JR is very nice and professional; he really cares about his job and the customer satisfaction. Besides, he had my car ready earlier than expected. He also made sure I was going to like the color inviting me to see the mixture before painting. The result speaks by itself: bright and beautiful color; now my Mustang shines like a brand new car for a really good price. I wont hesitate to choose Maaco and JR again when I need another paint job.

I picked a color and they told me to take it outside to make sure it was what I wanted. It was so sunny it was blinding. I wanted a greyish color, when I went back to pick it up, it was brown, nothing about it was grey. Said that was not the color i wanted. He said it was; I said No it wasnt. I went In tears; they repainted it and got the color right. Only I didnt know I had to pay for 2 paint jobs. after 5 weeks I brought the vehicle home and noticed my brand new tint was torn in the back side window and over spray on the windows. Manager said to bring it in and they would take care of it and he could see the ripped tint. Took it back to get it cleaned up, but the manager was not there to show him the tint. The clean up guy said it was probably when the window rolled down the tint got caught on something in the window. (I dont think so). Brought the vehicle home only to find out a couple days later the back seat door handle behind the passenger side would not open from the inside AND the back window hatch will not hold up my window, plus paint on the back inside door. Is this all a coincidence? I dont know.

Last yr, my car was in rough shape with the paint. Lots of chipping and needed bonded in several areas. JR at the West palm beach location took good care of making sure the paint looked right. Because the hood needed to be sanded alot and bonded, they had to paint it again to get the hood to match the rest of the car. It turned out great. This yr I had a small area on my bumper that needed retouched. They did a great job. Besides a little wait due to malfunction of a machine at the shop, all was done terrific. I definitly recommend them!

Went to Maaco West Palm Beach (Church Street) for a new paint job and headlight restoration on my 2004 Toyota Solara. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Manny, JR, and staff were very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Worth every penny! Quick turnaround as well. Would 100% recommend for any paint work you need done on your vehicle.

Painting your car. I grew up believing this wasnt a necessary process when owning a car. If the paint faded usually meant-to me anyways, that you didnt take care of your car or it is time to buy a new one. But recently I bought a used car and unfortunately the dealership paid a unprofessional body shop to repair it. Within two years of owning the car the hoods paint faded, another year-plus side panel-it was rusting an shedding clear-coat like skin. The longer I waited the worse the situation got. The final straw was when some faceless person smashed into my car leaving a crater of a dent in its side. At that point I put aside old archaic thoughts and decided to check out local paint shops, and Ill tell you folks Ive heard some scary things. For example I had one shop ask me if i could take my after market rims off before i brought it in. Imagine that. Ive always been a review kind of person. I read thoroughly through reviews looking for common denominators that will help me choose a shop or purchase an item. Now Maaco has been around since I was a kid and eventually my search landed there with expectations of super high prices. I did my normal search parameters and discovered that the local business in west palm beach didnt have bad reviews and decided to check some places out. I first tried a three and a half star Maaco and they were professional and friendly. No complaints but i had my eye on the Maaco on 1934 Church Street West Palm Beach because of the four and half star reviews they had been receiving. And Ill tell you what-I am glad I did. First, the owner JR. knows the business and has been working there most of his life. Him and his staff are courteous, professional, and friendly. The kind of qualities you need now-a-days to put aside your fear when bringing you car to a shop. He honored the quote I had gotten from other Maaco no question ask. He sat with me patiently as we dreamed up colors for my vehicle with no extra cost. He showed me colors I have never seen on vehicles before, reading into my desire to be unique in the world of sport car ownership. JR stayed late forgoing getting home on time just to satisfy my curiosity. And when colors were chosen he placed them on panels and brought them out so I could really make a choice, telling me that, you have to be happy with your choice and we will be here until you are. well a few days past I picked out a unique blend of black and metallic red flakes and we were both pleased with the choice considering he and I had personally bonded in making my mustang beautiful again. Jr and his staff work feverishly and painted my car with my after market rims still on the vehicle safely i might add. Now this is where Jr shines, the first time I came to collect my black beauty, happier than you can imagine, Jr comes outside and tells me you cant have it cause Im not happy with it at all. He wanted to keep it longer and improve on what I assume was perfection. Already more than customer and retailer I truly trusted Jr at this time because everything he promised he did. The car look great, the rims where safe, what else could I say. I let him keep and he did what he said he was going to do, Jr and his Staff improved on perfection so much that I dont even want to drive the car fearing the unknown out there. I tell you folks if your in the market for auto body repairs, upgrades to your toys colors, then Jrs Maaco on Church street is where you should go. The atmosphere, the professionalism, the courteous staff and the stand up no adding on prices like some places do will put at you at ease. You will be treated the way customers should be treated. no hassles no lies. If mistakes are made JR takes care of it. I actually witness how easily he handled a few nitpick customers and watch as they left smiling on how they and their vehicles are treated. I included pictures of the car, originally ingot-silver and now Black with pearlescent red metallic flakes. Thank you Jr and staff. We shall see each other again

The owner was very patient and kind. Any little questions I had he was able to answer and very communicative did not have to wait long for him to call me back. We arrived and the next day he was able to work on the car.

My vehicle spent almost 4 weeks in the shop with no updates on the matter.I was in an accident, the process for the car to be repaired was extremely annoying. I was given your car will be done on this day when the day arrived I would call numerous of times and no answer. I would show up expecting my vehicle to be complete. Both times, it was the same excuse. “they sent us the wrong parts so we had to reorder itAfterwards, when I inspected the vehicle the surfac where the damage was. It looked pretty good but when I looked underneath the fender the hard plastic isnt there. The plastic is still in the trunk, its apart of the fender. So its literally open space in that area. I consider the job wasnt complete.The reason I give 2 stars is that the paint job was really well done. I understand that the shop was busy, but even if I had an insurance covered rental. I would have liked a quick update call on how things are going on my vehicle. Definitely didnt help when I show up expecting to pick up my car and told its not done, wrong parts were ordered in person. An update would have helped a lot.I spoke to a coworker about my time here and hes gone through the exact same process.

