Not a bad location. Typically clean, and some of the employees are helpful and nice. Others are helpful but not as friendly. Overall I like the store and would recommend over other nearby locations easily.

Parents be aware, the baby formula Walmart sells might be expired. I purchased the similar formula on 9/15, and they’ve been expired for 6months. I’ve already feed some to my new born, hopefully there’s no real damage made. Will always check now, never again.

Good place to look around or find a few specific items you need. The cashier was not very friendly and seemed like they had worked a long day. I doubt theyre being paid enough to stand for hours. I dont expect any more from a corporate store of such notoriety. I wish the employees well.

First time in walmart. I came from Singapore. Walmart is AWESOME. They have everything. Where else can you get cute baby yoda tshirt for $5.98; good looking watch at $8.88; and beautiful stickers at $0.97? My watch from olivia burton looked 99% similar, cost almost $200 singapore dollars and spoiled within months. My crocs in singapore cost $74.90!? It had charms but the plain ones were already $59.95.

Justin in the automotive shop was so wonderful. I had just arrived in town from Milwaukee and my car sounded horrible. It needed oil badly. He helped find the correct oil for me and put it in for me, too. It took a long time because we had to keep buying and adding oil. I needed 4 quarts. He was patient and knowledgeable. It is nice to see hard working and kind employees! Justin should be considered a valued Walmart employee! Thank you, Justin!

Was pleasantly surprised to see the Mamava lactation pod in the back of the store (near shoes/restrooms). Great to have some privacy for pumping or even minimize distractions for feeding.

Okay, I’m editing this review to add: why is this formerly 24 hour location still closing at 10pm? We’ve known for a long time now that COVID-19 is spread almost exclusively through breathing exhalations of infected individuals in close-contact, like the virus can’t survive outside of the body for any significant amount of time so sanitizing and all that is totally unnecessary. Wasn’t that why all these stores reduced their hours to begin with—to allow for time to sanitize the store? Well, that’s not an issue any more and hasn’t been for months so what’s the deal? I mean I sympathize with Walmart employees, I’m sure it’s terrible in general and especially these days, but I really don’t get it. If someone from Walmart is reading this (and I know you do sometimes) can you let me know why you’re still closing so early?I’m sure I reviewed this store before but google is asking me to review it again. Well, it’s worse. I thought they were changing the layout to create larger aisles to accommodate social distancing, but that’s clearly not the case. They just decided to do a major reorganization and remodel just as students were arriving for the semester. Great planning. Their app is terrible – what it says is in stock is completely unrelated to what is actually in stock, making it worthless. I visited the eye center an hour after it was supposed to have opened and they were just setting up. I ended up having to make an appointment to come back an hour later because someone else had an appointment for that time, which by that point they were 15 minutes late for. Plus there were at least three employees and no customers other than me, either time I visited. Oh, and the other day I accidentally kept shopping 20 minutes after they closed because they never announced it or anything. There were out of uniform employees still shopping, registers open, and the doors weren’t even locked. I wouldn’t have even known if an employee hadn’t asked me what department I worked in. They didn’t really seem to care, either. What a bizarre place.

Refused to sell me alcohol when I was of age. Had my valid Indiana ID on my person. Cashier thought I was with someone underage and wouldnt believe me that I could be sold to. I get it. This is a college town. Doesnt mean that Im not of age. I refuse to shop at any Walmart on the regular since college and will only go there if things are absolutely dire. After how the cashier treated me, I absolutely would not. I work in a place that regularly sells alcohol and their store policy is actually not consistent with current Indiana law and the fact that I ran into someone I knew and spoke with them a few minutes before trying to go thru the checkout with a full cart of groceries including alcohol but then they wanted to look for the person I spoke to and ID them?! Ridiculous! I shopped at Payless the rest of my college career which was longer considering I got a doctorate.

Walmart has a lot of cheaper price ingredients I need for daily life. Great place to go. Just the Walmart delivery sometimes not so on time.

Pick up took 40 mins. Why have it if you cant run it properly?

Their self checkout machines kept malfunctioning and the associate was rude, telling my partner that he didnt scan an item instead of actually helping to get the register working properly. The item isnt scanned because YOUR machine isnt working. My partner decided to get less items since the machine kept malfunctioning after a number of scans. In the process, he accidentally dropped his bags. Apparently, thats making a scene and they banned him. Corporate has been called and they are investigating. Its interesting that you can be banned from being understandably frustrated from malfunctioning machines and rude associates not doing their job.

Walmart is the first store I visited after coming to USA, It is a hub of every necessities a person can ask for and too at an affordable price. I personally prefer the West Lafayette Walmart. Staffs are also awesome.

Did not have cleaning item what I was looking for. Neither did 2 other places. Overhead signs directing to some sectors location inaccurate or outdated.

I like my local Super Walmart. Its a one stop shop for me on most goods I need. Always a pleasant experience to shop there.

Most school supplies were very easy to find! Negative parts was trying to find shoes for 9 year old son, lots of girl shoes but not as many in stock for boys.

I prefer West Lafayettes Walmart to the Lafayette location, because of the people that come in and the selection to choose from. Theyre targeting a different demographic (college town students and employees). Not a bad place to shop and the pharmacists/techs are really nice!

