BEST place in LA for your hair needs! I see Jacob Sirianno, former NYC & Miami stylist and colorist- his work is truly an art. I skip to the bathroom mirror after my appointments with him. He takes his time and it shows, the results are natural and they LAST.10/10 highly recommend!

Ordered hair products online and they were shipped promptly and very well packaged. They even included a free sample, which was a great extra! Will def be using them again soon

This salon is at the forefront of beauty and sustainability. Truly a special space on the Sunset Strip in the heart of West Hollywood. A combination of tall ceilings, massive windows, earthy and minimalist decor. They carry sustainable and non-toxic products that work superbly for most hair types. All materials used are recycled properly and even the hair is collected and sent to be made into pillows which absorb oil from oil spills!Sunset Plaza Salon is the confluence of eco-friendly and flawless hair!

I am so disappointed. I went here right before my photo shoot, and they sabotaged my hair. I cannot recommend them.I was referred to them by a good friend and went in for simple cut,curl, and color. The entire time I was there a woman with a think British accent was moaning and groaning the entire time, All the while the woman was butchering my bangs. Stay away, far away.

The end result was fantastic makeup and classic old Hollywood waves, I was very pleased with the services. The makeup and hair both photographed beautifully. The salon was clean and very classy.

Sunset Plaza Salon is one of the best salons in Los Angeles. The service is stellar and, of course, you get your moneys worth even though its pricier compared to other establishments.

Love everything about it, friendly atmosphere, skilled stylist + ethical, organic, non-toxic hair products!

Im blessed to enjoy a very abnormal routine that affords me the regular occasion to fly around the world enjoying magical little gems. I had expectations this salon would be one of them; it was. My stylists vibe was on. point. As importantly, he got my vibe, as did the stylists helping my girls.3 very weary rovers (1 American and 2 Kiwis) left grateful for the love and kindness the staff showed to us. And the trust. Because, having (literally) just landed from New Zealand we didnt have American dollars nor Venmo. But they knew wed come back the next day to repay their kindness properly! I look forward to seeing Adrian and the rest of Shays team again.

I took my first trip this past week, looking for a new barbor... stylist... I dunno, someone to cut my hair. I met Louise, one of the owners, at the front desk. With a smile, she greeted me and introduced me to Shay who sat me down and asked what I was looking for. I had been seeing the same stylbor (sorry, bad joke) for a while and was in the mood for something a little different. Shay did not disappoint. I left feeling great and not only was the conversation good, but both Shay and Louise treated me well. I will continue to come here and would encourage you to do the same. Also, theres parking in the back... so, ya know, win win.

Excellent service and competent stylish European style haircut by Shay with a scissor. Good to talk about fashion, children, family and travel.

Louise is brilliant at setting forth her vision and creating an inspiration evoking environment that is both energizing and tranquil... from the decor, to the candles, the vibey music selection, all the way down to the natural hair products that smell soooo amazing!Shay Dempsey genuinely considered my needs and lifestyle to give me a cut and color that I can really live in. My long hair that was once -quite literally- weighing me down, now feels alive and vibrant. Before I came here my blonde highlights were yellow and brassy looking...but the light ash color he gave me is so natural and complimentary to my fair skintone, it looks like I was born with it ;) Also they use a gentle nature-based hair color that did not affect my sensitive eyes or nose at all. Shay is truly an artist. I was so mesmerized by his technique that I barely took my eyes off the mirror! Whether I decide to style it or simply wash and go in the morning throughout the day I feel happy and confident about my locks, which is priceless in my opinion.Another way this place resonates with my heart is through their commitment to sustainability. During my session I was informed that my hair that ended up on the floor would be donated to an organization that repurposes hair scraps (that would usually be thrown away) to clean up oil spills, and help clean storm drains and major waterways. They also have a station where you can purchase their amazing organic product with an option to bring your own refill bottle. Yay for saving the environment! I really appreciate them setting an example for other salons to do better.Overall an amazing experience and I cannot wait to come back again!

Bad color, cut and management lied.Not related to Sassoon anymore the salon is managed by someone else according to Travis.Travis was my colorist and stylist. I told him not to cut my grown out bangs and length beyond a trim. He gave me bangs and cut inches and layered my hair.I asked for a darker hair color but not black. He made my hair black.I had an event that night. It took 3 1/2 hours there. He gave me a bad blow dry too! Trifecta!I called the manager the next day to complain to avoid this review. He offered a partial refund of my $300. I never received anything!I had my hair bleached somewhere else to get the black out.
