Color matched me for free, staff very attentive almost to the point of being annoying actually. In think every single person working tried to help me. I know they work for commissions but fine some space
I was in the store shopping for some gifts for my girlfriend. After getting help and ideas from some very kind employees working the floor, I went to go checkout with some perfume and lipgloss. While waiting in line, some commotion caught my attention. A worker by the name “Maria” was speaking very in politely and unprofessional to the younger girl working the register. Speaking loudly and arrogantly, this dissuaded me from wanting to purchase anything from this store. I’m not sure the position of this worker but her talking down on employees and getting loud and arrogant infront or customers is extremely disrespectful. 5 stars to the other employees who were very kind and had smiles on their faces.
One star due to the store manager Maria. This lady is so rude and disrespectful coming from someone who is supposed to be in customer service. I went to Sephora in willowbrook to pick up a few items I needed, and to make a return. One of the workers at the register (who was very nice and respectful) needed assistance from the manager. She then stepped in and made a comment to me that was so rude and spiteful. I don’t understand how this lady is able to keep her job at a place like this. She should be fired!!!! Never will come back to this store.
Went to pick up one item and came out with 6! Digna was amazing and I walked out feeling like I learned something new and different about how I should apply my concealer! She also gave suggestions about brands I would never have considered! Thank you for your help!
Not sure if it’s bc I’m minority but I came in a couple days ago just looking for a new perfume and foundation but kept being watched and followed around the store even though I said I don’t need help. I walked by the perfume and someone rushed to ask if I needed help but I kindly declined. I saw another woman looking at perfume and nobody was eyeballing her or asking her questions (you can guess what race she was). I felt very uncomfortable left and went to ulta and didn’t have anybody treating me like I was going to steal or watching me like I’m a criminal

This is shoutout for Maria. She helped me to know about my skin’s hydration condition. She was my associate at sephora willowbrook location. She did facial mask 30 min service and it was amazing. She had knowledge about the products and was polite. She helped me with multiple brands of skincare products and we successfully could narrow it down to what might best work on my skin. She also helped me with few samples.
Taylor was the BEST. My mom and I came to the store a week or two ago to try on Rihannas make-up, Taylor was professional, kind and prompt. She helped me match my skin tone with the appropriate make-up. Please give this girl a raise. Thank you, TAYLOR.

The supervisor/manager is a small short dark hair lady who is always judging me every time Im there..she has no humbleness and isn’t polite at all and never asks if I need help:(I always feel judged when I’m going to pay even though I’ve been shopping here for years because I do freelance makeup apart from my job.
My gf and I went here to get our new makeup and the salesperson gent was totally nice. Went shopping with us and helped pick out the right shade for our complexion. We will be back for all our makeup needs.
The selection of items was good but the staff was driving me crazy. I know its their job to ask me if I need any help but I told them no several times and they kept following me around the store. Literally following me. I felt pretty uncomfortable, left without buying anything. Three stars because Ive been here before and had better experiences in the past, but these days I feel like a criminal or something with the way they wont stop tailing me around the store.
Even with pandemic restrictions is still a cool place to come and shop. A bit strict but I dont mind at all.
1st they’re handling covid amazingly. I walked in hoping to find something for my horrible under eye dark circles and this amazing employee took her time to explain these amazing Drunk elephant products that help target my problem. She didn’t pressure me to buy anything and I could tell she genuinely wanted to help. She also gave me a bunch of samples from the brand. I really wish I got her name but she was amazing

The manager was rude and had an abrasive attitude. The beauty consultants that were available gave poor advice when choosing products. The store overall had great beauty products but the workers are less than helpful.

Probably the most unprofessional and rudest sephora’s that i’ve been to, me and my sister were shopping around night before christmas eve. and every employee was eyeing us up and down. and constantly asking what are we looking for, (not in a polite or helpful way) so i’m guessing they were suspecting us of shoplifting.but that’s not how you treat costumers. never coming back again

The associate who helped was extremely helpful. Not knowing anything about make-up, she thoroughly explained which products I should buy, and explained how to use them all. Would highly recommend for anyone, even if you dont know much about make-up but curious.
This is my favorite store but there is that new manger VANESSA that doesn’t know how to treat customers. I explained my situation and i told her that i forgot my store credit card and that i have a picture of it and i can FaceTime my husband showing her the card so i can make my purchase and she still refused this thing happened to me once before in Hoboken location and the manger was more than nice and she did use the picture with no problem but this VANESSA waisted my time and didn’t make my make my purchase. I really don’t know how Sephora hires this kind of people

Extremely helpful staff! Janice is the know all for cruelty free / clean products, what they have at Sephora or other. She was fantastic!Only reason I can dock my experience yesterday is the store stock doesn’t support her knowledge by carrying a lot of the products I needed.
All your make up needs are handled very professionally. No need to guess what looks good on you. Just take a seat and let the experts do their job.

