I had to purchase cabin air filters and air filters for 3 different vehicles. I didn’t know I had to find them myself thought would be behind counter.I did have my glasses to read the book for the sizes needed and asked the young man behind register if he could help me.Not only did he look them up for me he came over and pulled them from the shelf for me. I was very impressed with his service. This will be my auto part store from now on. Great job thank you.

Ive always had good interaction with this store on rt 23 North Riverdale Nj.But the last time wasnt good at all.I bought a battery for my truck from this same store. Months go by and later on i started to suspect that the battery was giving me a few issues, Im a Building Contractor and my truck is an important asset to me.So i went back bought a few more things and asked the clerk if he could do a battery check for me.He said... no problem just wait outside, Ill be out in a few...Went to my truck and wait for at least 15 min, ended up leaving cause i couldnt be outside waiting, roasting on the sun.So i never got the battery checked.Thats the reason for this review, i have the rewards card.

I definitely recommend this place. The mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are really reasonable. They’ve diagnosed and repaired several of my vehicles and the service is always top notch.

Rude clueless staff. Older gentleman needed a battery but lost his mask. Instead of offering to help him curbside or give him a free 2cent mask. They sent him away.

They accepted my return no questions asked. Processed and looked for an item I badly needed for my car.

This is a relatively new AutoZone store. It seems well stocked and tidy. I came in here for an air filter, and found 3 or 4 variations to choose from. It is pretty small inside but has everything you could need.

Older gentleman really helped me out when I came in looking for a new battery. Not only did he not sell me something I didnt need, but he took my terminals off and cleaned everything. Tested my battery, told me it was fine and told me to have a good night. The car was a 2012 with an 84 month battery. He didnt even attempt to put a scare in me by telling me the battery was nearing the end of its life cycle.

The employees working their are polite and helpful. I have been there a few times and they are knowledgeable when answering any questions I have had.

This Autozone in Wayne was great! Dont bother even calling the one on Bloomfield ave tho. As soon as they answer, they say hold please. I hung up three times between yesterday and today after waiting for ten minutes for anyone to pick up my call.I also had great results with the one on Broad over near Brownstone in Paterson. Not that Clifton store tho.Wayne and Paterson are the good stores!

I was here with my pregnant friend from out of town and a guy named Mike (I think) went way above and beyond to get us out of a jam. He spent literally hours helping us. Saved the weekend.

I went here to have my alternator tested. I asked one employee at the counter that said I would be helped in a few minutes. I waited 20 minutes without being helped before I left. I went to Advanced Auto a half mile away and had my alternator testing without being ignored by their employees

Went here twice to buy headlights for two separate cars in my family. BOTH times they sold me the complete wrong light. Mike and Mike were a bit disorganized.. oil and filters that were on sale werent on shelves.. was almost overcharged $22 because we grabbed the wrong oil. Then the filter that had to go with the deal was behind counter, not on floor.. we had to do a return and caused a confusing time.. glad I was paying attention!!

Don’t ever go to this location. They made the dumbest error I could imagine and then the manager wouldn’t make it right after admitting the error. I put in a special order for parts to replace part of the rear suspension of my midsize SUV (upper control arms) and specifically said I need one for the passenger side and one for the drivers side. The employee took the order over the phone and ordered me two identical parts - both for the drivers side. I didn’t catch their error til I had the old part removed and tried to install the new part on the passenger side, then realizing I had been given two identical drivers side parts. I called the store and they admitted the error and the manager told me he would give me half off my order, which I assumed to be half off both parts - so the wrong part would be free. I had to put the old part back in my car so it would be operable and when the new part came in to the store I went to pick it up. They wouldn’t ship it to me and they couldn’t get it til the next day. All the work I did on the car was in 95 degree July heat, I will add. So when I picked up the new part the employee ringing me up told me that it is half off the one part, not the entire order. I told him what the manager had told me and he said that these mistakes happen all the time and people don’t normally get any kind of refund at all for this kind of error. I asked to call the manager, who wasn’t in at the time, and another employee said that the manager always turns his phone off when not at work so they couldn’t get in touch with him. I paid for my part and did get half off that part, but told them I won’t be coming back to this store. I wasted multiple hours of my time on their error and that is worth much more to me than a $40 refund. It is too bad because I have been coming to this location almost exclusively since I moved to NJ a couple years ago. It is one thing to make a mistake - it happens. Even though this was a truly dumb error! But at least make it right when it happens if you want to keep repeat customers. It either means the employees are not trained well or there aren’t systems in place to correct for this type of error when it apparently happens often enough.
