I went to United after multiple people in my office had said they had positive experience with them. I too would highly recommend United Automotive!Im new to the area and originally had an inspection, oil change and some other work done at another shop. I brought my vehicle to United for a second opinion as well as additional estimates for the work the other shop indicated I needed.After their inspection (which took a fraction of the time - 1 hour compared to 3 at the other shop) I found out that the other shop was going to try and charge me for a part/service I didnt need! Even worse, its apparently a part you can see just by lifting the hood, and you could see that it was perfectly fine!When I got the work done that needed to be done (about a week after the inspection as parts were ordered and came in over the weekend), United was fast, responsive, and more affordable. I fully expected the work to take more than one day but when I called around 3pm to get an ETA on when I could expect to come pick up my car, I was told they were working on it now and it would probably be done around 5/5:30. And what do you know? At 5:21 I get a call that my vehicle is all set!In general, I really liked the vibe of United. As a young female, I was worried about looking stupid and being taken advantage of (clearly what the other shop was trying to do... Its for that reason I have always had my dad or another male in my life handle all the vehicle maintenance lol).Excellent customer service. I spoke with Bob at the front desk who never made me feel silly. Instead of mansplaining or condescending (or not even explaining) he took time to help me know what my situation was and what my options and potential outcomes were.Overall a really great experience. I will continue to take my vehicle to United for as long as I am in Fargo. Thank you!!

A friend spoke highly of United Automotive but did admit their prices are often higher than competition. I decided to give them a try them anyways as good service is worth a little extra. I called last Wednesday for 2 tire quotes of different sizes but for the same pickup. They could fit me in Thursday for the one size but I wanted the other that werent in stock, said theyd be in on Monday. I said that was acceptable and made the appointment for Monday.... I dropped the pickup off this morning (Monday) at 7:40, they had no appointment scheduled but remembered talking to me, he consulted last weeks notes and I was scheduled for Thursday. He apologized and said theyd have time to get it done. I got dropped off at 2:30pm after work, to find that the job was not done. Once they realized I had to wait in the lobby they began mounting the new tires. I paid as they finished up and got ready to go. Once they pulled it outside I realized they had mounted the other size tire that I did not want. When I walked back in to ask about the errored size, I was met with a blank stare and, I thought thats what you wanted? Well you cannot return them, what would you like to do? at a loss for words I turned and left.....I will not be a repeat customer

So took my truck in they got it in right away tested right away i never had to wait on their call or call and check in they where very quick and efficient. Called me with updates on cost as more arose and given my issue price was reasonable explained exactly what they did why and how. Great experience i will for sure make them my home mechanic from now on being new to fargo i am glad i found them and so close to home. Thanks everyone for your hardwork!! Always great care for my vehicle from oil/filter/fluid changes, new tires to brake work. I highly recommend their work!

The location is close enough to my house where I can walk and be home while waiting. The only reason I didnt score them a five is because they didnt ask if I wanted a synthetic oil change, which I like to do.

Very friendly people. Didnt judge me for being a woman or overcharge either. Quotes are pretty spot on when giving estimates on fixing issues. Highly recommended. Also keeps a customer informed of what is going on with vehicle if something else needs replacing.

I will never bring a vehicle of mine to the United Automotive Tech Center! Nobody called me with an estimate first to let me know how much it was going to cost and then ask me if I wanted them to do the work that was done. Someone shouldve let me know the estimate and got my permission first but that didnt happen! This is how SCAMS happen.

Chase and the team were great to work with. I had to completely replace my engine. Not a fun scenario. And I did not have the cash immediately available. They allowed me to store my truck there for 6 weeks until I was ready to do the work. Never called or pressured me. They were patient with my questions and assured me they were sourcing the engine directly from a dealer source and not a 3rd party source. They did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. And even negotiated a better price on an aftermarket add-on. I will definitely return.

They are great! I can normally get my vehicle in within a day and it helps its so convenient with where I work! I was referred to them about 7 years ago and have not gone anywhere else. I have never had a complaint about them and the work they do. I highly recommend their services!

United Automotive has been taking great care of my vehicles since 2008! Ive never once been disappointed with their service of my cars or their customer service with me and my family. They have always even let me know when a service isnt needed if I thought it was and asked them to do it. They are so good to explain to me in terms I understand what they are doing to my car and why it needs to be done. It is great that they have three convenient locations in town too. Even though I frequent the West Fargo one, I have used all three!

Always professional, friendly, and over all great service. Straight forward and informative with what is going on with my vehicles. Never any problems and always looking to get me the best price, not just taking my money. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone, great bunch of guys.

They always get me in right away. They call and let me know what needs to be done and let me know if its not necessary at the moment. They are always nice. And do a great job.

Was there to leave my vehicle right when the doors open at 7:00 am. No contact until I called them at 3:00. Promised to call me right back to give me a status report, I called them back a 4:00. They couldnt find the problem but were glad to bill me for the diagnostic time.Maybe not an issue for others, but I commute 60 miles so it would be nice to get a little communication on the status of ones vehicle even if you cant figure out whats wrong with it.

United did a good job on some repairs on my 1996 Chevy c/k1500 pickup. I had some complications with some parts going bad and they discounted the parts as a bundle and had it done in about a day. No hassle with the bill that I needed some time to come up with. Only charged me about $33 for an oil change and a new oil filter. Id recommend them.

Ive gone to United before to have my vehicles worked on. The service writers are always knowledgeable and friendly. The service technicians know what they are doing and do it well!

United Automotive was courteous and efficient. They very kindly fit me in when they were already full to see what was wrong with my car so I could schedule a service date promptly. I definitely recommend them if you need your car serviced!

United Auto has been my go to auto shop for the past 8 years or so. They have taken care of everything from major issues to simple oil changes. I have had bad experiences with other shops, but I have never had that with United Auto. I recommend them to everyone!

A bit overpriced and they charged me a $100 just to hook it up to a machine for diagnostic purposes. Typically in my experience if you get the work done there they dont charge you or its around $50. Service was good but I dont think I would go back

Good service and good prices. Work completed quick and were honest about the work required. Told us that the work another shop recommend was not needed. Didnt have any loaner cars or courtesy van. Would use them again.

Was told 3 different prices for tire change. TPMS system messed up after tire change.
