I was very pleased with how speedy the service was. Completely on time and done with great communication. No one is happy to pay $$ for a new window, but it didn’t hurt as much given the quality of service from Bernardo.

This business has their process down pat. Next day appointment, dropped vehicle off early and it was ready before the actual appointment time. Job was done correctly at the stated price. Courteous and friendly employees.

On 7/14/21 I provided all my of vehicle info to Safelite. Safelite then proved me a quote of 638.07 to replace the front windshield so I set the appointment for 7/21/21. On 7/21 an hour after I dropped my vehicle off Safelite called to tell me they do not have my glass in stock and the cost is going to be 947.30. Safelite said the could get the glass in on 7/27 but would not be able to honor the original price. I then asked why didnt they look into ordering the glass when I provided my vehicle info and I was told that Safelite does not have time to make sure they have the correct glass based on your vehicle info. Im disappointed that I took the time to provide them with all the required information needed to replace my windshield and the time to drop/pick up my vehicle and Safelite can not take the time to make sure the part in available for my appointment and the pricing is correct. If you value your time do not use Safelite.

I had to take my car here a few months ago for a cracked windshield and the cheap off brand they use wouldnt calibrate with the nav system so I had to go back when they got a new windshield from Honda which worked fine. I unfortunately got another crack from yet another stone so it had to be replaced again. I just got home and the calibration they did was WAY off and my car kept trying to pull me out of my lane and I had to disable the nav system. Also, there is a clear distortion like you are looking through glasses that are to strong of a prescription at eye level all they way across the windshield. How did they not see this while installing it???? Now I need to go back AGAIN. I would never use SafeLite again but my insurance company forces me to and it would have been much cheaper both times for them had they let me get it fixed at the dealership each time. The people are very nice but the quality of the product the use is horrible.

We are on attempt FOUR to get our windshield replaced. They keep ordering defective or warps ones and dont notify us until our car has been at their shop for 6 hours or more. We have lost out on almost 20+ hours of overtime from work and additional travel expenses. Cannot get a manager to call me back after 3 attempts. I have contacted my insurance company about this issue and advise anyone to stay away.

I work for a school district and we have vans that we use for athletes. I scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time for a Monday because we needed the van ready by Thursday. The driver comes with the wrong window and then says they will be in touch. I never received a phone call back so I decided to contact the driver. He gave me the run around saying they have the vin now and ate looking for the right windshield. That didnt make sense because they had the vin from the start. Another day went by and still no communication so I decided to call the office. They have an automated system so your not able to talk to a real person and the automated person just directs you back to the website. Its now Friday and I still havent heard back from them but they sent me an email to start the whole process over from start without any explanation or as if I canceled. Terrible service all the way around, I wouldnt recommend to anyone especially if your in a hurry

I had a small crack on my drivers side window from a rock. Right after it happened I immediately thought of safelite from all the commercials. The online website couldnt be easier to use. I scheduled an appointment and they finished the entire job in 45 min. They even vacuumed my car and had it smelling like new. Great service with a super friendly staff. Were in 2020 now, I wish every service provider businesses would get on board like this.The representative behind the counter was welcoming, helpful, and got me in and out in no time.The technician was very informative after replacing my windshield. Cost for my trucks windshield didnt exceed $300, as expected. Cost will vary depending on year, trim level, etc. (Some vehicles have sensors on the windshield or heating elements which require specific windshield, in terms cost more). The job was done in a timely manner, 4 hours after drop off. This is my second time using their service and I will always recommend them to anyone looking for automotive glass service. Its their specialty, I wouldnt go to anyone else.

Made an appointment online. When my husband and I arrived they said they had to special order the part (back slider window for a pickup truck). Spent about 30 minutes giving the receptionist the VIN and making sure the right part was ordered. She said theyd call once it came in. After a week I didnt hear from them so I called and spoke to a technician for 30 mins repeating the VIN and she assured me they had the part and scheduled an appointment for me. Got to my second appointment and receptionist said again they didnt have my part and had to start the whole process over again. No thank you, will take the truck somewhere else.

