My first bad and Worst experience of a car dealership. Very bad service department. They just want to make money from you. I had a problem with the water pump and I specifically told them. Instead of that they wanted to sell me water pump with whole timing chain cover and wanted to charge me $4600. They just refused to fix the water pump alone.I took it to another Maserati dealership and they did it for $1800. Also they charge $200/hr for labour while other Maserati dealerships charge about $125-150/hr. Horrible people.
I bought a Marserati Levante brand new about 1.5 years ago from Herb Chamber Maserati in Wayland, MA. today, the car makes certain noises when driving, it chuckles and felt pulled back. I called the dealership to bring my car in to be looked at. they told me that there is no loaner vehicle available for the next few weeks. I owned 3 Mercedes and never had this problem before. The service I received from Mercedes was impeccable. I was rushed off the phone and recommended that I bring my car to other Maserati for service. this is unacceptable from a luxury car dealership. I will never buy or recommend anyone to buy car from Herb Chamber ever again.
Came in last week to start browsing for my dream car and was lead around the showroom by Mason, really good experience he was very helpful and walked me through what the buying process would be like.
Worst lease vehicle return experience of my life.Of the 26 vehicles Ive owned or leased in my life, my leasing of a 2017 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 from this dealership was the worst vehicle return experience Ive ever had.It started when I dropped the car off and was asked to remove the license plate myself (even Honda/Chevy dealers would do that for me, though perhaps this was partly related to covid-19 restrictions).Fortunately I did get notice from Maserati (aka Chase) Capital within about a month that I didnt owe any lease return fees after examining the car.But then the joke of the century began as it literally took *11* months to get my excise tax abatement from Maserati/Chase Capital. It took about 3 months of 1/x month calls before they finally acknowledged the car had been resold so the abatement process could begin. From there it took about 3 months of me checking every 2 weeks about the status of them sending paperwork to my town tax assessor. It was like calling into a black hole. The people you can speak to at Maserati/Chase Capital didnt do the work and only used some ancient/slow system to communicate to back-end people supposedly doing the work (i.e. even they couldnt directly speak with those responsible). After months and dozens of calls where they claimed they had sent out request for abatement to town but town hadnt received it I asked them to tell me where it was sent; they got back that it had been sent *TO THE WRONG STATE!!!!*. I gave them the correct address and back into the black hole of waiting with no one on their side checking anything. I asked for escallation dozens of times. I contacted a lawyer (and considered class action suit as my abatement was small but their negligence was bordering on criminal 8 months after I should have had my abatement and no one there could ever tell me exactly what had been done with anything like a tracking number for confirmation). After a total of more than 40 calls to Maserati/Chase Capital, and 4 to my town tax collector (who always responded immediately), I finally found their request made it to our town tax collector who sent them a check the next day. EVEN THEN, it took 50 days and 3 phone calls before they finally acknowledged they had received the check from my town collector, and another 10 by the time I received my excise abatement check from them. It was an 11 month ordeal; they should owe me $75/month + interest payments on at least 10 months of that and they should have their credit score shot to hell for failure to pay if this world were remotely a fair one, but of course they carry on in complete incompetence because there is no accountability for them.I acknowledge my experience and review here is 80% about Maserati/Chase Capital and 15% Herb Chambers but thats what they get for leasing me an inferior car (the 2017 Ghibli SQ4 is fast and loud, and looks cool, but is a considerably worse car than my 2013 BMW 335i M-Sport in just about every way imaginable) and using the worlds worst financing company.
WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH. SHOULD BE 0 STARS. I bought my new Maserati Levante GTS on 3-16-2021, salesman that handle everything wasnt employed there when I called for pick up. I didnt pick the car up until 3-30-2021, they said it takes Bank of America 15 days for the check to clear. Funny because funds were out of my account in 2 days and cleared in 3. Picked up the car and was so excited but after driving it home notice that it went from the showroom right out for pick up not to detail. Window sticker residue still on windshield, caked on dirt all in wheel wells and underneath of car (it was dry and didnt go through any dirt on the way home), all plastic was still on all the carpets and inside badging, floor matts were in the trunk (drove home with the paper ones), sticky rubber residue on rear bumper, and white shipping hard to remove stickers on all 4 rims, front plate bracket wasnt in the car like they said it would be ( I did get it 35 day later), bad buffing swirls on rear of car. I just cleaned it myself and didnt complain. The car was parked in my garage after I cleaned it until I dropped it off to be wrapped and ceramic coated when I notice a dent in the top roof rail area. It looked like a shadow so I could see how it could be missed. I had pictures from the day after I bought it and when it was in the showroom which showed the dent so I reached out to the GM Giovanni Tosti and salesperson Mason Whiteman and let them know about the dent and other detail issues. They told me their detail department goes through these cars in and out so it wasnt delivered like that. The GM didnt even bother to get my name correct or his facts straight but he did let me know if I wanted to bring it by they would clean my windshield. I had the dent fixed by a real professional company that was able to get it completely out for $150.00. I will never service my vehicle or buy another vehicle from any of the Herb Chamber Dealerships and wouldnt recommend them to anyone I know. Hoping to do a review with Maserati to let them know what the Maserati buying experience was like. I have never written a negative review before but to spend all this money and get treated the way they treat people is disgraceful.

