This is a review for this store, not for the entire company. Upon arriving we were greeted and placed in a queue. we were not told how long the wait would be, but it ended up being about 40 minutes. I wish we were told this up front. Sales staff seemed to be working very inefficiently. The sales associate was not very friendly or personable. Next time we’ll just order our phones online.

After waiting, even when another person walked in, while I was checking in, and started asking questions, I quietly waited. When the agent was done, he finally approached me. I just wanted a case for my Z3. I was shown four cases. One was the same as the one I had. Which does not fit well. Another didnt fit either. The 3rd I opted to purchase. During check out Im informed there was an issue with this case. The agent gius to speak with his manager. After awhile comes out and says be cant sell me the case. Then it takes another 10 to 15 minutes to remove the case from my phone. 1800.00 for a phone and I cant even get a decent case. I drive across town to get here only to waste an hour and a half of my time. Second issue with a verizon corporate store. Im going to go to 3rd party from now on.

Seems friendly enough. They always try to push you to but their accessories by offering you a bundle deal. Not sure that you have any more buying them that was versus buying them online. Havent had a bad experience here but not terribly impressed. Lots on stock but I think that is everyone right now.

I scheduled an appointment to get assistance with setting up new Samsung s21 phone, at the West Valley City location and transferring data from old phone. I was able to get started at my appointment time. James helped me and was great to work with. He was patient with me and answered my questions. I really liked that he was able to process my trade in and we were able to complete everything that afternoon, even though my S7 was being difficult. I recommend this store and recommend making appointments. Thankyou

Lady that was helping me kicked me out of the store. I asked her to print out a payment history so I can let my attorney review it. She told me to leave the store cause I threatened legal action. Where in the world does me saying Im showing this to my attorney threatening legal action? Glad Im not with verizon any longer. Lost a customer and word of mouth goes a long way.

This verizon store texted me to let me know 10 minutes before they closed that my order was ready for pick up. The message when I called the store said they closed an hour later and the hours posted on their door said an hour later than it was. Scheduled hours are scheduled for a reason. I am very disappointed in this locations service.

The first time I went to a verizon store it was the jordan landing location and I was there for at least an hour or more and my issue was not resolved so I was somewhat nervous going to the verizon store again but this time a different location. But I was in and out! I think my first interaction was with a manger and he was super friendly and the guy who helped me out was tyrelle! They have a better customer service than the JL location so i’m giving this place a 5 star cause the JL location sucks

Funny, I got similar experience as a person (Morgan) below. I needed a tablet, prices and dimensions. Some lady greet my by the entrance and started asking me about my account. And almost right away she told me they cant sell me anything if I dont authorize (I am a part of the family account, but I wasnt on the list, dont know why). So I asked can I at least take a look, I needed numbers, I wasnt planning to buy it at that day. And only when I asked second time how much will be monthly payments I got an answer.Guys, just be more patient, thats why you there.

At times it seemed as if I was more knowledgeable about the products and services they offered. I have been in this store a number of times due to its proximity to my my home. I have been completely frustrated and disappointed by the feel of the store EVERY time. My recent visit makes me want to seek out a different wireless carrier all together. I purchased an $800 phone and was told to take it home and set it up, as they no longer do that in the store. In the past I have never left the store with a phone not completely ready to use. With the amount of money I/we pay for this wireless service I/we should not have to go home and spend hours navigating the set up of our phones. I feel as though I/we are paying more for less.As for the feel of the store, I feel like a number. I am not spoken to as a person wanting to purchase a phone but as an inconvenience. This is not acceptable. I have been advised by other Verizon Wireless stores to never go to this West Valley location due to the complaints these other stores have heard of. I will be heeding that advice, and I urge others to follow suit.

I thought it was better when the employees set up your phone, put on you screen protector and explained a few things. My daughter broke the screen protector when she tried to put it on and my husband wasnt able to get all the air bubbles out when he applied his. Not as big a fan as I used to be.