Worst customer service. I came in to match myself to a lighter foundation the previous huda beauty foundation was too dark for me. I felt so judged and the behavior from makeup artist was totally uncalled for with a attitude. I didn’t purchase I walked right out the door. I always like going to the Sephora in the Macys wing at Willowbrook. The people who work there are always really nice, friendly, and helpful. I was surprised they treated me so nicely because I am very young. I worried they wouldnt take me seriously if I went there without my mom. They helped me a lot though and offered me free samples. I go there all the time to buy stuff now.
Horrible service, i was there Sunday evening, No one would assist or help me, i had to reach in the bin myself to get a product that was not out in display, the ladies at the register looked annoyed and unhappy to be there. Once at the cash register i was not greeted instead i was given an unpleasant attitude.
EMPLOYEES ARE VERY JUDGING I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I came here with bare face to buy a too faced born this way foundation and was looking at other products and wanted to try samples. Then one employee ( I didn’t see his name ) light skin kind of fat / chubby looked over at me and started making smirks and faces judging me and was looking at some other worker telling her to look at me and they both kept giggling and saying MEAN comments. I have been buying any type of product at this store many times and always find what Im looking for with the help of its employees. Yesterday, I went to buy as usual my make up and suddenly the cashier said happy birthday girl here is your gift and also they took me as a walk-in to have my make up done, of course with a purchase of $50+. The make up artist did such a great job, I walked out of the store with a very big smile on my face .Sephora made my birthday extra special. Thank you!! Love your products.
The store is too small and the testers sometimes run out of products. I wanted to get color matched for a foundation but it took way too long... The checkout line took forever too. Unless Im desperate to get something- Ill go to the other Sephoras.

Absolutely terrible service, my sis and mother had purchased makeup and the girl that rung them up told them that my sister can set up a makeup appointment so she scheduled one, the day of the makeup appointment she goes and the girl says she had never said that to the manager and the manager instead of fixing a mistake says that the girl knows the policy that shes been there for years, as A LOYAL SEPHORA customer Im disgusted with this specific store! I have never had a problem with the other Sephora stores The other managers have always accommodated their customers, the manager cant even fix a mistake and tried to make it seem that my sister AND PARENT were lying !

Went here Friday 11-07 manager without a nametag (African American) was super rude when I went to make a return online return with my online receipt she accused me of having it taken from someone and how people steal Sephora bags from food court and make an return she was suped rude to accuse me

Im here to write a review about the most AMAZING Sephora worker I’ve ever spoken with! Her name is Janice and she works at the Sephora at Willowbrook. I’ve had my fair share of rude workers, at Sephora and other stores. I had a bad experience at Garden State Plaza where all she did was bash the products I used right after she complimented my skin! She asked me what moisturizer I use and then laughed when I told her First Aide Beauty. She told me First Aide Beauty was for “teens” and not for someone as “mature” as me (I’m 28). Then proceeded to try and sell me a $70 moisturizer 😑 But Janice is FAR from that. That last time I was at Sephora, she helped my find products based of my skin concerns and budget. She recommended a few products and gave me a few samples to try. Well let me tell you, the products she recommended were amazing and transformed my skin. I’ve repurchased multiple products and even the purchased full sizes of the samples she gave me. I went back in today for some new products and she was there. Once again, recommended incredible products, gave me samples and was truly a pleasure to talk to. She listens, is so nice to talk to and truly makes you feel like she cares about you. Thank you Janice for such amazing service! I will continue to shop here because of you!

I serve in the military and came to New Jersey on leave for a few days and totally forgot my makeup in California. I walked into Sephora and immeadiately Jennifer (the makeup artist) came up and assisted me. She color matched me for foundation and hooked me up instantly with eyebrows and everything. So so grateful for Jennifer and the cashier who didn’t have a name tag (long blonde hair and a nose piercing) !! SO GLAD TO HAVE COME HERE

Only Sephora I go to for years and I love it there. The employees are very kind and always helpful. Sometimes I can be pain in the neck bc I came back with products I didnt like but the ladies werent rude or anything. They offered if Id like to exchange into something better or just to get my money back. Yesterday I returned a foundation I didnt like (Urban Decay Waterproof), and I got my refund a day after. Great customer service. And Id like to give a huge shout out to Kat Von D Lock it Tatoo foundation! Its full coverage and covers my blemishes with just one coat! Ive already used up about 8 bottles and I am in love. Best foundation ever if you have acne scars.