If there was a zero star I would give it. Ordered a car in Nov 2019 and was supposed to take delivery in March on a 2020 model. After being promised the car 3 months in a row, the dealer could not locate the ordered car. We selected a 2019 model to roll over the lease. After 4 months of chasing they finally paid off the lease, not all of it mind you. Had to get the Attorney Generals office involved to get them to respond and pay the full amount. We are sensitive to the current issue going on right now and expressed that to them. It was a constant battle to get them to respond and tell the truth. By far the worst car experience in 40 years of buying cars.
Made a service appointment in advance for 11am 10/21/2020. After a 12 min drive for only 6 miles off the highway. I arrive with no instructions as to where to bring the car there is no service garage gate. After calling I was told to come inside where no one met me at the door after calling again I was finally guided to the back where he took my key and moved my car to a lot. Arrived at 1053a for a 11a appointment I spent 30 mins waiting outside due to Covid 19 for what I was told would be an hour service total. Although even after 30 mins of walking around my car was still sitting outside. Why make an appointment, if there no need? When I was finally brought the service slip to sign off I refused and left. Waste of time, no consideration for time, and disregard for consumer impact based on current circumstances and misleading scheduling process. My request would be schedule appointments that are respected. Maintain service time estimates. And most importantly provide instructions to enable consumers to anticipate arrival expectations.

I had a fantastic time with the Boston team. From the time that I walked in through the door I was treated with nothing less of perfect respect from the whole team. Catherine was there to greet me and show me the beautiful rooms with all of the wonderful cars. We talked for some time about everything until I was introduced to Dominic and Leonard. Both were very accommodating and more than happy to talk cars and life. The experience of driving the Maserati GT Sport was exhilarating, hugging the corners and listening to the purr of the engine was amazing. Thank you for one of the best experiences of my life!

I emailed this dealership just to get information about a car so I could come back in a few months, I deal with Michael Wisnes via email and he was the best! He was very helpful and put together different choices so I was aware of it, all set and done instead of waiting a few months I was picking up my car the next day! Everything was very smooth and the service was top notch! I love the fact that I wasnt discriminated as it has happened to me before at a local Audi dealership. The sales staff seemed super friendly and the inventory was exceptional. When it came down to deal it seemed that the team was not eager to trade in another car. They didnt have enough information or understanding of my car to make an accurate initial assessment. When I challenged the assessment, the salesman countered to something that was in the ball park. It seemed that it was a tactic to try to get the trade for nothing. They were still not capable of offering fair market value for a trade. They didnt care either as they didnt invest any more time in the deal, when I was eager to make a deal. It is a complete shame that such an exquisite dealer would treat a customer this way.
I came by to check out the new Ghibli. The cars beauty was only further complemented by the service I received from the dealerships employees. Most notably, Joshua L was quick to greet me at the door, discuss the worlds finest hobby (cars), and then walk me through the dealers selection. Maserati has really hit it out of the park with current selection. Their cars are not only beautiful, but they are now also nimble and reliable as well. If you are at all in the market for a beautiful Italian exotic, it will be very much worth your time to visit with Joshua at Herb Chambers.

I was surprised by the friendliness of the staff, and their willingness to show you around the dealership and talk about the beautiful cars they have for sale.While I was there, one of the staff members offered to let a young boy and his father sit in a Lamborghini Aventador just for the fun of it. I can imagine that this was a memorable experience for the father and his son, and I thought it was great that the staff member was so gracious and welcoming even though they were not potential buyers.Overall, its a great place for car enthusiasts and individuals interested in buying top of the line automobiles.
I stopped by the dealer ship a few times last summer and was treated with the utmost respect. They opened up the cars and showed us the features, really made us feel at home. Things have changed in the past year.My friend and I were the only customers in the showroom and when I asked if they could open up one of the cars, the salesman snapped back saying Unless youre buying it, you cant sit in it!I understand that he did not have to open it up for us but it was a startling change from the customer service I got only a year ago. Unless you plan to buy that day, dont even bother going.

