I mostly come here for dog food I cant find many other places. My daughter also loves watching the baby chicks! The store is always clean and they have a large selection of items. Ive never had to wait too long in line. Im sure itll get busier as the stores build up around it but right now its usually pretty dead.

Awesome, Gentleman at gun counter was very helpful and professional made my purchase quick and painless and unlike bigger stores they had what I wanted right then no waiting.

They dont run away when they see you headed their way. I really feel comfortable with the staff, and the product is usually ready to go.

I love going to Atwood’s for supplies for my pet cat and for work clothes. They have the cheapest blue jeans for work, Real Ranch jeans, 10 bucks! And I get a whole lot more bang for my buck when I buy my pet supplies there. And the people who work there are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The young man who helped us by a chainsaw was very attentive and knew his products. We appreciate the service. Everyone was very pleasant.

Love this store & the crew. I always feel welcome and never feel embarrassed when I need help lifting anything.Todays trip was special. I have a 5 mo old Catahoula puppy that everyone has watched grow since she was 4 wks old. I havent bought her in for almost 2 months but have kept everyone updated with pics. The other day I was asked to Please bring her in cause they all miss seeing her so today my Boston, my puppy & I went just to visit.

I love this place so much! Its like Tractor Supply Co, Ace Hardware, and Walmart had a baby. They have such a wide variety of items. You will definitely find something you need! I cant get out of there without spending $100, just because I find so many things I need.

Will never go back! Price toppers are misleading, clearance priced shirts I wanted rang up full price. They would not honor half price sign. Will go to Tractor Supply from now on.

I truly love going to Atwoods. No other store exactly like it! I drive from Cedar Hill to come here to pick up wood cooking pellets and lots of other goodies that I come across. Great pricing on the pellets, gardening supplies, snacks & most of the pet supplies. Plus, they have some nostalgic candies & sodas to finish your trip off with! Worth the trip, but be prepared to probably buy several things you didnt intend on getting because they will have lots of stuff that catches your eye!

DO NOT ALLOW RETURNS..We bought a still weed eater. Were not happy with the model we bought. Tried to switch it out and pay any difference but they would not help. Once its out the door thats it I had only used it for an hour at most. Still had original gas that they put in it. Still had the bags with manuals they came with and everything.Will be shopping at Keiths Ace Hardware for all my Stihl products going forward.

Atwoods is like a classic muscle car, its fun to look at, but you know you could never afford it.

Went to fill 2 empty 30lb propane tanks with OPD valves. Associate only filled 5 8 gal each.(11.6 total) I questioned the associate why he didnt fill all the way and let the OPD valve stop the pump and he still claimed they were full and he had more experience filling propane than me. I spoke with a manager who came out and instructed to fill the tanks. 15.6 gals was the total (see attached picture) They charged for 16 gal per store policy to round up to even number. There is no sign posted stating they only sell in gallon increments. Also the posted sign stated $2.99 gal...so I ended up paying $3.06 gal. based on the rounding up. Poor customer service and misleading pricing. I will not return.

Atwoods is like a giant tractor supply but better. The staff is extremely helpful and you can get anything you need for your farm, home, garden or animals.

Slightly understaffed. Got enthusiastic help from a person outside of his area.

Very nice store very well laid-out has a large number of products that you might not normally expect from what you would probably think is an ag store. The staff are extremely nice very helpful and everything that was on there Black Friday specials was well-stocked. I will absolutely be coming back here again for my shopping needs because everything that I need was here and its not crowded like say something like a major retailer.

Atwoods blows Tractor Supply and Northern Tool out of the water. The stores are easy to navigate and shop and their website has been uncanny when it comes to the accuracy of what products are in stock and what is available at another location. Another thing that separates them from their competition is they provide first class service to us, the customer, and they give military service members special service at the service desk. With Atwoods there is always a team member around to ask for help when you need it. Great job guys!

This place is a friendly shop that gives you that home feel. The staff is very firendly and willing to help. They have quite a big collection of items all in a one stop. From fencing to feed for your farm, this is a place with good old down to earth Texas charm.

Always a wonderful experience. On most items compared directly with Tractor Supply they are within a few cents cheaper. Sometimes they are a few cents higher. They have a large selection of dog and cat items as well as livestock items, ammo, boots and clothing. Nice helpful staff and if youre Ag exempt or military give this info at check out for applicable discounts.

Great store I love it love love love. But when they sell chicks. They have a few deds:( an sold me some chick who died bc they had a disease called coccidiosis. I dont think they know it bit still I am not sure they do 100% to give healthy chicks/ducks etc.i wosh they would b more knowledgeable n that department. Ill always go back to this store but thankfully I know quite a bit about chickens. I just hate hate hate losing them precious birdies 🐔 🐥

Went in today around 6. I went the gun counter and I guess the salesman was having a bad day. He never offered any help. I even asked him about a particular gun that was previously in stock. He said nope and never came to engage fegarding guns. It maybe worth going another few blocks to Academy

Went to get my Stihl blower repaired and was expecting to have to buy a new one. Not only was the Stihl tech, Brian, helpful, the bill to fix was very small and I avoided having to buy a new blower. Will be very happy to do business with them again.

Walmart). The staff is very courteous and always welcoming. The guys in the Gun & Ammo department are beyond helpful and professional. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes the guns they sell; and they will take care of you like your family!Best of all, they offer 10% off all items in the store that are not on sale. That alone covers the state tax of 8.25% and puts some change back in my pocket. My motto is Atwoods 4 Life. The fried corvina and hush puppies are the best that I have ever eaten. I cant wait to try their ceviche. Only made on special. Not on menu. I hope they have the ceviche without the cocktail sauce in it. 5 stars.