Someone please explain to me how come for my birthday last year, Ulta gave me a nice FULL SIZED NYX eye shadow pallet yet Sephora only gave me like a munchkin sized Tarte blush compact and lip gloss which by the way, the lip gloss was of such awful quality (very cakey!) and the compact was broken! And they refused to give me a replacement! What?!?! Id rather shop at Ulta then! At least they treat their customers better. Someone needs to look into how Sephora treats their customers. Otherwise youll just have a bunch of people like me who just rather shop elsewhere for their makeup or beauty supplies. Or give the privately owned beauty stores their hard earned cash.

Rude service and typcasting my 14 year old as a theif and an employee saying under her breath about “calling security” for no reason. Today my daughter went into the sephora for a mascara (which was better priced at the Ulta down the street where she ended up going after such a poor experience) She had her backpack with her, as she had practice before visiting the mall. She said she had no offers of help and decided not to get the mascara, put it back, and picked up a lip tint and a Milk toner. She put the products on a shelf and reached into her bag to see if she had 2 gift cards, since she knew her gift card wouldn’t cover it. She realized she didn’t have a second card, put her original card back in her bag and zipped it she while leaving. An employee that never spoke to her followed her as she left and asked her in a very rude, condescending voice “oh so you didn’t buy the tatcha Milk toner” or so, the EXACT name of the product my daughter was holding before, which showed that she was sideeyeing my kid the entire time, spying on even the products in her hand simply because she was a teen girl (their target audience) with a backpack. My daughter says she didn’t buy it and the store owner says with a very rude tone and snarky voice “So show me where you put it”, clearly expecting my daughter to fold over and admit she stole it. My daughter very easily walked her over to the display she left it at, much to the employee’s dismay, and sure enough the products were there, admittedly in the wrong spot, which my daughter apologized for (but putting a product on the wrong shelf is not a crime) the employee was baffled that she actually knew were the product was and whispered something about “call mall security” on her way out (I assume she said “I was going to call mall sercurity” or “call mall sercurity” to tell them she was mistaken, which would just show how she over reacted and called mall sercurity to begin with without even knowing if my daughter stole anything). My daughter the. went to Ulta, which is a minute away, and had a much better experience where she was not porfiled for simply being a teen. I don’t know why the employee was so quick to call out my daughter, to embarrass her and possibly call security without seeing if the products she “stole” were even gone, perhaps they get a bonus for catching thieves. My daughter let me in on the experience and I’ve decided to stop shopping there, since my teen daughter is clearly not welcomed. My daughter advidly goes to the mall by herself and with friends and has been in the store before, but i hope she won’t return. Overall, don’t shop with a purse or bag there, because OBVIOUSLY you must be piling pounds of their overpriced garbage in it, and if you are a teenage girl (their demographic with celebrities and youtube makeup lines their) don’t go there because you very so clearly do not belong their to the staff.
Last Thursday, around 5:15pm .This is the first time and the only one time complaint Sephora .i love Sephora 4years already.is my favorite store before last Thursday!I was so mad the last time shopping in Willowbrook mall location. I was waiting on line to check,and than one girl come standing by my right side, I keep watching her, she asked me “r u waiting on line ?”I said yes! She said ok . And than me turn, she go standing in front of me,I said “the line is from that side, ”she said “u said u don’t want it, u still looking something.u said I can go first!”I said :”I never said that, lier!”And then She said “the gril who work here she let me check here !” I know maybe the service let her wait here, but should on line .not before me !And then I asked another girl who working there, but she listen to her, not me .and then ask two people check for us together, I feel so hurts! Why bully me like that .4days already,I still feel so sad and angry and mad they didn’t check the cameras or listen to me .i feel so hurts ! Feel s bully I am Chinese!
Had an appointment confirmed that was on my email. The store for some reason didn’t have it. They wouldn’t accommodate me or weren’t even empathetic at all. In fact they had a rude attitude.
I was pleased with the make up that she did.but the next day I got a red rash on my left side of the chin.i have to go to the doctor now to see what it is because its not going away.They Dont properly sanitize the make up and the brushes.
I called today at 2PM, to check some merchandise, instead of of getting me to the store, they asked me come to the store in Garden State. They hang off the phone when I have still been talking. No patience, no human manner!!!