Whatever you do, dont go to the sporting goods counter and expect help. Been living here for years and the wait times for help at the sporting goods counter only increase and increase. Used to be around 5 minutes, but the last time was close to 25 minutes. That amount of time is ridiculous! Its like theyre hoping you will just forget and leave 😂 Also closes at like 11pm? Whats that all about? Used to be a 24 hour store and before it was a Super Center it closed around that time. Pretty odd changes, as it is now way less convenient. The items in stock online dont correspond to whats in store, so theres no way to check without wasting your time and actually showing up, after which you may waste 25 minutes waiting for an associate to show up 🤡

Not my favorite store as the produce department lacks quality, but I go there about once every six months to get a few products that are cheaper.

Made to feel like they were doing me a favor by finding an item. Everyone was busy stocking or eating and seemed irritated that I wanted help finding something. Went to three different people. Finally, I got a snarky stocker to show me where it was, who didn’t mind telling me that the previous associate had said the same location. I don’t need you to tell me I’m incompetent finding things in Walmart. I’m the guy who’s been looking for 45”. Just help me and go back to your granola bar.The star is for actually having the items.

Answer your phone. The phone will ring for 5 minuets before automatically hanging up the line. If I press 0 for customer service no one will answer. I tried customer service four times two days in a row, so 40 minuets of the phone ringing and no answer. When I clicked electronics, they answered. The customer service staff need fired or moved to another location..... Day 3 of trying to get a hold of someone. Progress has been made. Someone answered my call and immediately put me on hold. Ive been on hold for 29 minutes soo far. That is absolutely fantastic customer service.

My wife and I like to shop at WM because of the large selection of merchandise. However it is a very big store and I am 80 years old. I am not truly handicapped but I just cant walk with an ordinary cart for the time it takes to to do a monthly shopping trip there. WM has a couple motorized carts but not enough for the number of elderly folks. And most of them have worn out batteries that wont run for a shopping trip longer than 45 minutes. Im sure the managers have many pressing issues to face in this pandemic but they need to double the number of carts and put new batteries in the old ones. I am retired Electrical engineer so I think I have knowledge of battery performance.Its frustrating to spend over $150 shopping every trip and have to deal with the worn out motorized carts.The nice employees try to help me but their choices are limited.

Its Walmart, theres not a lot to say here.

They have a wide selection of items at great prices. Their pickup option where they deliver to your car in the parking lot works like clockwork. One minor gripe is that they sometime run out of the item that I have ordered just a day earlier. When they give a comparable replacement it is still fine but in a few cases they do not provide a replacement. That is the negative. But overall a good place to shop safely for essentials.

Literally the best Walmart in town I only go to the west side Walmart anymore because they always keep it stocked up and I never have any issues of them not having something in stock the Walmart on 350 in Lafayette Indiana and on 26 in Lafayette Indiana are always out of stock of things this definitely needs to be looked at but I highly suggest from now on to go to the West side Walmart

This is one busy Walmart. Purdue is going into session so there were lots of students, but the place just seemed overrun and not well organized. It was quite dirty and seemed under staffed.

Purchased a item via the online Walmart app that said there was 11 in stock of the item I purchased for pick up. Went to store to pick up and was told they were out of stock and cant be refunded for 7 days. Not happy with how this app dont stay updated. Had to drive 14 miles to pick up a item to be told they didnt have it.

Like most Walmarts this place was a wreck, we were constantly reminded an hour and a half in advance that the store closed at 11 and then every 15 minutes after that, none of the self checkout machines took cash, the store was unorganized and the staff was cold and unfriendly.

Not a lot to be said about Walmarts in general, but this one does have an impressive selection of Japanese snacks (for an American supermarket in Indiana). I got shrimp chips, sweetened rice crackers, Hello Panda candy, the vending machine style canned pineapple juice, and cola and ramone soda candies. They had plenty of noodles and Pocky choices too. Also cool was the Galaga arcade game machine displayed in the electronics section.

Poor customer service. Hung up on by auto motive, then hung up on by the manager. Just needed to get the price on a battery. Will not be returning to this walmart.To be fair though, the manager only hung up after I suggested automotive was having a circle jerk instead of answering the phones. He must have been in a hurry to get back there before he missed out.

Arrived 40 minutes into our hour wait time to give plenty of time for our order to be filled for pick up. Appears that only one teenaged boy is working pickup. Have called the number posted 12 times with no answer. Called the other pickup line to be told to call the first one. Called to speak to an associate who was less than helpful. Called again to speak to a manager. Was routed to the automotive manager who has “no idea” why any of this would be occurring. Said she would go figure out what’s happening. This is AFTER getting confirmation that our order was ready at 4:53pm for a pickup window of 5-6pm. So, I’m wondering: if I go in and get my own damn groceries, do I get employee benefits too? Maybe I should answer the phone, too. This only has two stars because of the poor kid that’s trying to make this work. He’ll probably quit from being overworked soon...

The store was fine. The vision center however found us to be invisible. When I did make contact, they were rude and made me feel like I was intruding, and there was no others customers there. I will never go back in the vision center. Perhaps a new lessee would be more customer oriented.
