Ive purchased three Stihl products from this business and its always been a pleasurable experience. Staff is helpful and friendly and definitely experts on thier products. I just upgraded a chainsaw and they gave me excellent trade in value.

Checked my records - and stand corrected. Much of my fee was from a previous purchase - a month earlier.This made the final bill more reasonable. Not worthy of my original 1 star review. Rating amended to reflect my mistake mHigher marks are in order, but communication and turn around are still lacking. A phone explaining what was in order would have been helpful. Raised to 3 starch. Still room for improvement.

The staff always takes great care of me. Ive purchased two saws and a generator from them. A large saw and a smaller saw. Both run great. They answer my questions and ensure I get the correct accessories (e. g. chains, bars) when needed. Im certainly not their biggest customer. I may know the least about chainsaws but they are patient and extremely helpful.

Under the current restrictions( Covid w/ mask) personnel are somewhat tentative to wait on you. When they do come they are very friendly and courteous.

The equipment is outstanding. Whati object to is an employee making excuses and making negative comments of my stepmother. Not cool!

Went in on Thursday to order parts. Guy says 2-3 days. Did not hear anything, so called on Tuesday just to be told that they just ordered parts will be two days. Get the parts a week later, and it was the wrong part. Be mindful I took to them what I needed. Not a pleasant experience, only plus is that I guess is that they were friendly.

Very nice people and probably not there fault— but for anything to go in front of a mechanic it takes 6 weeks if you purchased it there. They told me this with my chainsaw I purchased there and the guy with a riding lawn mower right before me. I was told this 6 months ago as well so it’s not the busy spring season causing the back up. No one told me that when I purchased those two chainsaws there. Again, if they can’t find mechanics it says a lot more about our population on welfare and not getting a skill like small engine repair ... but know if you buy something there they can’t repair it for 6 weeks. That alone will unfortunately mean I will probably have to take my next purchase somewhere else,, David

Service is average at best, very expensive. I would definitely drive past this place and go to Balsam Equipment Rental on down the road.

Have Purchase a Stihl Weed Eater, Leaf Blower & Back Pack Sprayer from here and always received great Customer Service! I Buy all my Accessories & Parts from them also, Guys and Gals at the Parts counter are very Knowledgeable and Friendly to deal with, Last Year my Weed Eater would not start and they help me figure out what might be wrong with it without ever seeing it and they were spot on with what was wrong with it and it cost 0.00 to fix the issue. They are busy at times that I have been there but If it were a Ghost Town in there I would be worried, seems like they do a good business overall and have been in business here for a long time.

We purchased a new John Deere. Matt was very easy to deal with. Answered all questions. Kristen took care of all the paperwork. Explained everything. David delivered the tractor and showed how to use the controls. It was an excellent experience!

After many years of being a loyal customer at By-Pass Power Equipment I experience the worst customer service I have ever received today. I called to inquire about an order I placed last week. Come to find out the order was never placed, which was due to a minor mix up. Instead of apologizing and retaking the order I was treated aweful and then hung up on. What makes matters worse is the person that treated me so badly was actually the owners wife. You would think with the economy being what it is and how hard people work for their money small businesses would appreciate loyal customers. I have always believed it is important to shop local and support the small businesses. This is one company that I will no longer support.

Horrible experiences, sell you what you don’t need, take it back fine tell you you need something else 2k more expensive, that you find out isn’t going to work either then charge you $1500 to take the piece of equipment back that they can still sell as brand new because it has about 30 minutes on it which could just be accounted driving around in their yard. Save yourself a lot of trouble and call Tri-Green Equipment in Tennessee. Wonderful folks there in Tn.!

People are friendly and seem to know their stuff !Where I find it lacking, as Ive seen in most business...poor communication among the staff !I needed my tractor to do specific tasks and asked to make sure it could do what I needed, but when tractor was delivered...it could not perform the tasks I requested of the salesperson because he did not communicate my needs to the mechanics who performed the tasks needed to make it work...FOR ME !Had to have it picked up and outfitted to my requested specs !...They were very helpful in picking up the tractor and will have the additional work done in a few days !For the multiple thousands I spent,...I expect greater attention to detail !

The absolute worst John Deere/power equipment dealer in all of the surrounding areas. Poor/rude service with a disgusting level of disorganization. You will be lucky if they even manage to actually order the correct item. If you are shopping around in the area, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your power equipment needs.

Everytime I try to order a part they AWLAYS put you on Hold for Longer then 30 mins. And its terrible I drove there 40 mins and still got me on hold and I got there and they wasnt even on the phone. They need to work on their phone service. Otherwise inside good.
