Purchased a new LG fridge over email. Price couldnt be beat anywhere. Wes, the manager, was very helpful with lining up their curbside delivery within their delivery range to CT. I was a little nervous at first with some of the other reviews but everything panned out. There was a small issue with their truck hitting a clothes line but it was needing replacement soon anyway--Just something to keep in mind if your area is height limited for delivery. Truck is taller than it appears. All in all Id definitely recommend them.
Wonderful experience! Had my washing machine to me the next business day! Great customer service and you actually get a live human that answers the phone! Was apprehensive at first to order online via the website being its a smaller company. I am glad I did. Will definitely use Nordam again in the future.

All good! I was a bit skeptical because their price on the A/C unit was more than a full $100 less than anyone else, including Home Depot (I found them by using Google search and clicking on shopping and comparing prices from multiple stores). And the price included free delivery - as well as no tax to NY (theyre in NJ). Note: free delivery is curbside, and Im in a 4th floor walkup. For $125 inside delivery I figured Id manage to haul it upstairs, and I did. By myself. There were enough really positive reviews I felt confident. In the end there was no reason to worry, online purchase was seamless, they called me to set up delivery, which happened on the day, and during the window we scheduled. And I saved an additional 4 percent by paying cash. No complaints here! I also notice they take the time to respond to the few negative reviews, which is admirable

I had a good experience purchasing with Nordam and scheduling deliveries. We had a complicated situation where we had multiple orders and needed appliances held until we could move into our new apartment and receive them. Wesely was accommodating and kind through the experience.If theres one thing that didnt go well, the appliance delivery crew was rough with the appliances and our home. One of the members of the crew nearly ran me over with our new range as I tried to move a box out of the way, and this person also nearly busted our baseboards and cabinet trim trying to force a refrigerator into an opening.

I bought a GE electric glass top stove for my airbnb. Wes the owner delivered it and installed it . The glass top was damaged. I called one week after delivery and Wesbasked me who used it. What the hell is the difference who used it. There is a cosmetic issue with it. Both GE consumer affairs and Nordham appliances did nothing. GE said the stove functionally works, its just a cosmetic issue. Are you kidding me. I would have would a scratch and dent if I wanted a stove that had cosmetic issues.Dont buy GE appliances. Costumer service stinks!!!!!!!!!

I was in search of a chest freezer for my home. I came across this website and was happy to see that they had the exact freezer I wanted!They offer great prices and the option to pick up in store or have the item shipped. Friendly customer service. I will shop here again!This place seems to be a two-man operation so yes, you might not get through when you try calling but they do answer the phone when not on another call. I am very happy with my Frigidaire 5 cu ft chest freezer.

We purchased a product that we assumed was new. When it was delivered it was in plastic wrap so we did not doubt this. When we opened it up there were multiple scratches and scuffs inside and we had to request a refund. We received the refund without issue. To be fair this is a company that can offer great deals. They do not charge tax outside of Jersey and they match prices. However after reading other reviews my suggestion to management is to not have shady business practices and to give their customers the quality they promise them. Thanks
Legit company that sells brand new appliances at a huge discount. Plus they dont charge sales tax in NY and you can get a addtional 4% off if you pay cash. We saved hundreds of dollars!

My husband and I were looking for a 5cf ³ freezer for the longest time. We shopped everywhere in New York for a freezer and couldn’t find one. We found one on Nordam appliance website. It was delivered faster than expected. Price is really good. And it works beautifully. My husband and I are so happy and thankful that Wesley was such a great help .He was very patient with the four phone calls we made to him.
Dont order from here. They list products that are not in stock, make you wait forever only to tell you that order is cancelled. Surprisingly, its still listed with higher price. Dont use COVID as an excuse for everything.

I was nervous to order from Nordam because I hadnt heard of them and theyre kind of far from where I live, but I decided to trust the reviews here and take the risk because Nordam was the only place I could find an upright freezer in stock.I placed an order on May 4, which was supposed to be delivered on May 8, but when I called to confirm I was asked if May 9 would be okay. The one day change didnt make much of a difference to me considering that most other stores arent delivering freezers until late June and even early July. And lets face it, its not like I had anywhere else to be.Wesley and others who I spoke with at Nordam were friendly and patient. The delivery guys were friendly, patient and thorough, too.As for the freezer, its been in for less than a day but its shiny and new and seems to be running well.I would absolutely order from Nordam again. They had the best price and great service.
After some research, I found their prices the lowest. I just HAD TO drive there to see for myself! Also I wanted to pick up my air conditioner immediately.I found a packed warehouse, no showroom and a small office. The kind, intelligent & strong man who helped me was also answering the phones-nonstop. Just in time, his wife entered.This is a family operation that I could recommend 100%!
Terrible experience. Movers refused to install on 3rd floor so they claimed my door was not wide enough to pass. Lazy and incompetent is an understatement. Stay far away from this company.