Even though they werent able to fix my window prior to leaving town, this Safelight location crash-wrapped my cars busted out window (car got broken into while staying in downtown Milwaukee) for free without needing an appointment.

SAD, VERY SAD, EVERYTHING IS AUTOMATED AND THERES NO WAY TO GET TO A LIVE CHAT AND BECAUSE OF THAT ID NEVER USE OR EVEN TRY TO USE THEM AGAIN.

Very pricey for the price estimate. For. 2017 Ford Focus windshield replacement it was upwards $300.Hello! Edit- I ended up going to auto glass pro near Miller park (55 blue mound) for 230. Blue Tint full replacement and only took 45 minutes. Staff very friendly and professional, would recommend.

The West Allis Safelite location did an excellent job fixing the issues of my previous windshield installation by the West Bend location. I wish I would have come here to begin with. They have great customer service and truly listen and address your concerns. I waited while the work was being done and their waiting room is pleasant and clean. While the work was being done, the team members kept me up-to-date on the status and even had me look at the window immediately after it was set to make sure I was happy with the positioning. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again.

The man who finally came after 5+ minutes was rude gave no details took my keys and disappeared. $500+ later, might I add the windshield was done in less than an hour but was $200 cost in labor must be nice making $200+ dollars an hour, I got the car and the windshield wasnt even cleaned outer and inside window was dirty. Never going there again.

I had an overall good experience. Driving back from Colorado got a chip in windshield that turned into a long crack. Benny replaced the glass but unfortunately forgot to replace my remote start antennae. (I’m sure it wasn’t intentional). I went back & the manager (sorry, I didn’t get his name) sent me back to Alarmtronix (where I originally had the remote start installed) to have a new antennae installed. Besides a slight inconvenience, I feel Safelite Auto Glass provided exceptional service.

I went in for a small chip in my windshield. i worked with Benny Lara and i recommend him 100%! he fixed the chip super fast. hes also a super nice, friendly guy as well! he even vacuumed the front of my car for me which ive been needing to do for a while. if i ever need another repair, ill definitely be coming back here for it.

Had a quote for 220$. I decided to see if insurance would cover and it.doesnt but my new quote is now $369. I will not be using this scam. Its covid and they still scamming. I have to cover my cost. Not insurance. Using insurance always Jacks up the prices. Shameful

Benny at Safelite West Allis was AMAZING! He was very upfront with me on what the repair of my chipped windshield entailed and what it would cost. I was quoted about $150 for a fill. Benny took about 45 minutes to repair my windshield and came back and told me it went really well. He also vacuumed the inside of my car for me which was so nice and totally unexpected! Kathy at the front desk charged me only $95 for the repair and they sent me on my way! My windshield looks so much better and I dont have to worry about it cracking now! I will DEFINITELY return to Safelite for future repairs!

Although final outcome was good, getting there took some work. Due to no fault of first tech,I had a slight window leak. Called Friday @ 8am to get it fixed. Customer service rep scheduled it for my home in Fox Lake, IL on Saturday from 8-12. At 12:10 I called customer service who reached out to techs facility. He called, he said he didnt have me scheduled for 8-12, that I was scheduled for the PM. Because he didnt get the order till 9am that Saturday and didnt have my windshield. I questions why he was bring a new windshield for a warranty repair. He stated his work order did not show that. And if the original windshield was just replaced, he could not take it out without goop getting on the interior or my car. I cancelled this call and called the office yet again. After dealing with another rep who was a little arrogant I finally got rescheduled to this past Tuesday. The tech that came out to the Marion Ave address was great, very personable.I do think the main Customer Service depart needs a little more training on return warranty calls.

Ended up not having broken glass driver side door but bad actuator. Knowing this could be issue i bought one prior to arrival and they replaced it for me at a super great price. Got me in next day. Very impressed by these guys and will recommend to anyone needing anything to do with glass or windows.

