Cameron (who is short staffed) managed to fit me in across a busy schedule. Cameron Estes is awesome in the Service and Parts Department. We had someone back into our Springfield within the first 2 hrs of our vacation in NC and we are from WI. Cameron had the service department go through the bike to make sure we would be safe to drive it the rest of our vacation in the mtns. The dealership people were all so friendly and great customer service. They have most Indian Aparrel I have every seen at any dealership. Highly recommend.

We were doing some mountain riding and I’ve been needing to get my PIN number witch involves having the dealer hook up my bike to the computer. Stopped in to smoky mountain steel horses and ask service about it and they said sure thing. I’ve never dealt with a friendlier and more willing staff from service to motor clothes. Great experience. Will make a stop there next time we’re up that way.

I was disappointed at the Indian experience today. We had visited the wheels of time museum and as current Harley owners we thought we would investigate Indian ownership. One of our friends is in the market for a larger powered bike and according to the museum an Indian was an option. We walked in the door, six of us, and were treated the entire time as if it was a “ pretty woman moment”. Guess what, we had a trailer and money to buy! The employee, who think was a salesman, never once mentioned any details about the bike we were looking at or any thing on the floor. The inventory was low only six used bikes on the floor, one of which my friend was considering. But the “salesman“ never mentioned price, mileage or any information. We will visit an Indian Dealership when we return home, but honestly this review is to prevent anyone from wasting your time by visiting this dealership. Not sure how they stay afloat but it won’t be for any business of ours.

Very nice people and great customer service. Had a missing screw on one of my dog lights for my 2012 Yamaha v-star 1300 and went to see if they had an extra screw since the hardware stores were closed. They found a matching screw and lent me the tools I needed to put it in all for no charge. They’re great people and are very knowledgeable about motorcycles.

I gotta give a shout out to Smoky Mountain Indian for changing the rear tire on my Roadmaster without any notice. They went out of their way to help a traveler in need...

We came up for the Maggie Valley bike week event and stopped off to look at some bikes. They only had a couple bikes there which was disappointing. They did have a huge section for merchandise. They had a great band out front with a nice spread of dogs and treats. The staff was friendly and willing to help. 4/5 only cause of amount of bike selection.

On a 11 day trip. On day 5 i realized that my tires were dangerously low on tread. Arrived at store when they opened and they fit me in. Everyone was friendly.

Traveled from Texas to ride with two other friend to ride around the Maggie Valley area for 5 days on the bikes. We had plans to Ride the Dragon on a Tuesday and noticed the night before I had a questionable tire on my Harley Fatboy. I called the Store at Opening Time on Tuesday morning and talked to Cameron the Service Manager and politely explained my dilemma and riding plans for the day with my friends. I asked him to do his best to work me in. I arrived around 9:30 am and will say that Shane in the Shop had me in and out in about 1 1/2 hours which was fantastic for an emergency call to get me back on the road safely and reasonably priced. I had a flat on my Harley while traveling and they got me in immediately replaced the tire and I was on my way. The tire was ruined because I rode on it too long after airing it up going there. It went down fast. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

We was in Maggie valley for the slingshot rally and was having issues with our 2020 R Automatic shifting. We called to see if they could look at this for us the same day. And despite being totally booked for the day they got us in and fixed within a couple of hours. This place was amazing they did the update and took care of our problems and runs and shifts better than it did the day we bought it. What’s sad is the dealer we bought it from in Ohio wouldn’t even do the update. I can’t thank these guys enough for getting us back on the road in a short period of time. I thought I had a front-end issue with my Springfield during a motorcycle trip. The service folks rolled my bike into the garage to give it a quick check and reassure me that everything was OK. Hats off to the team for taking a look on very short notice.

