I used to love Payne Ford in Weslaco and would always encourage people to go there for their service needs. However, I dont know WHAT is going on over there these days but my Sons Excursion has been sitting there for 3 MONTHS (!!!) and STILL isnt done being worked on...IF its being worked on at all. When we call we get the run around...we cant figure it out... excuse this...excuse that. I find this ridiculous!! WHO can wait 3+ Months for a repair? And with no offer of a replacement vehicle in the meantime. I am so disappointed and angry that I referred my son there and THIS is the service he is getting.

I would like to publicly thank the Payne service department managers. My motorcycle ran out of gas nearby and I walked to the service center and the manager not only let me borrow a gas can, he had his porter take me to the gas station to fill it up. What a great group of guys! When its time for a new vehicle, I will be heading straight to Payne.

My Dad Silvestre Rodriguez had the unpleasant experience dealing with Ed Payne Motors 10/12/21 in Weslaco.He bought a used Ford Focus still under warranty and has continously been jerked around by the service advisor Joe Martinez and his discombobulated mechanics because they cant figure out the issue on the car but yet they claim its already fixed but clearly its not. I personally have stop dealing with these people due to their unprofessionalism. The Payne brothers apparently dont care for the customers either only the money they make out of loyal customers.Dont be a victim of these thieves shop elsewhere. Its only a friendly warning. Theyve done wrong to too many people I know its just a matter of time you get burned as well. Joe Martinez needs to get educated better on handling customers better.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I took my vehicle to get repaired and I thought that because my vehicle is Ford and they specialized in Ford vehicles i wouldnt have a problem with my vehicle after they fixed it.. I was WRONG in thinking theyd do a good job! My service helper was Jose Martinez and he did a LOUSY job in helping me with my vehicle getting repaired. I spoke to the manager Oscar and took my vehicle back SEVERAL times after I was called that my vehicle was ready. My vehicle still needs fixing and they are asking for more money!

Fast to get in all the paperwork to get you out with your new vehicle. Good job at calling back customers for updates regarding appointments, change in plans with other customers, etc. Mileage was off by 13,000 on the website it reflected lower (which drove me to purchase vehicle) at the dealership reflected higher. Which I was a bit hesitant. They do need to work on that. That way there are no surprises, but still a good job overall in service.

We are from out of state, on our way home to an important event our car had issues so we dropped it off Wednesday morning. The communication has been a disaster with wrong and different information being given each time I’ve called. I’ve been told the part would be there a certain day/ time. Then I was told it would be a few days. Then I was told possibly tomorrow or the coming Monday. Odds are we will be still stuck in Texas come Sunday when we were supposed to be back for an event. Had communication been clear I could’ve found an alternate way home or at the very least been able to give proper notice. This has been the worst and most frustrating customer experience I’ve ever dealt with to date with a dealership.

I think you have a great establishment here. Everyone I delt with was awesome. The only comment I have to you is I think that when you find other issues other than what was intended plus the tires. You should consider giving your customers a little bit more of so we don’t have to suck up all the time involved. For example my bill was over 4,100 and was only given a 158.00 break. Everyone needs make money but there comes to a point where you should think about the customer. Your service department was very good from Wally on down to the time I picked up my truck.

After this said he needed to verify if camera was in stock. After a while he came back stating that according to year and model it would need to be ordered. If the VIN wasnt a good form of verifying year and model why ask for it and claim part is in stock?Payne service dropped the ball big time.Thanks for a waste of time.

Jose Villa was fantastic to me and my wife. This is the first time she experiences buying a car. We went to two other dealerships that are the competition of Payne and they gave me and especially my wife the worst experience possible. I was placed on hold for twenty minutes and someone picked up the phone and placed it back on hold. I called back and and placed on hold again. I live in this town with less than thirty thousand people, these should have not happen to a small city if they want to keep their customers. I would find other Ford service centers.

If you see a car at another Payne location they can bring it to you to show you. I didn’t feel like they just wanted a sale, they really wanted to find the perfect car for me in my price range. Worst service Ive ever experienced... took in my car at 9am for airbag recall..salesman Juan Martinez said my car would be ready by the end of the day...called at 3:30pm to find out status on my car and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes until they hung up without any response...called back at 4:15pm and spoke to Juan Martinez and he advised me that they were barley gonna take in the car then he said he needed to order some parts for the car ...I asked him that what parts did he know he had to order if the car had not even been looked at nor inspected...I asked him if they could get me a loaner car which he stated they didnt have any...I told him thats the only car I had n had to go to work the next day and he rudely replied that my only option was to go pick up my car before 5pm because that was their closing time...I went to pick up my car without getting the airbags fixed ...have not gotten any calls from them to at least try and work something out or anything...which if in an accident God forbid my life and my familys are at risk...NOT THAT THEY CARE....WORST SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED!!

I took my Ford Edge to Payne Weslaco Ford so that my Radio would be fixed. I went in to the service department and spoke with George, he told me it would take a day and a half at the most. George said he would give me a call to let me know that my car was ready. Day one passes, day two comes and still no call from George. I call the service department and they still havent started on my car. I told them I needed my car its the only one I have. So I gave them another day to hopefully work on my car. Comes day 3 and they still havent started on my car. Their excuse is that they have to many cars to work on. OK, I understand they may have a lot of cars to work on but why wouldnt George tell me that in the beginning and set me up an appointment. I am so disappointed and frustrated with Payne Ford.