We send an email and followed up but these folks never bothered to reply and then we called and an accented fellow answered and he was rude. So even before we put the order, these store showed an attitude so I dread to think how they will behave after the money is paid. Decided to not give them our business
Prices are ok, gave me a good price for a stove. Didnt decide to buy but was told its always in stock. Came back a few days later and price went up almost $100. Was told manufacturer dictates price....told him I understand price if he has to order but why not sell the one currently in stock at price we agreed on?....No response.Also, no extended warranty and no returns so be careful ppl, sometimes price is too good for a reason.Edit- First time coming to your shop, the hell am I supposed to know its holiday price?? You never mentioned it. And although I do admit your website says extended warranty, I only communicated over phone / in person and was told only manufacturer warranty with no return for this item...But looked up return policy anyways and gotta say, its a joke. Check this out folks :They reserve the right to refuse return if the item has been Used. And if the item is defective upon first use, you have to contact the manufacturer first....plus, once you sign for delivery, its totally your responsibility now. So unless you inspect each and every detail whilst the delivery driver is there, its your fault for not noticing good was damaged...Also, they refuse the return if a seasonal good...what type of appliance is a Seasonal good? I guess they dictate that...On the off chance they accept the return, theres a litany of fees:Restocking fee 20-30%Shipping/installation feeDiscounts taken back: so the $100 that was off? Not anymore.So good luck if you ever get a slight defect on an item from this scammer. Like I said, prices are decent for a reason....
UPDATE: 8-26-2020; After I was told by Avanti that there was nothing that could be done, on Tuesday 8-18-20 I received a call from a Tessa from C & T Appliance in the Orange and Montclair area, she said she was sending a technician to look at the freezer. Tessa also noted she was calling on behalf of Avanti. Technician was here on Saturday, 8-22 and said the unit was not repairable, that the company should be responsible and replace it and that someone would be reaching out to me. I called C & T again today 8-26 because as I expected no one contacted me. Now Tessa has an attitude and she said I need to contact the company where I purchased it to get the information on the warranty claim. I called Nordam Appliances 6 times today and no answer, they must have caller ID because what kind of business doesnt answer their phones. I cant believe I referred a friend to Nordam, NEVER AGAIN and please dont buy anything from Avanti! Is this company even legit? If anyone knows how I can proceed and take these issues forward, please reply or contact me to let me know. This is shameful.Very disappointing, I purchased an Avanti Chest freezer three weeks ago, I was so happy with it until I realized that once you close it, you have to wait almost an hour to open it up again so you better make sure you have everything you need before closing it. When I selected it I asked the salesperson what happens if something is wrong with it and he said just return it, well he lied. When I called him to ask about the problem, he said he never heard of this problem and that I should contact the manufacturer. I also looked at the back of the receipt and the receipt says all sales are final and of course that information wasnt told to me at any time. The manufacturer is Avanti after calling three times and getting a very rude person named Diana she said this was a common problem and there was nothing they could do about it and she was closing up the service request. So if this is a common problem why doesnt Nordam Appliance know about it? Unfortunately Im now stuck with a defective freezer, and no one wants to take responsibility, very disappointing!
Great price, great service. They had the fridge we were looking for 20% less than other stores. They were responsive to our questions, and the delivery team was terrific. I definitely recommend giving Nordam a look for appliances. It was refreshing to do business with a smaller company.

I never leave a review but this company deserves many 5 star reviews! My old LG washing machine I purchased in 2013 stopped draining water Monday night and desperately needed a new one. I reviewed hundreds of washing machines and finally figured out which one I wanted, the matag commercial washing machine. So Tuesday morning I did a google search and Nordam Appliance had it in stock and beat everyones price. So I looked up reviews for this company and decided to place my order. I received an email right away telling me someone will give me a call. A couple hours later I called them since I am impatient. The gentleman I spoke to told me that the washing machine will be delivered either that friday or the following Friday. So I prepared myself to be at the laundry matt all weekend doing laundry since I have 5 kids and laundry piles up fast! Well Thursday I got a call that it will be delivered Friday between 4-8pm. Friday at 6pm my new washing machine was delivered. I was not charged a delivery fee or sales tax. Nordam Appliance will forever have my business and I am referring them to everyone I know. I had my washing machine within 3 days of my order! I did not expect that with all thats going on with COVID and a lot of places taking longer to deliver items. I am so happy with my order and my washing machine works great!
This establishment deserves your business. Forget big box retailers. I purchased scratch and dent washing machine, dryer and a fridge. Had a problem with the dryer - defective part. (Not their fault) They came out right away and repaired it. Fridge was making funny noise, again they came out and repaired it. It Just needed a simple adjustment. If you have an issue you call and they take care of you ASAP. Good luck getting that level of service elsewhere.
Update: I was impressed with the follow though. 5 stars for Integrity! 6 months - 1 day and my dryer kicked it. I called, and after an extensive in home diagnostic, they replaced it for free. However, be aware, the show room is a bit awkward. I always feel like Im trespassing whenever I visit Nordam appliance, its like you walked into a private loading dock. Plenty of things in like new condition or very minor cosmetic scratches. They are also upfront about any missing pieces and damaged (but working) parts.

Ordered a small refrigerator Saturday morning at 10:00am. It arrived the next morning by 8:45am. It was mothers day to boot. It was also $60.00 cheaper than Lowes and included free shipping and no tax. Very impressed with Nordam.
These guys took back a fridge that wasnt working which was nice, but on the way out dented our car and denied it. When I went to show them the photos of their own guys doing the work, he refused to look at it. When I asked to see the fridge to see if our car paint was on it, he wouldnt let me and kicked me out. So now we have a $200 dent in our car...if he was so sure they didnt do it he would have let me see the fridge to confirm there wasnt our car paint on it.
It’s my first time buying from this store, I bought a dryer, it arrived with a little defect, called them, they told me it’s under the company warranty, I called the company(LG) they didn’t want to fix it for free, so I called back the store,they called a 3rd party appliance company who fixed it for me.Will definitely buy again from such a store that take so nice care of the costumers

Horrible order fulfillment practices. They change the terms of sale and delivery after the sale occurred. You are much better off going to home depot or lowes than these small fly by night operations.