I recently drove 5 hours out of my way to this Indian dealership because of the selection they had. As I sit here with my new Indian FTR 1200 S, I am having a incredibly hard time finding anything negative to say about my experience other than the gas money to and from the dealership. Customer service 10/10. Sales, 10/10, service 10/10 etc. Not only did they let me negotiate a price they also gave a considerable amount of merchandise to me for being a first responder. I DEFINITELY recommend this dealership for any and all services and other dealerships across the county could learn from the team at Smokey Mountain Indian Motorcycles.

I would like to thank the crew at Smoky Mountain Indian. My normal motorcycle inspection station got overly critical of my front tire just before a big visit from family, and planned motorcycle weekend.I looked every where to get my Victory a 21 inch tire in short order. No other Indian shop within 1 hr. and definitely not Harley ( they will only do maintenance on a Harley, according to service department in Swannanoa location) either had a tire or could get me in quickly.Mark in parts had multiple 21 inch tires, Cameron said he could fit me in the next day. So I drive an 1 1/2 to this beautiful shop, and Shane applied his expertise, in very quickly inspecting the bike and replacing my front tire. I owe these gentleman a big thanks for a glorious weekend of fantastic memories. I’d been looking forward to it for 8 months and thought it was ruined. I swear I could’ve eeked out another month of riding on that old front tire😜 It worked out for the best, with there great service I had a better safer ride.

Cameron & Corey, my angels!Im riding cross country on my Victory XC when my turn signal switch started acting funny. It would not turn on the turn signal randomly. I had stopped at Maggie Valley and only had a day before I started for the next segment of my trip. Desperate, I called Smoky Mountain Indian Motorcycle. Cameron asked me to come over and have Corey look at the problem. In less than 30 minutes, Corey had figured out what was wrong and fixed it! Awesome! I was out in less than an hour! Cant thank the guys enough. Its people like Cameron and Corey who make me believe in humanity! Truly my angels, you guys! You rock! Wish you the best!

I was coming to the area for only a few days so I decided not to drag my bike up and to rent one to ride in the mountains (I live in the vast sea level flatlands called Florida!). When I called to find out all the details I spoke with Deanna who was super knowledgeable and super nice!!! Upon arriving at the dealership I was amazed at the size and layout, just a beautiful store!!! Knowing I had only one day to ride Deanna took awesome care of me and had me on the bike in no time!!!After getting back to where I was staying I realized I had left my prescription sunglasses in the saddlebag!!! I called first thing and asked Deanna if she could have someone check the bags before it went out on rental. She said I’ll go check, hold on, sure enough they were there but the black soft bag they were in blended in perfectly with the black saddlebag! Just can’t say enough about the folks at Smoky Mountain Indian, thank you for a great hassle free experience!!!

I just bought a new to me Harley Davidson a couple weeks ago. The bike had been sitting for 2 years and wasnt running at peak performance. After reading all the great reviews on here about Cameron and the entire staff, I decided to check it out. So glad I did. Cameron recommended the right service to get me running like I should. We travel all around the US and visit every Indian Motorcycle shop in the area. We needed to get the crinkled chrome fixed on our bike and had started the process in another state. So I drove over 100 miles to another state to check out Smoky Mointain Indian and there service.I had them install and spin balance a new set of tires for my 2019 Springfield.They took me in at appointed time performed the service I needed and the mechanic washed my bike.Ive had this bike serviced in another state (5)x and never once did they wash my bike.So friendly staff, very professional and did everything in a timely fashion. I give them a 4.8 out of 5.0 .it doesnt get much better than this.

I was on a cross country trip and my indian chief decided that the VCM was going to short out right on I40. I got my bike towed to Roky mountain indian and I was lucky. Hands down the best techs Ive ever worked with. My bike ended up running even better than before it broke down. Fixed a few things just because they could at no cost. Friendliest staff. My bike was out for 3 days with diagnosis and repair, couldve been 2, but decided to stay an extra day. Service manager was awesome, techs were awesome. Even topped off my Dads BMW. They even called throughout the trip to make sure my bike was good. Made all the way to CA because of them.When I get a new bike Im flying out and buying from them. Then riding it back to CA. Punctured my tire late Thursday evening. Got it plugged and aired up. Decided to just show up Friday early and hope they could work me in. They did. I stopped in to buy a shirt and while there I asked Cameron Estes, the service manager, about a noise my bike was making. Before long he had a tech riding my bike and putting it on a lift in an attempt to diagnose the problem. Fortunately it was nothing serious, but even though the tech spent over an hour checking it out they refused to charge me anything. This is how a good business generates repeat customers. I’ll be back.

