A relaxing afternoon having high tea in a charming cottage in West Palm Beach. Audrey, the owner, and her staff could not be more gracious. We started off a deviled egg appetizer with a raspberry vinigerette and then high tea starts with soup or a salad and a there is the option to have a piece of quiche. Then comes a three tier stand with scones, finger sandwiches and pastries. Not to mention and entire menu of teas to choose from. We had Pineapple Coconut, Chocolate Strawberry, Chocolate Cherry, Pumpkin and Peppermint and enjoyed them all. Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing, fun and delicious afternoon.
Wonderfully charming place, and the food is superb. Audrey, the owner of the establishment, was an absolute doll, she came and had a good old fashioned chat with me about my vacation and the rest of the staff add to the cozy family atmosphere. And the price can’t be beat! It’s worth traveling to west palm beach, if only for this experience. 15 out of 10, will be back, it’s in all honesty a treasure.
I had my baby sprinkle here this past weekend and it was all that I had hoped for. Audrey, you are absolutely amazing. Thank you for working with me every step of the way. The atmosphere was beautiful and quaint, the food was delicious, and the tea was the best I’ve ever had. It was wonderfully relaxing for everyone. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out. It’s like a perfect tea party dream!
We recently had the most absolutely amazing dining experience hosted by Audrey and her over the top servers. From the time we sat down until we finished, we ate and drank the most delish scones, finger sandwiches, assorted desserts/pastries and mimosas....including gluten-free choices. The furnishings are fun, eclectic and authentic for a tea house. We celebrated High Tea With The Bride To Be at the perfect place!
Great service, good food, and a diverse selection of tea. I already made a reservation to go back. They have the eclectic but homie feel you would expect from a small tea house. Loved the atmosphere and experience!
Wonderful. The owner called to confirm reservation and ask about allergies. She was very accommodating with swapping out an ingredient my nephew and I werent fond of. All in all, we had a terrific time. The waitress was excellent, and she made many good recommendations. She was very attentive. And the food was fresh, delicious and very plentiful.
Lovely little tea house, beautiful and quaint inside, lots of tea choice all tasty.. I would definitely go back
My favorite tea place in all West Palm Beach. A quaint spot for tea and treats. The staff and owner are amazing. My favorite tea is the Madagascar Vanilla.
Lovely little place! So sweet & homey! Perfect place for a little girls birthday party.
What a lovely high tea! The food was delicious and no body does sconces like Serenity. The scones are so fresh and yummy! The sandwiches were delicious and all items were lovingly packed. Pick up was very well planned, which is so wonderful during these challenging times. Highly recommend.
Charming vintage tea and luncheon restaurant. Perfect to take your mother, daughter, sister or friend. Lovely.
It is lovely, or as my lunch companion said, it is like going back in time to a beautiful. English cottage. Service and food were excellent. Highly recommend the chicken curry salad.
This quaint off the beaten path tea house is delightful and worth the experience. We had the Royal high tea. Delicious. Will visit again.
The food was amazing and abundant. The staff were so attentive and kind. The building is charming. I wish I could give it more stars. I will be back.
This place is just simply amazing! From the decor toThe lovely staff and the food is just outstanding! All homemade and amazing quality! Brings your right back to Ireland! So yummy! Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely one of my favorite places in Palm Beach County. I’ve been coming here for years and have always had the BEST food, drinks and service. The staff are always smiling and make you feel so welcome. It is such a relaxing spot to unwind whether alone or with friends. I also love the book club here and all the other fun events always going on. Highly recommend!
The menu both thrills and soothes. It contains the expected tea party regulars like scones and finger sandwiches, favorites all expertly made fresh in house. Salads, soups, small bites, and refreshing desserts curated to delight your taste buds. I highly recommend this place; very nice and delicious
We will never be in this place again! So disappointed .. place looks dirty and bathroom sink rusty and looks so yuk ! Also i didnt like how they add the service and the tip on my bill, i have to be given the choice of my tip amount . Tea tasted like water with flavor only . So pricy for no reason .. while we were leaving i saw the owner follow a little girl to get back one rose that she liked to have from the table !!! So rude and unprofessional . Never again .. if you want the business to keep going you must make costumers happy and reduce those prices .