Went in on black friday was told they had an awesome deal for the red samsung galaxy s10e phone you get a tablet and a galaxy watch for free. Pay the activation fee the first month and then we should be reimbursed for the tablet and watch after. Well we were charged like she said but then charged again for a really high amount the following month called in to Verizon they said it should happen in a couple months just want to make sure we keep the phones pretty much just shrugged off well still being charged extremely high amount in March so called in again and come to find out the sales lady lied to our faces nothing she said was true so we got screwed over we are now paying for a 2 new watchs, 2 new tablets and 2 new phones. We dont have that kind of money! I feel like she just wanted the awesome comission off of us so if you go in to this store stay away from Katelyn B. She just wants the commission

Would give 0 stars if available. The manager here provided terrible service. After spending 2 hours on the phone because I was sent the wrong phone in the mail, I arranged to drive 16 miles to this store to return the wrong phone and get a new phone that they had in stock.The manager immediately told me that he could not take the phone as a return and offered no options except to print a label for me. If I had known that I would have just had the right phone shipped to my house. I thought I would wait to see if he would offer other options. He put me in the queue and I sat and watched while this manager played on his phone while his associates helped the customers. He could have helped, but instead he sat there. I was already turned off by getting the wrong phone and having to drive to pick up the phone. I decided to just leave and I am probably going to switch providers after being a long-time customer.Customer service is what keeps companies going long-term and it definitely does not exist at Verizon and especially not in West Valley City.

Was a loyal customer for over 15 years. When I asked what happened to my rewards. Staff said sorry changing the head person in the account deleted all my rewards. My account number never changes all information stayed the same but they deleted over $50 in gift cards. When I said I guess I’ll go with another provider staff mockingly said that solves that problem and laughed. I’m shocked at the poor customer service and complete lack of customer care. Verizon quality and service is extremely poor. Sad to see what they have become. :(

Returned something the same day not used. Still had to pay $35 restocking fee I didnt even know about. Also 2 week reuturn policy would not be applied to a product I was going to trade in for (which was 6 times more expensive I might add). Obviously I didnt trade up like I was going to. What a joke. I have a complaint about this West Valley on 2917 Glen Eagle Dr. Verizon store.Ive been with Verizon for several years.We went in about 10:30 Saturday morning 5/17/2014 to get new phones, the store was full of people but only two customer service people were Helping customers. We waited an entire hour, they finally called my name and then the Hispanic girl couldnt figure out how to look me up in the system. Really? They had no trouble finding me when I first came in the store. Meanwhile this same girl was turning up the salsa music really loud and dancing all over the store in a very inappropriate manner. Are you kidding me???? I couldnt hear anything. My wife was getting a headache. This bufoonish girl was helping other Hispanic people who came in much later than we did, and several people had the same complaint. Maybe she was uncomfortable helping non-Hispanics? If she had spent 1/2 as much time actually helping customers as she did dancing and talking there would not have been so many people walking out after waiting so long. The only other sales guy spent the entire hour trying to help one guy and he wasnt making any progress. Meanwhile this other tall girl who seemed to be new kept walking around talking to us telling us were were next but she didnt actually help anyone, and next never came.There was another girl in the back of the store who helped certain people but was not helping with all those of us who were waiting. Worst Verizon store experience ever! After more than an hour wait we finally left and drove 20 miles to another Verizon store in Fort Union UT and that was more like it, the same good old reliable quick efficient service.I am not exaggerating about the awful experience we had at the West Valley Store. Seriously I will never go back there. This dancing salsa girl should be fired post haste, she is a joke.

Just buy your phone an accessories online. The dealers in this store are very rude and do not listen to you. They have one mindset and that is to try and make sales with no respect. Every employee in the store all act like they elites. Very, very unprofessional. As soon as the lady found out that I needed an accessory (that they no longer hold) for my Galaxy s8 she shrugged me off like she wasnt going to make a sale and did everything she could to get me out of the store. To rate my most recent experience; lets just say.. the short 20 minute wait I spent browsing was MUCH more enjoyable than the time I spent speaking with the actual Verizon Sales Representative. I go out of my way on a rainy Saturday after work with intention of buying myself a new cellphone. I would expect for the person I spent my time waiting to work with; is going to (at the very least) pretend they care some for me too. The only reason Id even say the experience was okay is because of the representative that opened our door when we first walked into the store.I went in with intention to buy, maybe leave with a new phone. Now I understand with availability and dont mind waiting a little to get something I really want... but Id honestly much rather buy our phones online from now on. I dont really mind it doing it at all but youd think, if you were a new Verizon customer or have been with the company for 7 years; you would get some good customer service.

I was here yesterday for the 2nd time in a row that I have come to this location that I was treated poorly. I always came to this store and had great luck however I always dealt with the same person who was wonderful. He has left and as a matter of fact the majority of the staff has changed. The low priority to customer service is horrible I have been treated like I owe them something for dealing with me. I have 6 active lines on my account and have never been late paying. I walked out yesterday and told them I am changing providers, due to the fact I was trying to move one of my lines that I pay for my mother to a pre paid or other account because I knew that it was out of contract in 30 days. The kid told me I would have to pay a $70 early termination fee. I explained that I only paid $30 for the line he said I dont know what to tell you lady I didnt write the contract What else do you need? by the way you bill is not paid. I told the disrespectfully jack a$$ by the way did you notice that its not due until 3/2 that is more than 2 weeks away. At this point I decided that it was best for all involved that I just leave and cut my ties with this business. I just figure that I would warn you prior to you enduring this location.