My husband and I were on a long distance ride and I need my chain to be adjusted. We called and they said to bring it on in. Cameron as the service desk was very accommodating and friendly and for us right in. Shane was the mechanic and he was so genuine and friendly. He spoke to us about how he wanted to adjust it and why he wanted to do it that way. I appreciated him explaining it to me since I’m not mechanically inclined. Everyone who worked there were friendly and they have an awesome store and waiting area. You can’t go wrong here their customer service is top notch.

Bought my bike here and always get it serviced here. Brought my bike in for a new rear tire and when I got the bike, the job was done right and the bike was in better condition than when I dropped it off. Even adjusted my clutch for free without asking!! You wont find a better dealer to intrust your bike to, I promise. So I was driving along and had a check engine light on. I drove 8 miles to specifically go get it checked. I walked in the dealership and went straight to service. The guys being the counter dropped what they were doing and immediately pulled my bike in. Corey (mechanic) quickly found a detonation sensor that was melted to one of my cylinder jugs. Fortunately, they had a new one in stock. They quickly fixed my problem and I was out the door continuing my ride. The group her was top notch and I would highly recommend them for your service needs. This place and these guys impressed me.

Never rent a bike from here. The General Manager is terrible with customer service! We rented a bike from him when they opened Saturday morning. He said to be back by 5, which is pretty early but understood. On our way back, we hit a major thunderstorm but instead of stopping, we continued back in dangerous conditions to try and make it. When we arrive at 5:05, the building is dark and we see the rental manager leaving on his bike down the road! No one was there! We had no choice but leave the bike there with keys in it, we repeatedly tried calling his number with no answer and no voice message pickup!! This is unacceptable behavior for any rental outfit and the worse service I have ever seen! We are still trying to resolve what to do and how to reverse multiple extra days rental charges! The sales side seems nice, but the rental is not something I would recommend ever. Stick to Harley who know that your customer may be late if it is storming.

Went to this dealership just to look. Walked away with a 2018 Chieftain Limited! All because of how we were treated. These guys were outstanding!!!! Sales went out of their way to make sure my wife was happy as well as the guys in the service department. Once again thanks Waynesville Indian thanks for the great experience!!!!!!!!!!

When no one in town could get to my motorcycle inspection that day I called their shop and they said come on in. I rode over and one the mechanics that was working on another bike stoped and gave me the inspection right away, sorry I couldn’t remember his name but he was super friendly and courteous.I will be back when I need service.

I want to make one thing abruptly clear, I absolutely LOVE Indian Motorcycles. I bought my bike in Lowell and have never been disappointed or let down by an Indian dealership until I went to this one. I needed new tires put on that I bought elsewhere and wanted them put on by a V-Twin motorcycle expert. Thought I would find that at Indian Motorcycle Smokey Mountains..... With the exception of Cameron, that was NOT the case. The tires were put on correctly and there was no issue brought up about me buying tires somewhere else and having the dealership put them on for me. Well, a few weeks later, I was doing a fine tooth cleaning of my bike and noticed some damage on the front fender. I called Indian and talked to Cameron and told him what had happened. Mind you, I had JUST gotten my bike back from Indian Motorcycle of Greensboro from being repaired from a lady hitting it while it was parked! So this was practically a brand new bike again with NO marks on it! After conversation with Cameron, he told me they didn’t see anything happen on footage but they could no longer pull up the footage because it doesn’t stay on their database long......Oooookay! I kept calling and calling only to be put off time and time again. Make a long, on going story short, after emailing back and forth with their operations manager, I still till this day have not gotten my fender fixed even though I have documented proof of them saying they’ll fix it. Oh, and the last email I received from that manager suggested that I did the damage myself and just wanted to take advantage of his dealership. So now, it’s been filed with my insurance and I plan on making sure people know what they’re walking into and who they’re trusting!Update: Since this event transpired, Cameron helped me A LOT to make sure I was taking care of and my bike was fixed. Still havent had that conversation with Darlene but my bike is fixed and Cameron is the FREAKING MAN!!!