Such a lovely place for a cup of tea, or a pot if you have time, and a tasty luncheon. I’ve been here three times now. Once, I made prior reservations and they were able to beautifully accommodate my mother who is gluten-free. The second time I came with a friend spontaneously and we were able to sit on interrupted for several hours and enjoy each other’s company over a wonderful meal. The third time I came I went alone without a reservation. I will say I highly recommend making reservation. This little gem is not quite so hidden and it often has large parties celebrating birthdays, baby showers, or the like. If you want to guarantee yourself a spot I highly recommend a reservation.
Had a double Baby Shower Celebration for both of my sisters today 11/01/2020. Let me tell you, from the beginning of booking the Event/Private Room to the actual Baby Shower date, Audrey gave such an attentive and pleasant service. Everything from the food, the tea and the setting was wonderful & delicious. Made all my guests feel very welcomed. Love the Private room with all the Antiques and Tea settings. Audrey and another lady I believe her name is Amanda not sure but thank you both for the Great Service and truly a delightful time!!Cant wait to be back.
Very friendly owner and attendants, very good food, very reasonably priced!
I enjoy tea all hours of the day. Enjoyed High Tea... Was a bit pricey considering no full sandwiches but the experience was very pleasant. At those prices the bathroom is in dire need of upgrading. Rusty sink...Yuk!🤨
This little tea house packs a big wallop for such a tiny place. The menu both thrills and soothes. It contains the expected tea party regulars like scones and finger sandwiches, paired with moder day favorites all expertly made fresh in house. Salads, soups, small bites, and refreshing desserts curated to delight your taste buds.
The service was okay except I had to look for my server when we were done eating for over fifteen minutes. I didnt like that they put the tip amount on my bill. The tip is based on the service and its up to the customer to decide the quality of the service..
It was absolutely wonderful and perfect . Had a luncheon with my daughter. The food was at point and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We felt very welcomed. Customer service at 110%.
Good location near to Norton Museum and the decor was interesting (though it could have done with a bit more dusting...so many knick-knacks...we ordered cream tea....scones looked nice but tasted really bad (too much bicarbonate?), clotted cream was not authentic and was inedible and lemon curd was similarly bad. To be fair, the manager responded by exchanging for cheesecake which was delicious. Not cheap though....(we are English, so everything in the US seems twice the price it should be!) Nice atmosphere, and good tea but Ill take my own picnic next time....
A true dining treasure in Palm Beach County. The food is freshly prepared from high quality ingredients into tasty recipes. The ambiance is charming and a perfect place to relax and unwind with a pot of tea and a delicious meal. I look forward to going back again :)
Anyone whose had the opportunity to experience a traditional High Tea in the UK will find Serenity Gardens seriously lacking. While the atmosphere was cute and the tea options numerous with the taste as expected, everything else was lack luster and not worth the price. The portion of the soup(while delicious) was disappointing and the quiche followed suit. Our scones were large blocks of overdone and flavorless biscuits, with the accompaniments(lemon curd, clotted cream, and preserves) barely enough for one, let alone a table of four. The tea sandwiches were nothing special and you had more of the herb cheese options than anything else, they were cut in long strips as opposed to triangles, which made them much smaller than traditionally expected. The most disappointing tier was the top, as we immediately recognized it as the petite dessert tray offered at any local publix grocery store. There did not seem to be a single home-made treat on the tray, and flavor was lacking all around. We were very excited to try Serenity Garden based on all the fabulous reviews, but were sadly incredibly disappointed and will not be back. We did come to the conclusion that for those whove never experienced a real high tea, this would be an ok start, but definitely not for those of us looking for a bit of home.
Charming place, great food and tea, great service. Wish they had more variety on the menu like daily specials or something but overall awesome spot to relax with friends or by yourself.
This is a little hidden gem in WPB. I have leved here for 9 years, have driven by this place a thousand times and never knew it was here. A proper little tea house. With all little rooms to sit in. We got soup first, I had the cream of potato w>th fennel. OMGosh it was so good. The they brought out a tower with finger sand wicked and little pasties. It was so good.
Wonderful tea house with excellent customer service! My friend and I surprised our mother’s by bringing them here for the Mother’s Day high tea. The owner was very accommodating and helpful when making reservations. She went above and beyond to let us know when there was a cancellation so that we could book it. The pre-fix menu was wonderful and included champagne, lobster bisque, a pot of earl gray tea, a wide variety of tea sandwiches, orange cranberry scones with clotted cream, strawberry preserves, and lemon curd, and a mixed variety of petit desserts. The waiter and owner were very attentive and checked on us several times to ensure we had everything we needed. The ambience is lovely as well as the Victorian themed decor. We will be returning soon!
