The staff are very professional and friendly here. Even calling with some weird questions, they donβt bat an eye in providing information. The service was timely and I was in and out fairly quick! The sales staff is also very friendly and not pushy with my experience. I recommend all aspects of southwest vw.
Great service and helpful staff- Chris the service tech was especially helpful and explained all service details like a pro.When the Abilene VW dealer was unable to get my service scheduled for about a month, went out of town to Southwest Volkswagen for service.They in turn went out of their way to ensure service was timely, affordable and accurate for the car.They provided great shuttle service as well, able to support farther than normal pickups, which is always nice. I plan to use them again to get longer service when I can get off work.
Could use improvement!! Had our car towed into dealership when my daughter broke down. All calls go in to a βcentral call centerβ for all of the Southwest group and struggled to get anyone to call back and give updates!! Even after talking with the service manager who promised to call back. Things improved when my husband (who was out of town at the tome) got involved. The service representative did communicate with him better. They initially had the car a week. Unfortunately when the car was finished we picked it up and my daughter drove it home, the check engine light went on again which precipitated my getting a ride to her work and drove back up to dealership (35 min each way). They checked again and it came up with different diagnosis so they kept it again π€¦π»ββοΈ Thankfully they were able to provide a loaner car this time which was very much needed and they were apologetic. Then after the Holiday weekend the car was again ready for pickup on Tuesday. Then the next day, Wednesday, the βcheck fluidβ light came on which indicated low fluid levels after they had just flushed and refilled which precipitated yet another round trip drive to the dealership to check fluid levels. There are some positives to the dealership as once youβre there, they have a Nice facility and the folks are friendly and respectful. I understand thereβs issues going on that they and other dealerships are faced with currently that make it difficult to operateππ» However, improvements and better checks and balances processes are in order.
Everyone was so friendly! They gave me and my two children a ride so we could wait in the comfort of our home. They also picked us up. The showroom and restrooms were clean. The break area was well stocked with drinks and snacks. I was called and kept up to date throughout the entire process. The prices are pretty much on point with any other dealer in the area. Oh and I was able to get an appointment the day after I called! I really canβt find any reason to not recommend Southwest Volkswagen. I shall return! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Service advisors are great!!!!! Very friendly, and knowledgeable!!!! I purchased a used vehicle from them, and it came with my first two service appointments for free. I would also like to recommend my salesman, Michael Berry! We worked together for almost a year before I was finally in a position to purchase a vehicle. I never felt pressured, and he went above and beyond to find the right vehicle that fit my wants, and my budget. I was working with three different dealerships trying to make a deal and hes the only salesman that actually came through. The other two were trying to push me into a vehicle that didnt have anything from my want list. Even if you dont end up buying from Southwest Volkswagen, you should definitely give them a shot to earn your business!!!

SouthWest Volkswagen was wonderful when I was having a minor rattle with my Atlas. They sat in the car and listened to my issue, helped identify it, and then get the technician to fix it quickly and accurately. The technician even went the extra step to sit with me in the car and ensure the rattle was gone before handing the keys back over. I will go here every single time for my repairs. Fabulous dealership! They not only were honest about what my car needed- they shuttled me to work, ended up bring me a loaner car andβ¦. I was told it would be nearly a 2 hour wait, it ended up being only 30 - 45 mins. I was impressed that it was finished so fast! They also gave me a courtesy wash which was greatly needed.
Iβve loved everything about Southwest Volkswagen. Rachel in the sales dept is AMAZING and the service dept was GREAT as well when I went back for my complimentary oil change and hail dent repair. Iβll definitely make the two hour drive back when Iβm ready for a new car.

Service representative was very nice. Only problem is that they failed to reattach the engine cover after changing the oil, causing it to scrape the road when braking. Seems like a hard thing to miss when doing an oil change.**Update 9/1/21**In response to my original post, the service department asked me to call them so they could address this situation. I called and had to leave a message because only one person was working in the department and was not available. Nine days have now passed without a return call.
Chris is by far the best service advisor I have ever dealt with at a dealership. He listens to my concerns and will always go above and beyond to diagnose it and complete any repairs if needed in a timely manner.

Had appointment at 1:30 for oil change. Quick efficient and on time.
I dropped my car off around 12pm today for an oil change and a simple tire patch. I waited until 4 and called and was told I would be called back in 10-15 minutes. Another hour went by so I called again and they said my car would not be ready until 6:15. I arrived approximately 6:30 and my car was still not done. Some of the worse time managing people I have ever seen. Almost 7 hours for an oil change and a tire patch WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
I brought my TDI in for a steering and braking issue. Everyone at the location was courteous and professional. I explained to my service rep I like to see whats going on with my car to better understand their diagnosis. They brought me back and explained in as much detail as I wanted 1, what happened. 2, how it occurred. 3, what was needed to correct the problem. They even diagnosed issues the previous dealership missed.
They were very profesional and thorough. Didnβt buy my VW here but wish I had! Will get next one here.

Worked with Chris in the service department and he made the experience very easy for us. We dropped our car off and he was very transparent about the turnaround time for work at that time, which I appreciate. We used a loaner car from them and got ours back a few days later with every problem fixed.

Oil change went great. Got in the car the next day and realized the tech had broken off my hood release latch and nobody told me. It was already partially disconnected but the least they could have done is told me. They are replacing it labor free with me buying the $50 handle.

Not happy at all. They charged me for fixing my ac and it still doesnβt work! Then tried to say it was something else and theyβd fix it for 3300. Will never go back to them for any thing wrong with my car! And they said they would wash it and they did not. Grease on inside of my door handles. Ya just a bad experience with them π

Good service writers, always a bit of a wait but the work is quality. Only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is the car wash bent my license plates up pretty good, and the cost of an oil change went up $23 in less than 2 months!
They changed my oil, fixed any recalls, and notified me of the future service. They also gave me a military/Veteran discount with proof of ID or service.
They always do an exceptional job of giving you an accurate estimate, both in time needed for the work and the cost of the repairs, up front. Been working with Chris as my service advisor for the past three years and he goes above and beyond.

The only issue I had was witnessing extremely unprofessional behavior from the used car manager named Dale.He was reprimanding a female employee rather rudely & loudly. There were a few customers that could over hear the whole thing.She put a set of keys in the wrong place. It seems like a conversation that should not have happened around customers.He literally had too walk a few feet too retrieve the keys. The tantrum we witnessed seemed very unnecessary. And completely inappropriate for the work place.I felt very bad for the female employee.
The passenger side headlight didnt work. I need a new headlight assembly The mechanic tried his best to get it to work. Chris was awesome to keep me informed on this work.

The worst experience with a car dealership Iβve ever had to deal with. And was there to have a car I purchased from them serviced. Missing parts, my car was dirtier than when I left it with them, trying to have two issues resolved that should have been covered under warranty was like pulling teeth and still walked out spending nearly $1,000.
An oil change and tire rotation took 2 full hours. Upon leaving I discovered that the tires had not been balanced. Another hour and a half and I finally got back on the road.
Oil change, alignment & sway bar replacement. Nice & helpful. Just takes sooo long. There over 3 hours.
