Stopped in for a quick, self checkout purchase, got home, then realized I had lost my wallet. Called the store and once I said I may have lost my-- the clerk cheerily responded with Yes, we have it.Whether this speaks to the honesty of the person who found it or to the employees (or both), its a wonderful feeling of relief and joy that I will now forever associate with this store. There is hope yet for our crazy world.Oh, and the Circus Peanuts were in stock #fabulous!

Mary is the most amazing pharmacist! She went above and beyond to fix and fill a complicated order. The pharmacy was very busy with many people calling and she was all alone, yet she was so calm, patient and kind! Shes absolutely excellent!

This my best choice in the city pharmacy! Their workers are just so accommodating and they are always going to help you! It deserves this drug stores praise!

This is the WORST pharmacy Ive ever been to.I went when its empty, and the pharmacist kept me waiting in line, even though there was no one there for 20 minutes. Eventually, I walked up and said, Excuse me, can I please fill out a prescription. Then she told me there was a problem with my insurance, and asked me to call them.While I was on the phone, the pharmacist LEFT for the day!To top it off, my insurance said there wasnt a problem. The next pharmacy filled my prescription in 5 minutes.The actual store is big and seems pretty empty. But Ill be avoiding the pharmacy at all costs.

Pharmacy Department is highly unprofessional and unkind.

My father’s Prescriptions went to this Rite Aid. He asked if he could use the restroom, they told him to go to the Target across the street. When someone asks to use a public restroom it’s because it’s an emergency. We had his prescription sent to the CVS at Target where there is access to a restroom and the pharmacists are very nice.

After being told “my bag was to big for the store” I got chased outside by an associate and manger. Forcing me to illegally check my bag. For stealing off the empty shelves. If anyone is stealing it’s Rite aid being so overpriced. Absolutely embarrassing degrading but they will be “retraining” the employee’s watch out. It’s a gamble with your morals and possibly a chance of being arrested for false claims.Btw nothing was posted nor did anyone address the bag issue when I walked in the door.SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!

My first bad review so far.Bad place.Rude staff.I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you have time, go somewhere else to shop.There’s always something bad happens, cops are always there.

We have used many of the West Hollywood Pharmacies and quite honestly we moved to Rite aid because our previous pharmacy did not renew their arrangement with our insurer. It was one of the more fortunate experiences that we have been pleasantly surprised to have made. I cannot single anyone out because everyone has been so totally pleasant and commited to serving us as friends and patients that we consider ourselves very lucky to have our Rite Aid team so close to where we live in West Hollywood near La Brea Avenue. I do not typically write these kinds of notes but I felt compelled to do so since i believe that we have now interacted with all of the staff and we seem to obtain the best of both worlds- the clout of a major chain and the feeling of service from a small local pharmacy. Special thanks to Ike as the chief pharmacist (as I understand it) but really we dont want to leave anyone out as they have all been kind and understanding and deserve recognition.Thank you, all.Best regards,The Ross Family

Cashier staff is very good and friendly, but the store has a pretty blatant policy of profiling (following) and monitoring (checking bags/ standing by register/ and in one almost laughable case, bolting from out of nowhere as if ordered) patrons of color. In my particular instance, even the woman behind the counter protested that she had just loaded and handed me the bag the dubious-looking security person sought to check. Not returning and using social media to tell everyone I know not patronize.If youre ethnic and have a sense of humor about this sort of thing, you might get a kick out of shopping there just to watch what kind of Keystone Cops level antics they engage in just to keep an eye on you.

- Updated: I just witnessed what one of the cashiers went through with a #violent #homeless guy and I fear for them, for us as shoppers. I cant use that #pharmacy its scary. Please help your workers! That helps your #customers with #RiteAid accounts and buying power. #Corporate you need actually work. I never see you visit this store.Prices are a little high but good pharmacy and they have fresh food, cosmetics and essentials.

This Pharmacy is shameful. They lied to my mother regarding their ability to fill a prescription... forgetting that they filled it the prior month. Soheylia informed my mother that they do not treat their white clients the same as their black ones after my mother complained that she felt a racist twinge to her treatment. Belinda ( who remained polite ) informed us that they do not service prescriptions in which a doctor is not local ( this doctor is local) I asked where I could find that in writing she stated I am just following my manager. My mother did contact corporate and was able to get her prescription filled. This was a nasty and humiliating experience. Please provide better HONEST service.

This location has some of the friendliest Rite-Aid employees Ive ever had the pleasure of interacting with... with one exception and Ill leave her nameless out of respect.Im happy to have the store in my neighborhood.