I went with my mother last week to share with her a cup of tea while she is in town but food wasnt fresh, also owner was talking loud and she was rushing us to finish . She stated that they close by 4 and we had to leave fast . Never again !!
Service was quite nice, and it was a wonderful experience. I took my girlfriend there and she enjoyed it overall. It was a nice experience to have and to explore, definitely recommend to try it if you are looking to explore some English food and traditions.
Very cozy, pretty place specially for ladys.Owner, server was great, friendly!I will recommend for everybody who needs some serenity🌸☕🌴
Nice little place to take your spouse or date, which ever mode you are in the relationship. Polite staff and good food.
We had the Valentines Special - a glass of champagne to start, our pot of tea and the most scrumptious warm scones I have ever tasted. Wonderful atmosphere for tea lovers - clean and bright
The waitress we had was lovely and did a wonderful job. This rating is more for the food. Sadly the scones (which are my favorite usually) were made with too much baking soda, the flavor was overwhelming. They give you a small dish of cream, jelly and lemon curd all of which wasnt enough to cover the taste of the scones. The devonshire cream was not mixed well either since there were obvious chunks of cream cheese and the lemon curd was very bitter.Fortunately the tea sandwiches were done well, flavorful and fresh. The tea was brewed properly as well!
A fantastic place, as an expat from England, it lovely to get a taste of home in the form of cream and jam scones and a good cuppa. My daughters love the cakes and feel like little princesses.
Food does not taste fresh and service is slow. Really wanted to like this place but left disappointed
Beautiful quaint house with lovely tea decor and fireplace. Loved the ambiance and the food. So many delicious teas to choose from. Loved the sandwiches, pastries, soup, quiche and everything. Highly recommend
Went to a birthday party there. It was quaint, and the tea, and food was good.
Absolutely delightful and delicious experience. A true moment of respite during these troubled times. Sublime indulgence.
Absolutely love it. I live down the street and we get lunch here multiple times a week. Lovely atmosphere, service and food
Delightful dining——-a glass of wine, freshly baked scones, soups to die for! There’s a reason Serenity Garden Teahouse made “111 Places in Palm Beach That You Must Not Miss.”
My go to spot for lunch, tea and scones. Great food, service and location. I Highly recommend.
What a lovely high tea! The food was delicious and no body does sconces like Serenity. The scones are so fresh and yummy! The sandwiches were delicious and all items were lovingly packed. Pick up was very well planned, which is so wonderful during these challenging times. The food was delicious and loving Treat yourself and #eatlocal.
What a true delight!! The food was amazing, loved the entire staff!! ❤
Amazing little spot, incredible staff and a unique experience for sure. Its on the list every time Im in west palm
Excellent customer service and great food...beautiful place
A 4 star simply because they should pour the first cup as the tea pots are so heavy. Also the Earl Grey was watered down completely. But the scones and desserts were delicious. Tea sandwiches were good also. I will try their quiche next time. It brought me back to my childhood as my grandmom and I would have tea on English China.
Unique place, friendly staff, food was below average but way over prized.
Its looks like a small house converted into a little restaurant. The decorations are quite eclectic, which adds to its charm. The people are friendly and service was good. They have a variety of teas and the little sandwiches and desert was good too. If your in the West Palm Beach area you should definitely try it.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Friendly employees, delicious food, and they remembered the tea Id ordered the time previous and included a teabag of it gratis.
Amazing little gem! Everything about this place is lovely. Grab a friend or two, or dine alone.....you will be made to feel at home regardless. The tea selection is amazing.....dont forget to buy some to take home. The food, always delicious! Salads, quiche, soups, finger sandwiches, scones and clotted cream, etc.Its a lovely British Tea House.
Adorable and good food....highly recommend...enjoy!
Amazing experience! Not to be missed..and worthy of repeated visits.
So cute! The atmosphere is so nice, it feels like a real British tea party. All the tea cups and decor are a mish mash of really cool teacups and it feels just alive and crazy in a really fun way. The service was great and the food was so good, especially the scones! The tea selection is huge as well! It is a little on the pricey side for the whole high tea package, but definitely worth the experience! Would definitely come again!
We had such a lovely experience at high tea. It has such a relaxing environment and the quality of food and service was top notch. Audrey was an absolute delight! We will definitely be returning!