Not only did they follow-up after buying my Maserati but when I had an issue with my car they had a special towing company sent to my house that only deals with exotics, had my car ready in less than a day, and had it delivered back to my house which is 40 miles from the dealership. Visited dealer to test drive the Levante and get details on trade in of my RR lease. Everyone at the dealership was great, very friendly and service oriented, and the Levante is an amazing car to sit in and drive! Our salesperson, Joyce Zavolas, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the car and eager to provide all the information to help make the decision. She got info on multiple models and worked with finance to pull together a compelling deal. John in finance was also a pleasure to work with. Ultimately I decided to stick with a larger car but hated to not give the sale to Joyce. I will be back in a few years (or sooner) to look again.

Do not lease or sign with Ally financial, please read on line about their return leased car policy scam . 3 years ago I leased a car Maserati Ghibli from this dealership. At this time, it was a sales team who knew about the car and looked like they have been interested in customer satisfaction . In the next 3 years of this lease, all of this people disappeared and a service disappeared as well. At one time, they took my car for regular Maintance service and kept for it for a week without loner car to offer and I paid lease for a week without having a car. Every time when had to use the service there was some kind mistake. Once I came to look for a new Levante and sales person even did not know basics about a car . But worse came at the end of the lease. I had two other cars to drive, so I kept the Maserati,basically as an exotic car with very little use. I had more then 12000 miles unused. It was a car in a perfect condition. I got a letter from Maserati to do a pre inspection at the end of the lease, when I called the dealership they said its not necessary. In May, I went oversees and I asked my wife to return the car about 3 weeks before lease expired . She returned the car and has been told that everything fine, but the dealership didn’t return or cancel car plates for a month.Just accidentally I found out later that I still paying the insurance on returned vehicle and the plates never been returned. The worse came later, l received a letter from financing company claiming nonexisting excess wear and tear absolutely made up story for $1460.94. I completely deny these charges and would like to be reimbursed my security deposit and one month of the completely unnecessary charges for the insurance. Three weeks after the car was returned some kind of a so called third party without a client present made up a false assessment about exsess wear and it looks to me like an extortion. I actually liked a car and was thinking about leasing a Levante, but after that will never do.I have been leasing cars for many years and never had this kind of experience. Ally financing are complete crooks and dealership knows about them for sure, being in one bed with them they just helping them to screw you.Do not lease do not sign with Ally

I had an excellent experience at Maserati Wayland. My Service Advisor Joyce Zavolas was fantastic and very friendly. Always smiling and made my experience very rewarding, I felt both comfortable and not rushed. John and Jesse were both very helpful and patient and did not rush me to make a decison which took about 3 hours. I ending up leasing a beautiful 2017 Black Levante and could not be more than pleased with my decison. Joyce was very helpful in both the delivery and having the car preprogrammed for me upon pickup. She presented with a nice gift box that contained my spare key and also an additional charger for the car which I thought was very nice. The delivery itself was a very nice touch. Joyce took the time to go over all the details of the car so that I would not have to spend a lot of time reading the manual. She then followed up the next day to ask how things were, she definitely cares about the customers and wants to ensure that you are happy and satisfied with your purchase. I will continue to stay in contact and will use this dealership for my service needs and also when its time for a new car...most likely the Levante S!
Mr. Love at Herb Chambers beautiful show room full of gorgeous luxury Rollses and amazing Lamborghinis was very welcoming to my 14 year old and me. Its an annual holiday pilgrimage to the world of luxury and fine engineering on the part of my son who appreciates such things and plans one day to be able to afford one!Even I, his anti materialistic mother, cant help but be awed by the Lamborghini Adventador which is beautiful as a sculpture and the Rolls Royces which evoke memories of aristocratic England. We were lucky enough to see an Adventador driven on the lot and hear its amazing throaty rumble of engineering finesse.Last year my son was overawed by actually meeting Herb Chambers who charmingly agreed to an autograph before, to the delight of my boy, taking off in his beautiful helicopter which my son had photographed from every angle parked on the lot..Thank you for always welcoming us.
