Guys here are nice and easy to work with. They know their way around all things subwoofers and amplifiers.

This place used to be great, but now they want literally $800 to install a remote start in my car. I said wow, it only cost around $300 about 1.5 years ago. The guy said it was because of the chip shortage and the unavailability of parts, and knowing that that was highly possible, I took him at his word and left. I decided to look on Amazon for the parts I need, everything was available and there was virtually NO PRICE DIFFERENCE from what they used to be. Parts cost me about $200 (including drone mobile module), Best Buy auto tech will install it all for $150. So thats $350 as opposed to California Audios $800 quote, and lies about shortages. I wont be coming here anymore, and you should never go there so long as they want to charge such outrageous prices. Do your research, buy the parts you need and have someone else install it, or install it yourself.

Had the wifes car in on Saturday for a stereo, backup camera, all new speakers, amp, and sub woofers installation. Plus got the windows tinted. All done in one day by a very impressive crew. Absolute poor service. Doesn’t give a realistic time frame. Was told work would be done the next morning and showed up late and still had to wait two hours. They do not care whatsoever about their customers time. If they would’ve told the truth about the time frame might’ve been a different experience given we came from Davis county. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Excellent customer service. They actually care about their customers. I went there to get my windows tinted and I did go the extra mile to get the ceramic (heat resistance layer, other places just call it premium) as well. My car looks amazing! Their prices are competitive, and before you run down the street to save $10, look at the pictures. They know what theyre talking about and theyll help you find what you want. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would recommend.

They made my husband a box and it just fell apart they took it back and said they fixed it but there is no way they did because the box is just straight up garbage. The wood and material they used is not meant to have competition speakers in it the boxes will just fall apart.

I hardly post reviews ever. Extremely poor customer service though. Called to look into installing an expensive remote start and security system only to be set down and forgotten - so I sat there and waited. Luckily, I got listen in on the front desk using some pretty graphic language and how he was smacking down beers underage on a boat recently. I started recording and caught a lot of it. I’ll happily post it because this was super unprofessional and a let down from a company who almost has perfect stars.

They did an excellent job tinting the windows on my older BMW. I also bought a stereo install kit and they had to order the plug based on the information I gave them. It turned out to be the wrong plug I really didnt expect to get a refund but they took back the wrong plug and exchanged it for the correct plug. Wouldnt go anywhere else for tint or anything else they offer..

Have been using this spot for all my audio needs for 7 years. Just had an install for a Sub in my 2015 Nissan Rogue, could not be happier. Instal is clean and factory looking, sound is fantastic. Recommend anyone to try this spot out, great customer service and fair prices.

Called three weeks ago about getting my car rewired still have not got a call back.Called Alan on 11-4-2020 he told me he was going on vacation and would call me when he got back in town to set up a time to look at my car. today is 11-24-2020 still have not hear from him.

Over 2 years ago, I had these guys install a stereo for me (I provided the stereo and parts). Just recently, I had a problem come up with the way it was installed. I called them up, and they had me bring the vehicle in. They quickly and effectively fixed the installation with no question or argument. They didnt even ask me to pay. Their customer service was top notch!

Absolutely the worse experience ever I spent a ton of money on a system these guys were to do they broke my door window switch my gauges and my column left a complete mess in my truck promised to fix the things they broke never did there liars and cheats they ignore my phone calls now because I simply just wanted them to fix what they broke and honestly I will never ever recommend these guys to anyone or family they don’t know what there doing and just lie to pretend they know and charge way to much for horrible service and to have them break stuff in your vehicle that I had to pay other shops to fix on top of that they caused my truck to have electrical issues and everything they’ve cost me a fortune and honesty they should make it right but refuse too there warranty is clearly a lie don’t ever take your car or truck here they will just mess it up completely and absolutely ridiculous store and should be shut down.

This is actually an edit from my first review of California audio,About 8 months ago I had California audio install an amp and subwoofer combo along with tinting my windows on my wife’s new car, well they did some great work, and I honestly don’t think anyone can do better than they did.I recently bought my first truck, and well it’s a nice truck, but it needed a boost in audio quality, and I didn’t even consider going anywhere else.Now there was some miscommunication and They actually installed something else completely different than what we had agreed on, I was initially quite upset about it, though it does sound better than it did stock it wasn’t really what I expected.I could probably leave the review here, but they humbly apologized and they corrected the issue and they even earned my business to get my windows tinted the following week.These are great guys and a great company that I would recommend over anyone in Utah.I am actually going to be getting some screens installed soon with California audio, so for anyone looking for car audio or tint, I guarantee that you will never find a better place to get it done, Alan and his entire team are extremely educated and will not screw you over.Thanks California audio, and I do apologize for getting a little hot over the initial issue that we had, but you have a great team and I know from here on that you have my business.Collin.

So glad we found this gem! I have a mini van and needed. To replace the front dash media player. I had been to two other places (an auto repair shop and the dealership) who didnt know what they were doing or wanted to charge me a ton of money and take all day to fix it. We finally made an appointment here and they diagnosed the problem in minutes and fixed it in a half hour. They charged very reasonable price. They were kind and explained everything. Loved my experience.

Im new to doing installs and their staff was awesome helping me to understand the nuances in car stereo installs. Sold me the parts, explained in detail (without trying to scare me into having them do the install) the best way to do and I successfully installed myself.

The Best Possible place in Salt Lake to have an audio or security system installed or repaired!!I brought my 07 Acura TL in for a parasitic power drain on my battery.They not only fixed the issue but improved the performance of my auto-starter.What blew me away even more was the cost of the repair!It took 2 day for them to diagnose and fix the issue.When I picked up my car I brased myself for a whopper of a bill.The charge was LESS THAN $100!!!!I cant brag enough about these guys!I would reccomend them to anyone!

Since 2012 when I first bought 2 12 Memphis subs on Christmas deal for an awesome price, I was set on bringing all my installs and needs to California Audio. Allen & Trevor since have taken care of me on every visit with quick, accurate service on every Install or purchased product. The installers are all trained and educated, and every setup has been tucked, cleaned up and organized. Never had an issue with even my last recent visit. Installed an 18” Subwoofer 3 batts and big 3 for me. As well as fabricating my custom box. If your thinking about customizing anything with audio, or just want a new head unit. I highly recommend you call California Audio, they won’t disappoint!

Love this place! They did a great job installing my PioneerAVH-310EX, back up camera and the Viper remote start. I had problems with the remote start twice, Viper and California took care of me. Even upgraded my remote start for the problems. I was so impressed, I had another Viper installed on my wife’s vehicle. I’m going to take my wife’s Harley Trike in later and have the security installed. Excellent service! Highly recommend. Thanks

They replaced the stereo and speakers in my truck and added a backup camera. Things went well for almost a year and the camera went out. They replaced it free of charge and with no hassle. I definitely recommend them.

Just got back from California Audio, what a great place! i was having problems with my Sirius Radio (no audio). Went to Ford but the amount they wanted was way out of my budget. I went across the street to California Audio because they had done some work for me in the past. The guy listened to my story and said he would at least look at it, if i wanted. He came back about 10 minutes later and said everything is fixed and it was working fine! I thanked him and when I asked how much, he just smiled and said, no charge!