I went to the Church street Maaco. The manager, J.R. Was excellent. They did an excellent job painting my truck. Good communication and attention to detail. Took care of all my concerns and adjustments. I am very pleased with the price, service and results- the truck looks great!

This place is a joke!!!! State law very clearly says that if there is no signed repair order you can not charge anyone for anything done to there vehicle... including storage if brought by a tow truck. No posted storage rates and timeliness for storage charges starting. Very unprofessional unknowledgeable staff. If I could leave a zero star review I would!!!

This shop couldnt care less about their customers satisfaction. I chose this place blindly as I was new to the area because the customer reviews appeared to suggest that it was a good quality shop that would take the necessary measures to make their customers cars look as good as new. However, I would not be surprised to discover if the positive reviews were authored by the employees of the shop. My car was involved in a minor fender bender and one quarter panel was needed repainted. It is readily apparent that the area painted is about a shade or two darker than the rest of the vehicle. After realizing it was not quite a match, I kindly requested they fade it to match the rest of the vehicle. I had previously had this same car painted after a rock from interstate hit my vehicle while commuting to college so I knew a match could be obtained. Begrudgingly, they fixed it but when I picked up the car again, nothing had changed. Rather, they had simply held my car for a little less than a week and hoped I wouldnt notice. Unfortunately for them, I did. I will likely have to take my car into a better quality shop to get repainted. I am considering suing them for my money back to put into another shop to repaint my vehicle. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who takes pride in their vehicle.

I had my Lexus ES350 painted and was pleasantly surprised when I picked it up. My husband stopped by prior to the car being finished and didnt like the shade of red. To our surprise JR had the color changed to a shade that he knew we would love. This is the second car Ive had painted at this location and Im very happy with the service and the price. The prices are really high to be honest and I was thinking that it would be a lot cheaper but for the amount I spent and the wonderful customer service in which I received it was definitely worth the money I spent. I own a c230 coupe Mercedes and my paint started pealing cause its a 2002 model, so I got a few quotes and found Maaco west palm beach at church st gave me the best price and I was suspect at first to be completely honest, only due to I looked at the reviews after I dropped my car off. At arrival I got great service and was taken through the different paint jobs and prices, I went with the $499 but at the end it was just over $800 which I am happy to spend if its done properly, after 5 days I got a call my car was ready to be picked up, upon arrival my car was outside and looked amazing.. even my wife said wow . im a type of guy who takes care of my things especially my car so I was extremely happy with what I saw.. for that kind of price you cant not beat it.. My car looked horrible Wednesday when I dropped it off, i was so nervous Bc you hear so many bad things about paint jobs. Yesterday which was Friday only 2 days later I went to pick up my car and instantly I was in tears of joy Bc my car looked like a brand new car off the lot!!!! I took my car in for some deep scratches caused by a AAA (Triple A) locksmith and Tony quoted me in a matter of 5 minutes. He was nice enough to let me come in at 5 pm on the dot so that I could get an estimate, and his team worked really fast on the car. It was ready within one day but I couldnt pick it up because AAA had not made payment yet. Tony made sure I could get my car after hours, and the work done was seamless! It was as if nothing ever happened. I will definitely be calling again to see if his team can take all of the minor scratches off my car and make it look new again. Thanks Tony for everything!Edit: My second time going to Tony was a complete polar opposite experience. I took my car back in 2 months later because someone rear-ended me. Mind you, the estimator highly suggested not to take it to Maaco and to use one of their preferred vendors for quality and protection reasons. I went back to Tony and he had my car for maybe 2 weeks. My first negative experience was when I gave him the estimate and he made the Maaco bill total exactly to the estimate bill without going through any systems to check the actual price. The guy at Kia who did the estimate told me I should get some money back because he was lenient with pricing. I pick up my car 2 weeks later and the only thing replaced was the bumper! The scuffed tailight was the same, the 10 scratches were the same, the scratches he promised to fix everywhere else on the car were untouched, the dents were the same, everything. I was pissed because he wasted my time and had to take off time at work to pick it up at a later date and schedule the rental car drop off with Enterprise. He cheated me on the bill, so I had to have my husband go up there and talk to him. He gave us maybe $100 back when in the grand scheme of things the estimate was for $11,000 and all he did was fix the bumper. I definitely would have sued him if I had the time and resources on where to find a good lawyer. Just take your car to an approved shop from the insurance company! Maaco is for people who are paying out of pocket for repairs.

Sometime in September, I went to go put in gas for my car and to avoid a collision with another car, I dinged my car in a spot that would be very difficult to work on. I’ve taken my car to numerous shops where the price ranges from 900 to 1400. Then I met with the owners of Macco and they offered 700 to fix it! Took my car in on the 29th of oct and got it back 2nd of nov. They were very professional and did an amazing job! With reasonable prices!!

Stay away from this place I cannot tell you the nightmare my insurance company gave him a check before they even knew who I was or had walked in the building and they cashed it it took me 3 months for Allstate to repay me back they are they do terrible worked one of my friends cars and they basically stole money from Allstate and from Macys of the customer dont say you havent been warned

The 299 paint job is a gimmick to get you in the door it actually cost over $500... The new paint has debris throughout it, pits and drips all over the rubber window trim is half painted when it should not be painted at all... They removed the trim on the edge of the door and did not bother to remove the adhesive before painting over it and it looks awful
