My wife had some shrapnel in her passenger rear tire on Friday. Weve been so busy couldnt get to it. I tried one place, they said they couldnt do anything until Monday. Finally on Sunday I called Walmart. They said bring it in first come first serve. I quickly brought it over. They were very courteous in asking about the issue. I was told half an hour to an hour. We left, they texted to let me know it was ready a little over an hour later. Well done job!

The employees working back at the auto care center were nice and very helpful. The price is always competitive, and you get what you paid for. I have never had an issue at this location. I would rate five stars if the wait was a little shorter. Still, always plan a shopping trip to maximize your time!

Should have listened to the negative reviews on Google. Totally incompetent and pathetic service. Was told a fuel injection cleaning and oil change would take 30-40 minutes. An hour later three techs were standing around the vehicle goofing off and talking. They hadnt began the fuel injection cleaning and hadnt done the oil change. Take your money and vehicle elsewhere.

Takes a really long time to get an oil change some days but other days, its a reasonable amount of time. The new techs have been bad about resetting some of the measurements in the cars Ive taken there (2 this month).

Got a flat tire and had $10 road hazard warranty and got a new tire. They found two razor blades at a strange angle in my tire and being a young woman in college, the mechanics explained they were concerned about it being purposely done. They made sure I lived in a safe place, asked if anyone was mad at me, asked me to park in a new spot at my apartment, and gave me tips on being extra safe and hoped it was I was just unlucky and ran over them randomly. They were so caring and nice about it and concerned for my safety, I really appreciated it!

I visited it twice for flat tire repair. The tire was never repared😭

Worst experience ever. Do not EVER come to this place. I had my car battery replaced here a month ago, and about two weeks later the car suddenly died, so I took it to the repair shop and they told me it’s the alternator, I have to spent $800 to replace a new alternator. But the problem didn’t disappear, it happened again two weeks later, and it turned out because when Walmart replaced my car battery, they forgot to tighten the charging cable connecting the battery, that’s why the battery died. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I regret coming to this place just because they are cheap!

I highly recommend this place for fixing tire issues. I came here twice for flat tires, and they always narrowed down the root cause, provided the professional advice, and helped fix it. Staffs here are friendly and patient to explain what happens to your cars.

They tried to put my lug nuts back on with an impact gun and cross threaded one. They said sorry and said they would put on a new lug but it is not the same size shape or even color. Next time I will get tires from a place that knows you have to hand start a lug nut.

We were extremely impressed with how quickly they got our car in and done. We had a very different experience at a different location.

They are fast, inexpensive, and reliable. Ive never had any problems here.Edit: I had them restore my headlights, and Im absolutely delighted with what they did. My headlights look new, and I have probably 5 times more light. Have your headlights become dull and foggy? Go to Walmart auto care today!

They told me it would take an hour and a half to patch two tires, I waited for over two hours and asked about the status. They said it should be in the garage now, and they had something more important come up so thats why it was taking longer. I ended up waiting for more than three hours for them to work on my car. I wish they would have told me when they found out it was going to take longer than an hour and a half, because then I would have left.Staff are nice, I just want better communication.

Its great for the simple stuff. I come for oil changes, bulb replacement, etc. The wait time is a little much but if you plan it right you can come when its not too bad. I would just plan a shopping trip if wanting to get any car work done. They are pretty cheap on almost everything and warranty all work

Very courteous employees. Took the time to show me the puncture in my tire and explain thoroughly about the procedure for buying only a couple of tires. They were right on schedule.Also, as my tire was beyond flat one of the employees gave me his personal 4-way as mine was not in the car

First I have to state that I am a M3 owner, normally dont go to WAlmart for a oil change. But this Auto Care center is different. Service manager Jeremy and technician Matt are very kind and knowledgeable, they fixed my oil drain plug leaks which was my headache for the past year or so. Highly recommend this place is you need some work done on ur car!

Do a good job. Gone to them for years. Be prepared to drop your car off, which is a nuisance because it involves someone transporting you. They always tell you it will take an 1.5 to 2 hrs before your car is ready. Have to request them to vacuum the floors in the vehicle, which is supposed to be standard service, or it wont get done. Often dont have enough technicians working. Thats why the wait is so long.

It is my third time trying to do something there. First and second time, they said it was too late to get a client. It was 6:10 and they close at 7pm. Now, they said it would take 3 hours only to check my tire. Unfortunately, they dont need clients. I wont come back.

Clarence, Dennis and one other guy there were excellent. I brought in my spare car, which was really shabby, to have two tires replaced. I forgot that I had replaced the old lug-nuts with news ones that required a key! I was so afraid that Id have to go home and come back but a third guy found the lug-nut key in my car within seconds! Dennis and Clarence were able to accommodate my cars special needs. These were top-notch mechanics and really saved us in a tight situation. They even remembered to put the lug-nut key back in the car. So tomorrow, well will have a safe car for the re-certification training my girlfriend must attend!

The technicians are responsible and experienced. However, the Greeter has a very bad attitude. It was my first time to the Walmart auto care center and I have no idea what to do. So she appeared very impatient to me. She never explained to me what she was going to do with my car after she grabbed my key and what I should do next.

Might be somewhere to get your work down in a reasonable price, but dont expect or believe their diagnostics. Youd better have the idea which part or what kind of service you need exactly before you go there.

Got a tire running low pressure, came in 640pm, very close to their close time, but they saved my ass that day. Professional work, fast and cheap, staff are friendly. Recommend

You have to go in early in the morning if you dont want to wait 2+hours. They do the job I guess, but the staff is rude every time no matter how many times I come in. UPDATE: the staff just laughed at me.

Horrible!! The first 2 times I tried to take my car here for an oil change the wait time was ridiculous (2hrs and 3hrs). Last week I decided to give it another shot and the wait was an hr and a half so I decided to wait. I was there an hr and 45 mins before they decided to tell me my vehicle only takes synthetic oil which is bs! I have never had synthetic oil in my car. The lady asked if I had a sticker from the last place and I said yes, she went and checked, came back and told me my car didnt come in with a sticker, which wasnt true. She accused me of lying about the sticker. At this point I was heated and left. Poor customer service, they couldve told me they can only put synthetic oil in before making me waste 2 hrs of my time and then to accuse a customer of lying about something so stupid. I will never go back to the auto service at the West Lafayette Walmart!!

Cheap fast n easy

I called and asked the cost and if it was possible to do an oil change today. The person on the phone said yes, so I drove to the store. Only to find out I could not have one done because apparently theyre full. Unprofessional.

2 hours to mount and install 2 tires. No one in front of us. Pathatic. Slow as molases in January.