As with other reviews on this site, I recommend you avoid this store. I went in last week and talked to Corrina (unsure of spelling) and she promised me a bunch of stuff. I dont know if she was honest with me or not, she got busy and I had to leave. I went back today and talked to Tyler. He was worse than worthless. I tried for 15 minutes to get him to answer a question and he refused. He always gave me some song and dance and totally avoided answering ANYTHING I asked. I said this is a yes or no question, please answer and he dodged again and made up some irrelevant crap. As a salesman myself I was HIGHLY offended at his lack of intelligence or lack of willingness to deal directly with me. I will likely just stay with T-Mobile instead of making the changes I had anticipated. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!

There are always some communication rough patches when dealing with phones, and with Verizons constant updates some on staff were not confused as to what exactly needed to be done. However, Debbi Estrada straightened everything out and explained all of the details very clearly. She visited our office in person and wheeled and dealed to make things work for us. I tried using the kiosk to pay my bill. I had a difficult time with my trade in card so I asked a worker for help. She answered my question and offered to help me at the front desk. I said it would be great but that I wanted to go back to use the kiosk after she did the trade in rebate since it was my first time using it. We went to the front, she asked for my phone number. I gave it to her. The manager came to the front and spoke to all the employees which were 4 who were helping customers. His interruptions caused the employees to neglect their customers, infringe on the employees senses since the manager was changing their schedule two days before a holiday AND they had plans. When the person who was helping me finished her conversation then she returned back to me and started all over with what is your phone number? Then she also did the complete billing process. I was disappointed in the manner of professionalism that was displayed.

TL;DR: This store sucks. Out to get you with bait and switch. Felt totally taken advantage of. They promised to waive the activation fees of both my lines if I got the accessory package, which is a case, screen protector, and cable. I also got two extra accessories on top of that since the manager I was working with said he could work them into the deal for me as part of the package. After some research that night and some friends telling us the accessory bundle is JUST the case, protector and cable and that the manager tricked us into thinking they were part of it all I decided that night I didnt need those two extra accessories and went to return them on a later day. The same manager who set me up before was now saying he would not waive the activation fees if I returned the two EXTRA accessories and that if I did return them I wouldnt get the full receipt price back, he would only give a partial refund. After a long conversation with my wife on speakerphone about him misleading us and now lying to us (she wasnt with me at the time) he became verbally abusive to her and told her to Come down to the store and say it to my face! like a compensating little frat boy. My wife hung up after we both told him we would just have to call customer service. He then pulled me aside and very sneakily said, k, I wont waive the act fees, but i can give you the refund on the two accessories at the receipt price if you can promise me youll keep your wife from calling customer service. I just want to know youve handled the situation so I dont have it come back later. I told him I didnt appreciate him trying to turn me on my wife so I told him we were going to call customer service and left with the accessories. Called customer service, they told me I was correct and they were VERY courteous and helpful. Told me they needed me to try going through the store again but if they kept trying to trick me to just call them back. I went back, they tried to pull the same crap on me, even with the note CS put on my account telling then to do it. I called CS and they took care of the fees and I got the store to refund the extras. I cancelled within my 14 days today. I suggest you use your 14 days wisely... PS if the store is reading this, prepare for a consumer complaint through the Utah AGs office. Its coming fast for your fraud.

I figured I would give Verizon another shot with the first time being a total bust and being told incorrect info w/ the person losing all my info. Now, the 2nd time round being a reasonable experience from the beginning and hoped I had all my info in place w/ a great rep. The girl set my appt to come back to complete the transfer process and she end up being unavailable and I feel like my time was wasted. So another person helped again to process my credit info the 2nd time since the first person was unavailable. By this time I was upset because I was told different info than the first time and I find this to be very inconvenient and such a waste of my time. Everytime I go here, I just feel taken advantage of. Ive been lied to all three times I went here. Ive been lied to about my phone, my plan and accessories. I went in one time and four people offered to sell me a case and when I went in three days later, the man who sold me a phone had no idea who I was. Do yourself a favor and go to Best Buy, and beat this money trap.

Very difficult getting any service . Understaffed at peak hours. Waited and hour when they told me I had a 20 minute wait to expect. Went back a second time and was told to expect a 30 minute wait. Just not a good store to try to get service.