Great remodel! very neat and clean. they have a very helpful staff. they waste no time in opening more than one register if theres a long line. ice cream is nice and clean there might be a bit of a wait before someone shows up. very friendly store manager and managers in general.why cant more stores be like this one?

Julio helped me he was talking very sarcastic to me and I got the impression he was talking to me like I was from the street. I didnt put my ATM card in the right slot by mistake he asked me can I read? When I asked if I could put another denomination for cash back he said no you have to spend money to get money. The lady at the ice cream is very friendly but I ordered a colossal dip and every time Ive ordered one I got three scoops she said it comes with two scoops but she was going to give me a free one. I dont come to this location a lot cuz I dont live around here but when Im in the area I do come here a lot and I was pissed the lady the ice cream was okay but Julio at the register and I was not happy at all

This is the worst! What a HORRIBLE Rite Aid! I was in the area and wanted to fill my daughters prescription. I called to fill the perscription and was on hold for 40 min!!!!!!! I then hung up since I already arrived. When I got to the counter they couldnt find my daughters information or any prescriptions. THEN they told me they dont even have that medication. I immediately called my rite aid. They had the prescription ready and waiting in 30min. This place is a JOKE!

This store needs a remodel. I know its not the best neighborhood, but, hey Target is across the street and its a nice store. If you need only one or two things, then go here. If you need alot of stuff, youll save a lot by going to target.

I called to get two of my prescriptions refilled at 11am on Sunday 7/15. I usually call and speak directly to the pharmacist but I thought Id keep up with the times and use the automated system available. Since my medications were refills, it was rather easy to do, and I was informed that my meds would be ready by 1:15pm and by 1:30pm that day.I walked into the Rite Aid pharmacy on La Brea at 1:40pm to pick them up. I walked up to the pharmacist and did the standard Hi, how are you? Im here to pick up.... Natalie, the pharmacist, replied, without looking up, Oh yea, they are wrong so Im going to have to redo them, and she then proceeded to ask me how I take my medication. Her tone was off-putting from the get go, but I proceeded to tell her regardless.Natalies tone was very unpleasant and had a sense of prejudice, but I said nothing, and continued to wait for my medication.Natalie then proceeded to take a call, and to then take another customer. I had to leave no later than 2pm, so after 15 mins of quietly waiting, I decided to let her know that I was in a rush by asking about the wait time. I started of super polite, Im sorry to bother you, but how much longer will it be? Im in a rush and have to leave soon. She responded in a short, careless tone 20 mins.And at this point, I was obviously taken aback...If its going to take that long, why would you take other customers in front of me? Why wouldnt that be something you disclose right away? And more importantly, what are you even doing? The medication is a REFILL! One that I have picked up before, at the same Rite Aid with absolutely no problem. I also had to simply leave by 2pm and was supposed to have the meds ready by 1:30 ( no one called to tell me they would be delayed/ not available as told).I tried to clarify the problem by asking Natalie these questions at which point she proceeded to ignore me and call a manager, and to then call security (neither of which even came by).Natalies hostility and unprofessional behavior was shocking but I had to leave. Upon doing so, I let Natalie know that I had a personal matter that I had to be at by 3pm and that I would be back ASAP.I went home, rushed to get ready and came back at 2:30 to pick up my meds.I walked up to the pharmacy and it was CLOSED! With a sign that said, will reopen at 3:07. This is definitely where my body went into a defensive shock. I shouldnt have to disclose this information but I take these meds daily for my well-being and I also had to technically leave right away to be on time for my appointment, so needless to say I had to wait, helpless in all of my outrage.I found the manager of the store right away who seemed to have zero grasp of the situation. Yea he calmly said she should of let you know she was going to leave. You think? This manager had no way to get in contact with the pharmacist and treated the situation with complete indifference.Lets quickly recount the situation:My meds should have been ready by 1:30pm. These meds have been refilled at the same pharmacy with NO problem. Natalie, the pharmacist, did not only speak to me with personal prejudice but made no effort to have my medication ready for me as needed, and she then LEFT on her break when I came back to pick them up, and left me waiting for 40 mins, making me very late. And I had to take these medications that days so unfortunately, coming back a different day wasnt an option. I was left feeling extremely helpless at the mercy of a very apathetic human being who should not be allowed to work in her profession.Picking up medication is a very personal, often vulnerable situation. A pharmacist should offer some sort of hospitality and a feeling of comfort and safety... or at least professionalism and simple decency.Ive visited this particular Rite Aid many times before and every other pharmacist there had been very helpful and kind.So all in all, make your own judgements but I would avoid getting any prescription filled with this person.

If you take medications regularly and need them on time and like to be treated with respect, take your business to another pharmacy. This place is a disgrace.
