails elsewhere. But a diamond wood splitter for $9.99 - this is the place!

Im very happy theres finally one close to where I work. The people working here have been very helpful and very friendly every time I went. The only downside is they seem to be out of stock on things more than the other stores in the area. But being that its a relatively new location I cant hold that against them just yet.

You cant beat the product for the price. The store is well maintained and the employees are eager to help out. My only gripe is that I wish they had more locations, but if youre looking for tools that you can use for a the best price around then take the extra effort to shop here.

Great place to buy certain items. I have purchased a router (Chicago tools), as well as many smaller items such as hooks. I always year a coupon, they are free available in mailers, online, and in email programs. Staff is available to help find items if needed.

Although I could not find the magnetic socket holder I wanted, Jordan went out of his way to help me as best as he could. Great job!

I bought a generator that I never ended up using, and when I returned it there was a wonky thing with the system where it couldn’t get put back into my card, but the guys there were super helpful and it got worked out in a timely manner. It’s the things like that which will keep me coming back.

HFT is a good place to shop for tools and equipment you need to setup/run your home shop or your business. There are some good bargains for non members that are a steal. I was looking for shop vac accessories but they did not have any. Perhaps I will look it up online and see if they have any.. but I did get my multiple splitter plug for my wall sockets..

Inexpensive tools. Good for the do it yourselfers. Staff is generally very helpful and knowledgeable of their products. Sometimes inventory can be limited or out on more popular items.

Don’t buy anything! If you don’t buy their extended warranty you can’t return anything past 90 days. They don’t tell you that at the time of purchase though. I have a floor jack I purchased about 4 months ago and it stopped working after using it a few times. I couldn’t return or exchange it for a new one because I was past 90 days.Now I have a 40lb hunk of aluminum and steal to throw away. I won’t buy anything from this store again.

What a rip-off place and terrible costumer service! Purchased over $150 of products, tried to exange an air compressor for a bigger one, the West Allis store was the only one that had it available, they also would not give us the floor model, and on top of that they charged us an $8 restock fee. What a joke! Stick to The Home Depot folks!