I was riding with a group of friends about 500 miles from home, and as luck would have it, two of them had issues. We were a few miles from your dealership so we stopped in to see if you could assist us. Although you were already busy, your service personnel took both of our bikes to the shop and immediately diagnosed the problem and had us back on the road in less than 2 hours! You guys are a pleasure to deal with. Great service and friendly personnel. Can’t ask for anything more. I’m planning on moving to the Smoky Mtn. area and you will have my business, even if it means riding past another dealership!

Our friend wrecked his Kawasaki at the Dragon, since we were staying on this side of the mountains, we tried MANY shops around. Its was an easy fix but only SMOKY MT INDIAN took care of it. The bike was in and out in 1 hour and we had a chance to meet the nicest people, very beautiful show room and got to see some Indians up close. Funny thing is the same friend TRADED his Kawa a week later for a brand new Indian!

I was in the area riding my Motus when I discovered I was missing a bolt from my kickstand. I went to Smoky Mountain Indian and they put two bolts in my kickstand and only charged me for the bolts. In the process I noticed my rear tire was shot. They didn’t have a tire to fit my bike, so they got on the phone and found one for me. I went and picked it up because I needed it installed quickly and couldn’t wait for them to order one. They put it on and I was back on the road. I can’t recommend them more. Another dealership, who I won’t name, wouldn’t even touch my bike. I will take my bike to Smoky Mountain Indian regardless of brand, whenever I’m in the area and I need anything. They have made a fan of me.

Does not matter if you have a broken axle on a four wheeler or an old Harley that wont start. The mechanic here will take the up most care of your ride. He is meticulous with every step of tear down and repair. Just drop it off and know its in professional hands.

Very nice store. can service most brands in addition to the Indian. They keep a large selection of new Indians and Slingshots, also a good selection of used bikes. Great people to deal with.

My wife and I along with several other couples and individuals visited Maggie Valley, N.C. for the Thunder in the Smokies Rally this past weekend. We had a great time and a big contributor to such a great time was this dealership and its outstanding staff of superb people. I was an idiot for leaving for the rally without paying attention to the condition of my front tire. After arriving on Friday, a couple of our friends pointed out the wear of the tire. It was our 40th Anniversary weekend and I was excited to simply get out of town. Well, the first thing the next morning, we headed over to Smokey Mountain Steel Horses to check on my chances of getting a replacement. They were on my bike like a duck on a June bug. Great motorcycle shop. I was on the tail end of traveling cross country and discovered that my rear tire was showing thread. I was able to get in the same day for a tire replacement and oil change. Also, the service technician, Corey, was extremely outgoing and raised my attention to a clutch issues and informed me of the root cause for my faulty ABS light.

I recently bought my first motorcycle at Smoky Mountain Steel Horses, an Indian Scout Sixty. Kenney was great in helping me select the right bike and making sure I was comfortable with it. I found the entire staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with. I would highly recommend Smoky Mountain Steel Horses.....great bikes and great people.

If youre looking for a great selection of harleys, Indian motorcycles, and slingshots, The apparel and jewelry was very great looking too. They carry sizes from s,m,l,xl,2xl,3xl for men and women. They carry sizes for small children and onsies for babies. Deiane was very nice sales person. You should stop by and see them The guys In shop will set you up with a test drive too.