I didnt even have an appointment, but was able to get my windshield chip fixed within 45 minutes. Very helpful and friendly at the front desk--I was offered coffee, tea, and water. Benny Lara was the technician working on my car-- not only is the chip barely visible anymore but he also vacuumed out the front of my car. He also saw that I was fumbling with my things on my way out and offered to throw away my used plastic cup. You dont get that kind of thoughtfulness very often! This was my second time at the West Allis Safelite, and I will continue going back for future repairs.

I was referred by my insurance company to this shop to replace the glass on my 2012 Chevy after a large stone cause a chip and crack in my windshield. Glass was replaced on 2/19 and on 2/28 I heard a slight tic sound and sure enough I had another crack in the glass that was just replaced less than 2?weeks earlier. They came out and said it appears to be another small chip???? On the first loss it sounded like a bullet hit my windshield but on the subsequent loss I did not even think I was hit by a stone. All I can say is they must use some inferior glass products here and I would suggest someone else besides Abra or this group for your glass replacement. Im out my deductible but wont be going back. I have over 150k miles on this vehicle and only went about 200 miles and less than two weeks and the windshield is cracked again. Seems the would warranty their work for at least two weeks.

My driver side window needed repair immediately! The owner told me to come in he had my window the price was great was in and out with a new window in exactly 1hr like he said. He even had the guy put extra tape on my window and window roll down buttons so I dont forget to not roll them down for the 5 days. Thank you again

Had to reposition the rubber trim myself. They didnt even bother to put back my plastic retainer pieces. Lazy workers for premium price. I had wires hanging on my roof liner that couldve easily been tucked in.

I had a great experience with these guys. I got in within a day of breaking my windshield. I was given an accurate quote online, and I was made aware of any issues going on every step of the way. Not only did they replace my windshield to a great degree of quality, but their customer service is phenomenal. It is -27 F outside, and the tech made sure to leave my car in their heated garage so I could drive out there instead of going back outside. They also cleaned all my windows, which I thought was a nice touch 👌🏻 5 stars for customer service, and a great experience with an unfortunate thing to have to take care of on a cold day. Shout out to Enrique, who did an excellent job.

Couldnt even adequately fill a chip in my windshield. Chip was only about the size of a pin head and it looks the same with the resin in it as it did before I brought it in if not worse. I dremeled their resin out myself and bought a $6 kit on Amazon and did a better job then these professionals. Poor work and poor customer service.

Very disappointed I took it for a small crack which I thought they would be able to fix easily when I get there they tell me that they might not be able to get rid of like the visuals of the crack some thinkin Maybe like a little. now thats pretty much the same thing just a little close down terrible terrible

Rude, I purchase items and services for a living. I was told the mobile unit would not repair my retired father who is a vet unless he had a heated garage. In addition to this request I was honest and told them I like to receive a few quotes before proceeding. This is when the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up on me as I was speaking. I dont like writing bad reviews but buyer beware... Any company who is not happy with you being honest and telling them you needed to make sure you received the best pricing is not a company you should deal with. Heated garage request was not standard...

They have fixed my windshields in a pinch on a number of occasions throughout the years. Reasonably priced and good service. I am very thankful!

Had a small chip in my windshield from a pebble- was able to get an appointment within a few hours. Work only took an hour and they did a great job. Kathy at the front desk was incredibly helpful- she called my insurance company to verify coverage and get them to pay for it, instead of me originally going to pay out of pocket. She turned on PBS for my kids instead of the soap opera that was on. My son dumped a bag of snacks into my infants car seat while I was nursing, and she so kindly took the seat and cleaned it out with their shop vac. She went way above and beyond to help and to make our time in the waiting room pleasant. Doing errands with 3 little kids isn’t always easy, and she really made this a positive experience. I highly recommend!!!

