I believe Jamie and his crew are a cut above the rest. They do I great diagnostic service and keep you informed throughout the repair process. He wont put in cheap parts as he guarantees the work for 3 years/36,000 miles! Who else does that in town? Thanks to Sandy for the ride home. I took my car to West Richland Auto repair to have a brand new transmission installed and other repairs taking care of. During that time, I was able to use their loaner car which saved me from renting a car. Jamie and his crew did a great job and their customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend them.

First experience with an auto shop since moving to Richland and I lucked out. Went in with the check engine light on and left with a great running car. Easy to work with, upfront about cost and was able to get my car back to me earlier than anticipated. Discovery of leaking fluid required replacement of radiator. Through negotiation with the warranty insurance company, the cost for radiator replacement was covered. I discovered WRAR a few years ago with service performed on a different vehicle, and I have been totally pleased with all work performed. The inspection report with photos and descriptions of issues is excellent. Customer service communications is the best I have experienced. I have total trust and confidence in WRAR, and I have no reason to go anywhere else. Montanna is the best.

The staff is very friendly. My car needed a lot of work, and they had a loaner waiting for me ready to go without having to fill out a bunch of paperwork. I got regular text updates to my phone which was helpful. My car is working great now, and its never smelled so good. Its my first choice for car repair in the Tri-Cities.

Update: Had anther great experience with new 2020 2500 Cummins Ram Jan 2021 for routine maintenance, Thank you all again.Just had my first interaction with WRAR this past week 08/19. They we extremely courteous and excellent to work with. I made my appointment to have an aftermarket Bull Bar installed on my Ram 1500 Sport Truck. They got me in very quickly and did a great job and got me my truck back the same day. They offered me a ride home or work which was very kind of them even though I had a ride set up already. The install work so far is great... They even did a follow up via text to make sure I was happy with the work, Thank you WRAR. AS my newer vehicles go out of there manufacture warrantys I plan to use them for all my maintenance in the coming year. We try and support our local city businesss as much as possible in WR. Want to keep them here and its so convenient too. Their prices seem fair and competitive for the Tri Cities area as well. Will use them again! Was really worried about going to new mechanic but i was so glad I found this mechanic. Its helps that it is family owned. They updated you via text and they a wonderful job changing my spark plugs and wires. The diagnosis was really cool, I now am fully aware of my cars overall health thanks to them. Jamie is a well certified technician. He sets the tone in his shop to ensure every repair is done to manufactures specifications. What I enjoy about Jamie most is his honesty. If he encounters a manufacture and/or make that he isnt familiar with such as my 2015 Land Rover Evoque he had no issue letting me know that he was confident he could service the vehicle although he may not have in the past. Both facts were equally important to me when choosing a shop.Montana runs the front end of the shop. She too is upfront and did not make up stories when she did not know something unfamiliar.This shop has also worked on my 2008 Ram and was very efficient with the repair time and costs. I would highly recommend this shop, in fact I already have to multiple people. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The quote ended up being a bit more than I was hoping to spend so they gave me a detailed inspection form for me to look over with issues from most urgent to least urgent so I could pick out the things I needed to get taken care of right away. They communicated with me frequently and in a timely manner to get the most important things I needed taken care of as quickly as possible. I will definitely be bringing my car back for work in the future.

Recently used the services of West Richland Auto Repair. They were accurate with quotes, and the quality of service was excellent. At no time was there a change to the quote and i was informed at every step the status of the repair and the repair was done fast. In comparing pricing, WRAR was very competitive and very easy to work with. Without a doubt, a very good and honest operation and the repair qualities are second to none. Our 2017 Chevy Sonic check engine light was on. Schedule an appointment with West Richland Auto Repair, they were efficient with diagnosis the problem sent a detail paperwork explaining problem along with the cost to fix. They were able to get our car up and running all in one day. They also checked on the car couple days later to make sure everything was running good. I highly recommend them if you need and car repairs.

Ive always had great service from the team at West Richland Auto Repair. They are professional and thorough. I had an issue with my Audi leaking coolant, they diagnosed the issue as well as a multi point inspection throughout the vehicle and gave me a print out of needed maintenance. After the repair I had another coolant leak issue and WRAR sent out a tow truck to bring the vehicle in for repair without any charge. Great reliable team! And will be my go to for any other maintenance needs

I want to start with integrity. To me a mistake is less important than how you respond to it. That said here is my experience with them.They seemed very accommodating and they were empathetic to my situation. They rushed to get my vehicle done, even ahead of schedule, because it was my primary and only business vehicle. The bill came out to more than I thought it would. When I discussed it with them they were more concerned with my satisfaction and their reputation than the monetary difference, even to the point of insisting on sending me a check immediately for the difference. I told them it wasnt necessary but they were insistent. I would not hesitate to do business with them again or recommend them to friends and family. That level of integrity is what we need in businesses in our community.

Good attitudes. Most mechanic shops have no patience when you ask them to work something out for you. These guys did everything with a smile and got my rig fixed quick. Ill be back.

