The worst experience I have ever had. What a rude person. This lady was so rude that shock can not describe it. She told us to leave a store because my mother said hello (not even how are you) to a customer that just walked in. She yelled at us because the store capacity was 4 people (there was 3 of us in the store). While NOT wearing a mask herself, she verbally asaulted 3 customers. There are plenty of good stores on that street, go to any other one and you will have an amazing experience. Spare yourself this horrible woman.
This was a very nice place to discover. They have a great little freshly prepared deli/bakery/market with all types of dishes that are unique to Russian cuisine. Freshly prepared sides and ready to eat dishes. Very helpful staff and very reasonable prices to boot! I highly recommend making a special visit here to the West Hollywood location. They will not disappoint!
The best deli in Los Ángeles! Actually located in West Hollywood and has great food, great prices - the borscht, the piroshki, and all the food is fantastic and prices are amazingly low - you can buy rice, buckwheat, lentils, canned food and fresh veggies, everything!!! They also sell masks and disinfectants - one stop shop!!!
The food here is tremendous. They have authentic chicken soup with huge globules of fat and piles of herbs, amazing smoked fish meatballs stuffed cabbage. it has amazing food and a little seating area in the front for lunch. A true Los Angeles gem.
We came from New York Brooklyn, and we could find Russian store in Los Angeles, first we got in New York delicatessen, the best Russian products in Los Los Angeles, they have all soups, salads very nice people owner and his wife they making all food on their kitchen (its very clean) Cheap prices and very good quality of the food, so tasty! Thanks a lot, we are very happy that we know your place, we are not going nowhere!!! ❤️❤️❤️🎗🎗🎗🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
Right place to get Russian groceries. Its not as busy and crowded as Odessa across the street and they still have everything you are missing from Mother Russia. When I have time, Id go to Odessa to listen to Russian songs, stay in line, get some Russian service. When Im in a hurry and just want to get what I want asap - Ill go to NY Delicatessen.
Fantastic food. Anything behind the counter will be delicious.
Authentic Russian food! There, you can find dairy, plant based medicine, some fruit & veggies, fresh deli food from pirojki to salad Olivye... Also a large variety of cookies and prianiki! Its usually easy to park on the nearby streets (Genesee Ave. Or Ogden Dr.).
Its ok for a quick hop
Terrible people
Fermented Olivier! Even the lid was swollen, sour peas! I won’t come again. Prices are higher for some products than in other places. Therefore, you have few people. Think it over.
