Literally the BEST cookies Ive ever had. And so affordable!! Its such a comfortable place to chill and drink a coffee as well. And its inside of a super cool historic haunted hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown Waxahachie. Shoutout to elmo who gave us a very warm welcome and was the nicest person ever. Beyond 5 stars!

One of my favorite places in town! The owners are the sweetest people. In one instance I called about snickerdoodles, I am 8 months pregnant and had a craving for them. He was out but not only offered to make me some, stayed past close to do so!! They are incredible!! I highly recommend, everything I have tried is delicious!!

Nestled in the corner of College and Main in downtown Waxahachie, this place is a definite favorite place to go for a delicious dessert. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. I personally had to restrain from ordering everything but everything is delicious. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A must go place when visiting downtown Waxahachie.

The Dessert Spot is a place with delicious food and fantastic character. The artwork gives the place a special touch. The Harris’ are a super sweet couple! Don’t worry it’s not all just about the looks, the food is amazing. Hands down the best sugar cookie, crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The cheesecake is rich and creamy. Also, the coffee is perfect. If you are in the mood for dessert this place definitely hits the spot.

My wife and I discovered this little slice of heaven after a family event. Everything was so delicious. The banana toffee cake is the stuff dreams are made of. Everything was so good we bought one of every cookie to take home and a couple of brownies. The owners were very welcoming and so kind. Wonderful experience we will be back.

Stopped in with my mother this afternoon for a slice of cheese cake and coffee. Was delicious. The owner is very nice and greeted us upon entering. This is a great location for dessert or coffee or both. It is right across the street from the historical Ellis County Courthouse. Will be going back to try some of the other selections.

Cute coffee & dessert shop on the square. The lemon cookie was devine! A sugar cookie with a hint of fresh lemon that was crisp around the outside but oh so soft in the inside. Good coffee too.

I love this spot! The owner was in the front and he is so friendly. Was really accommodating to the fact I was hard of hearing, and patient with my 7 year old. The cookie and brownie was SO SO GOOD. Easily a top tier for simple desserts. The coffee was also nice as well, I don’t normally taste coffee in Frappuccino’s (it’s H O T outside so I wanted iced!) but it was very well made. We will return, again and again! ❤️

The cutest little dessert shop in downtown Waxahachie. We ordered the cookie crumble sundae with a double chocolate cookie. It was delicious! Definitely stop if youre in the mood for a sweet treat!

Insanely delicious! I dont love sweets but these brownies and snickerdoodles are something ridiculous! My wife had the cheesecake and loved it, I shared a brownie and ice cream with my daughter and my older daughter had the snickerdoodles. Prices are great and the owners could not be nicer.

Perfect spot for a delicious treat! Everything we tried was so good (recess cookie, brownie, chocolate oatmeal cookie, lemon sugar cookie, plain sugar cookie and the double chocolate cookie). It was so good, went two days in a row because my sister and her husband needed something to take back to Chicago on the plane. 😉The owners could not be more charming! I’m sure we will be back before December when my sister comes to visit again, but it’s a MUST on our list when she does. ❤️🍪

Stopped in for some relief from the heat on a work break. We were greeted with the BEST smells and very friendly staff. Ordered the Espresso and Ice Cream brownie, it was so yummy! The brownie was the perfect amount of gooey in the middle. Didn’t try the cookies, but ordered some to take home. If we are ever in the area again, will definitely stop by!

The owners are super sweet. They have experienced a blessing of business and are running out of everything but whatever treat you choose you cant go wrong. The chocolate molten cake is delicious andthe cookies are perfect. I have not tried their coffees yet. This is a great addition to downtown! I will visit again, often.

The lemon cookie and the chocolate chip cookie.. was OMG worthy.. wow.. really, really good.. I also got a slice of chocolate cake and carrot cake.. I can only speak for the chocolate cake, I havent tasted the carrot cake yet but the chocolate cake was delicious and not too sweet or heavy.. I definitely recommend that you try them out! Friendly staff but the cookies and the brownie were doughy as though they werent fully cooked. May be a coincidence but I got sick after eating a couple bites of the brownie and a day later Im still nauseated and shaking.

Finally visited this place today with my husband. It’s always been empty when I go by so I was nervous to try it. We were charged $15 for a piece of refrigerated Italian Cream cake (cold, dried out and no flavor), a very large snickerdoodle cookie that was okay, a cup of coffee and a bottle of water. Very disappointing. We won’t be going back.

This is such an awesome place in the rogers hotel. A very sweet atmosphere and sweet delicious treats. The brownies are awesome and there is free wifi for guests. Try the chocholste chip reeces peices cookies. The host a new featured artist every month so check them out regularly.