This isnt the first time I have used West Richland Auto - they are still great!Heres a recap of my last trip:I called a week ahead to schedule an appointment or drop off for my car which needed new struts. I have a new job with not a lot of time off, one car, and cant have my family drive me everywhere for work. I discussed this with Montanna, who not only cares for you as a customer, but as a person too. She was also available to text on her work phone which made communication easy for me since I was at work (normally I call). Ive enjoyed all of our talks! What I didnt know is that she took note and balanced what I needed and their workload from just a friendly talk of me telling her how happy I am with my new job. She knew I needed my car - I dropped my car off after hours on Wednesday and it was ready Thursday! I thought I would have to wait until Monday, so I was prepared for that. She also contacted me on Thursday when my car was done, but I wasnt able to pick it up at that time because I was recovering from surgery. But, I appreciated their hard work making sure my car was ready for me! For Before/After Hour drop off West Richland Auto has a packet you fill out, place your keys in, then drop into their drop box. I liked this because I get off of work at the same time they close. Their location also doesnt make me worry about my car getting broke into; I feel safe leaving my car there at night. On Friday, when I picked up my car, Jamie and Montanna were their to greet me. I always like chatting with them. I feel safe, see their hard work, and honesty. Those gals wont let you get the runaround about your vehicles like I have had at other places. Usually, I go get my car looked at and play dumb to see what the guys try and tell me. If they lie, I leave! West Richland Auto NEVER talks down to you no matter your gender or which employee you talk to. I have talked to the owner and mechanics there also - every time I get the same answer - no lies! Everyone their is very knowledgeable. Their staff is certified and use domestic material instead of cheap import. They even met a quote I got from a different company that changed my tires. I took both of my 10+ year old vehicles to West Richland Auto for regularly scheduled maintenance and was pleased with the results and price. They did a thorough inspection and provided a website link with a report indicating suggested items to repair, including pictures of affected parts, and the severity of the issues. The billing invoice was clear, indicating the charges for parts and the charges for labor. Labor costs are a big part of car repair these days, and the times quoted seemed fair. I did have one issue with a broken vacuum line to the air filter housing, which was broken during the inspection, but the technicians fixed this issue promptly, including allowing us to use a loaner car while fixing the problem. West Richland Auto provides a free shuttle to/from your work or house, making it easy to drop off your vehicle and pick it up when the maintenance is complete.

I highly recommend West Richland Auto Repair. They are accurate, fair, courteous and speedy. Their service saved me from a potential and serious accident. I was pulling my 5th wheel and while accelerating there developed a serious vibration in the truck. Thinking it was my driveline, they found out it was my power steering pump. It went out while they were test driving it. Hard to steer, almost no brakes, they muscled it to the shop. I could have been pulling my trailer when the power pump went out!!!

The mechanics have a passion for what they do and it really shows in their work. They are not the cheapest shop but you definitely get what you pay for not to mention the sense of security that my vehicles are fixed right the first time. Love the pictures and the emails. I love West Richland Auto!! A few weeks ago I acquired a 2015 Kia Rio. Nice looking car, but it had problems. A lot of problems. Basically, the previous owner ran it into the ground and the engine was all but destroyed due to severe overheating over time. I was ready to junk the car or sell it off for parts. Pretty disappointed, everything about the car in great shape except the engine, which, in its day, was more than adequate for a compact like the Rio. I asked WRAR whether there were options, and they said, frankly, a new engine and youd have a fine car. Otherwise, no good options. I was on the fence about a new engine, but then my contact at WRAR, Montana, checked around and found a used engine with 50,000 miles on it. The price wasnt bad, and the labor wasnt bad either, considering the engine was intact and even had one year warranty on it. In the end, it worked out perfectly. The cost was far less than if I junked the car and began a new car search. It was only a few days work and WRAR had the engine in and the car all checked out. Love the car now, its a joy to drive, and its great on gas. Saved money, got a great car, amazing outcome for me. Much appreciated, WRAR!!

They have done nearly $9000 in work on family vehicles over the last 18 months. One was a $4200 insurance job but the rest were paid in full at the time of pick up by me, not the owner of any of the cars. This week we took in a car with the differential out of it and agreed to the quote. When they called to say it was done they added that it needed three new wheel studs. The quote was $398. $86 for parts and $312 for labor. I called Les Schwab they quoted $88 with tax for everything. You can guess which one we chose! I feel like we have been good customers and they tried to take it to us. Now we are no longer customers.

I have never taken any vehicle I have ever owned into a repair shop. I have always done the work myself. (Plus my Dad;) however, since the giant piece of garbage vehicle I purchased (2008 Suburban) doesnt physically fit in my garage.-my bad. I found it necessary to take it somewhere because a wheel bearing needed to be replaced.I asked all the people I know and they recommended this place unanimously. To say they were right would be a massive understatement. These guys are legit. They were fast and charged me less than I had anticipated. I was totally happy with just this primary visit and repair work. Little did I know, the story would continue...To add another chapter to this review:The part they replaced catastrophically failed while my wife was running errands. I called them and without any hesitation they told me to have it towed at their expense to their shop. This was around noon. They had completely replaced the entire axel and had it fully repaired in time for me to get it before they closed on the same freaking day!!!!! Oh and did I mention they charged me NOTHING because it was due to a faulty replacement part and they quote, stand by their work. They also offered to come get me/wife. They literally couldnt have done anything more. If you cant tell, I am fully on board the W. Richland Automotive train. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. If you take your vehicles anywhere else you are stupid.Thanks again for being so unbelievably honorable and genuine.

I was very impressed by my experience with WRAR. I was able to get a diagnosis the same day that I brought my car in. The original quote was very high due to a part-availability-cost issue, but Shane worked with me to find a better alternative. My rack and pinion assembly is now replaced and I was only without my car for one day. The free shuttle service and pleasant employees are a great bonuses too. Ill be a returning customer.