Safelite advertises on their website that they will replace the broken car window, vacuum up ant debris, and clean all windows. The reason for the two star review is because I only got my window replaced. They didnt clean up any glass debris and no windows were cleaned. For $250 I should be getting all what I paid for, especially after already having my car window broken into. Additionally, the online phone technician messed up my appointment and told me it was a week before she had actually scheduled it. So I had to call and fight to get my car in and fixed as I couldnt continue to park my car on the street with a broken window, although this was more on the Safelite group as a whole and not the West Allis location. One good thing about this location is that they were able to bring me in on such short notice and fixed it rather quickly.

Okay so got a crack on my windshield just a little. Went to Safelite to get a repair my appointment was for 9:30 been waiting here almost an hour still no results commercial that show on TV is not as described and not waste your time coming here they say theyll make your brain you but that dont they lied to you and they could actually break the windshield youre better off driving it until cracks on the way would not recommend

Set up and paid for my windshield replacement, I thought my appointment was for five days later which seemed kind of long, but I went with it... Turns out it was for a week and five days... So I cancelled my order and had emergency auto glass replace it the next day for $150 less

Car got broken into, called Safelite, came within an hour, car died due to alarm running all night. They drove me to work, did all of the work, and drove the key back to me. Experience was as good as it could be on a day like this. Would recommend to others.

Had an appointment scheduled yesterday for 8AM-Noon., however they never showed up or called. Around Noon I texted the number that confirmed the appointment and was told they were still scheduled to come out. I called the local number around 3:30PM and was told the technician called in sick. But NO CALL, nothing! My husband sat around for 7 1/2 hours waiting for these guys to show up and they didnt have the common decency to inform us no one was coming out. Save yourself the aggravation and find some professionals to do the work.

Not only was Safelite able to repair the crack in my windshield, but the staff were very professional and courteous. They turned what could have been a stressful and negative experience into a very smooth process. I recommend them to all of my friends and family.

The customer service was great, very nice and friendly staff. However, when I got home I noticed 2 scratches on my brand new vehicle that were not there when I dropped it off. It looks like something metal or a knife scratched into the side of the car just above the wheel.I can get past that, its a mistake and those do happen. Maybe the person didnt even notice it happened, aggravating but I try to believe that if someone noticed that theyd have brought it up. But then Sunday night a storm hits and Im driving home with my family in the car, I have almost no visibility. The windshield was not cleaned properly before it was put onto the car. There was a film or residue on both the inside and outside of the glass. This was a HUGE issue, if I wasnt less than 3 miles from my house, or worse if I was on the highway when it happened, Id have been in actual danger.The staff was friendly, the timeframe was reasonable, but the actual application was not up to par at all.

I arrived for an appointment made by Geico only to find that a) they didnt realize it was an appointment - that I wasnt dropping in and b) that they werent prepared to replace the windshield if that were necessary. Very disappointing.Only one person there doing both the desk and the glass work. Impossible to re-appoint without the manager, who was not present.☹️

Had a very annoying rattle in back of my 2005 jeep GC. Brought it in and problem was correctly diagnosed in about 2 minutes. They said bring in the new hinges and they would replace them for $50. I bought the parts and made a new appointment. In about 10 minutes they fixed it and said no charge. Rattle is completely gone, and window opens and closes great.

Just a nightmare. Brought the wrong windshield out to replace the cracked one on my new 2017 BMW. Replaced it with the existing one and there is glue all over the interior and paint, saying they would call me to schedule a new appointment. Called three times, never heard back from the manager. Now, the thing leaks like a sieve and ended up going to the BMW dealership anyway, like I would have before the insurance company forced me to use these clowns, and will probably end up with additional damages due to leakage in the cabin of the car. Call your local guy, may cost a bit more but not worth the hassle to go through Safelite, at least this franchise.

That blast inside of my door so when you close the door you hear the glass put tape around my window so that the tape stuff to my paint find out that got the window from a used car they dont use brand new windows