😍 I love this place! The owner, Audrey (dont swear me to that) is Irish and extremely charming. My friends surprised me with a birthday tea party. I enjoyed ham and brie with marmalade on a sour dough and the soup of the day was a nice complement. I had a lady Gray tea and it warmed all the right spots whilst I was sitting comfortably in front of a white Christmas tree that was even nicer than the one I keep at home. The service was impeccable. Its not my first visit here. The staff is so nice and attentive. They even surprised me with complimentary cider to celebrate my birthday. The environment is so warm and cozy with decorative books and teapots, pictures of the royal family, pink table linens and stately flatware. I decided it would be a lovely location for any parent that wanted to teach a young person good table manners.
Ms. Audrey presents a beautiful high tea and charming setting. She makes a point of checking on every table. Everything was perfect. The sweet potato pear soup was delish and our high tea was fab!Scrumptious lemon curd, strawberry jam and clotted cream with lovely homemade scones, tea finger sandwiches and wonderful sweets!Best darn Earl Grey Ive had and its my favorite!!Ms. Courtney was very sweet and took great care of us!Will be bringing my extended family here and am so happy to highly recommend.Thank you Ms. Audrey and Ms. Courtney for making this a lovely Fathers Day meal before our visit to the museum. You made it very special.😊
This is an outstanding hidden gem that is over the top in ambiance, yet reasonably priced. The waiters know their tea as well as champaign. They also offer gluten-free bread and if you call in advance you may enjoy their gluten-free scones.Outstanding menus choices for lunch too. Many clubs meet here do to be certain, I would call in advance for reservations. This is a must try !
I had my best friends bridal shower there. We had such a lovely time. The owner and staff were very accommodating. The tomato soup, teas, desserts, and sandwiches were delicious.
Quaint, lovely, relaxing😊 Food delicious and great service!! Would definitely go again😉😃
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The owner and the staff are always kind and lovely and of course... the food.... exquisite! Try the Florida Sunshine Cake for a yummy desert too ;P
I booked for a party of 21 ppl. One had car problems and 2 others didnt show. We were told because our party was so big, we had to have the high tea and for the others would couldnt/didnt make it we would be responsible for their high tea bill of $30 per person plus 20% gratuity and 7% tax. The only tasty item on the high tea menu was the scones. If I could I would have given zero stars. The only positive from this experience was the fellowship.
A lovely place. Great food, tea, and staff. It is such a treat !
The high tea lunch of soup, scone, sandwiches and desserts were delicious. If you want gluten free preparation, call ahead. I loved my infused tea. The servers were super helpful. The atmosphere is lovely.
I love tea houses. This is good, but $$$. Regular lunch is better cost wise than high tea. Owner is very sweet, but the scones are so dry you cant swallow without the tea. I would suggest a few changes. And this place could be a five!
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch here last week. I had the trio sampler platter which came with a delicious slice of quiche, my guest enjoyed a delicious chicken salad served with fresh berries and nuts. We saved room for some scones served with clotted cream and enjoyed a pot of lady gray tea. I look forward to going back to try the high tea which a lot of other tables were having. All in all a great find relaxing and serene. I think I will have to put it on a taking a little me time list.
Exactly what I anticipated it to be!!! #RoyalTea #Royalty
The atmosphere is very nice and antiquated, as it should be for a 100 year old house. The day was very hot and this translated to the house being very hot as well, the A/C didnt feel too on.We ordered the High Tea for 6 people. The Tea selection is very good, but it took over an hour for us to get our tea and Soup (the Tomato Basil soup was good but overpoweringly spiced) and then another 30 minutes for the tier treats to arrive. If you have a Party of 4 you receive 2 tiers of treats and sandwiches, which is the same you receive if you have 6 people in your party. They add more things to the tiers but other items there is still only one of, mainly the desserts, which can run out immediately.Overall I would recommend the High Tea service as it tastes good and has a good variety, but if you have a Party of 6 or more it would make more sense to split yourself into a 4 and 2 that way you get more treat tiers.Edit: had NO clue you could ask for more Macaroons/a refresh on dessert, the Macaroons and Lemon cake bites are amazing so ASK FOR MORE if you go. Review changed from 3 to 4 due to Owners reply and clarification!
We had my daughters bridal shower here and had a fantastic day. Audrey and her staff are great. The food and tea are great and the atmosphere is perfect. This is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back. Thank you again.
Was absolutely wonderful experience. Was there for a baby shower and the staff were so attentive and polite. Great tomato bisque. Lovely sandwiches and scones. The apple fig green tea was delicious. Over all great atmosphere. Will be back for sure.
