West Hartford Lock replaced all locks on my new home last year. Everything still works just like new and very happy with the job, would recommend for all lock needs.

I moved into a 1916 home in West Hartford and 3/4 of the doors in the home either did not line up to close correctly, were missing door hardware (latches, knobs), or had dysfunctional locks. West Hartford Lock spent about 4 hours in my home going from door to door doing everything from checking screws to removing and adjusting latches in the door frame to installing some new modern remote locks I had purchased. They were friendly and knowledgeable of the hardware, especially impressive considering it’s age. They left my home briefly to go to the hardware store to pick up some brass screws to try and maintain the original hardware’s character. There were a few original brass latches that they did not have so they plan on returning to complete those💿They even fixed some of the original locks to work with original keys the previous owners left us - relics! I recommend these guys for anything lock and key related!

Simply put, they are a solid, reputable company that provides timely and accurate (a must have with locks) service. I have used them for many years, and am dropping off more work today!

Reason for visit: having 3 new locks rekeyed to matchArrived in the late morning and was promptly greeted. Shortly after a gentlman came out to the register to assist me. Quickly checked my locks and keys to see which of the existing keys would be the strongest.He then rekeyed two of the locks to match the third and provided the extra keys. Polite, professional, and high quality service. Would definitely return.

This is the place to go if you dont want any hassle with your keys working. Believe me the difference between going to Home Depot or others is VAST. Pay the difference for peace of mind. Theyve been around for a long time. They repaired an ancient front door lock and found keys for an old dresser. I go to them now exclusively.

I needed a couple of copies to a house key. The reliable hardware store nearest to me were honest and said that with the age and wear that Id be better off paying a visit to WH Lock.I had tried Home Cheapo first but their dup wouldnt work in my doorknob.It was worth the extra buck per blank to have it done right at WH Lock.

Got there, sign says open and no one is available to copy a key for another hour at least. Pretty useless if you ask me.