The owner was incredibly rude to our party, I work in the service industry and I was blown away by her attitude. The tea was subpar and the food was okay at best, over priced and dry. Will absolutely never return nor recommend. There are too many tea houses to give this one my business ever again. The only good thing was our server she was very sweet and helpful. They close at 4, which I guess that means they lock the door at 4 and don’t clean up from the days business which is apparent by the level of dust in that place and I overheard her scolding the server telling her she needed to get everyone out! I feel sorry for her employees
This is the BEST tea house in the Palm Beach area - so warm, cozy, and decorated for comfort. They have hats to borrow and its like youre sitting in your own living room. Even the bathroom (they refer to it as the washroom) is the cutest! The high tea service offers such a good variety of finger sandwiches that are delicious. The teas I have tasted have all been tasty and fun! The service is also superb. I just hosted a large party with 45 women and no one was disappointed. Keep up the excellent job, Serenity Garden! I will be back! I highly recommend this tea house to everyone!
I wish I could give this place more starsbecause lovely. .at least the all idea of it. the food was good but too little and too expensive. the place is beautiful....but I bit dirty ? I understand the all old style thing but it could use some clean feeling too which i did not see much. the sink in the bathroom smell bad... again I get the old feeling English style but all the can also be clean. For the money they charge I am sure few changes can be done. the service was nice and the food good but I could used a.bigger sandwich or soup.
Cozy, eceltic and charming. The teas are wonderful and tea time treats are delightful. Enjoy coming here when I can.
My mom and I went for her birthday. Audrey was very attentive -and the entire staff very helpful. Everything was served to perfection. I highly recommend.
What a great experience we both had at your charming restaurant. I brought my sister there as part of her birthday surprise & we had the most enjoyable time. The pot of tea was simply delicious & its presentation in a tea cozy was that extra special detail of making things simply wonderful there. The service and pleasant attitude of both the waitress and owner was fantastic. We both had a very delicious lunch and enjoyed every bite of it right on down to the dessert. We cant wait to take our other sister there for a return visit. One place I look forward to returning. A great place to eat with such charm & ambience. Thank you!
Wonderful atmosphere and a fun experience. The food was good. Loved my tea. It had great flavor. A bit pricey but I understand you pay for the experience as well. My only suggestion would be to improve on your customer service. I was not too impressed. It seemed that the staff was in a big rush and it was our first time there and no one explained the menu. We had to figure out ourselves. I would go back again thou and give it another try. Maybe they were short staffed for the day. I understand that can happen in the restaurant biz last minute.
The cutest little spot for high tea! The scones are out of this world!!
We had my bachelorette party here. Everything was incredible. I also have a gluten allergy so they made me a separate dish that had a variety of scones, sandwiches, and even desserts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was an awesome bachelorette party. Highly recommend the high tea at Serenity Garden.
Great
I wish I could give this tea house 3 1/2 stars because of the interior being so nicely decorated. I have been a few time to Serenity and each time I am more disappointed in the food and tea. The scones look nice but always taste like a soda biscuit rather that being mildly sweet they are bitter, the clotted cream has cream cheese. The high tea desserts are small and unimaginative and now the tea is being mixed with other teas that is a real shame. I love a nice dark tea and choose Earl Grey but the tea remained medium and not much flavor to which I was told that they do mix their teas. What is the point, Im not sure except to maybe save money at the expense of the flavor. So disappointing that I doubt I will return and that is too bad as there are not many Tea Houses around anymore.
I went here with all the girls of my elementary school dance team after the big performance. I dont remember which one, maybe it was the princess tea party, anyway I had the most fun Im sure of that.
Royal Christmas Tea was an excellent service with Cranberry/Orange Scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd. Tea sandwiches were lovely as well as the dessert tier. Our waiter had a great suggestion for green tea and Ms. Farrelly is a dear lady. Thank for a great experience!
Adorable tea house by downtown West Palm Beach. They have a great selection of teas, all of which can be purchased for home brewing. You can order sandwiches, quiches, soups and salads a la carte, or you can reserve high tea (scones, mini sandwiches, mini desserts and pot of tea) in advance. We had the cream tea which is scones and a pot of tea and ordered a sampling of mini sandwiches. Reservations are recommended. They have outdoor seating and a room for private events. As we were leaving we saw a fridge by the exit packed with soups, sandwiches and cakes for grab and go customers.
Had such a lovely lunch there last Sunday. Would definitely go back for the food. I had the trio sampler cos I just couldnt make up my mind followed by a gorgeous scone with cream and jam and lemon curd. And Apple fig tea. Special atmosphere here.
