The food was amazing and the customer service was superb! But the food is very pricey. I ordered a plate of 3 pieces each of turkey tail, pork sausage, and lamb chops, with white rice and my total was about $37. But i still bought it because I couldnt resist the delicious food. I guess you can say its worth my money though because I had a clean plate after π
Something about some home made Samoan food. This place gets you that something to satisfy that craving. Thanks!
My first time there today and almost threw up with the old smell of food/oil mixed surrounding. It didnt look like its very sanitized inside either. The food presented itself well but they need to air out or have ventilation so the rotten smell and the aroma is not lingering around the place. I bought two plates with very small portions (without starch) with a pan of coconut rolls. No offer to add or minus anything from plates. To my dismay the coconut rolls were a bit old as the server said it was baked today. I know how breads and rolls look like and taste like a day later. I will try this place one more time and hopefully I wont be fooled again. I have not had any stomach upsets yet. Its okay to be honest sometimes.
Recommend for a lot of Polynesian Family and Friends they got Manapuas the best manapua I have ever tasted since the Islands man Tbh !
They are back with good eats and consistent! The real deal! The owners regularly travel to Samoa to import real authentic Samoan ingredients. Little Mom and Pop store with a little Deli area. They are very nice and helpful. The main reason i come here is for the Chop Suey, YUM! recommend
I went here last week with my Sister to try out their food and to my surprise it was very delicious! We will definitely visit them again soon! And to the girls who where there working last Thursday I want to say thank you for the awesome customer service! I highly recommended this place.
The only real Polynesian food in the valley. Its almost a 30 minute drive for me and definitely worth the gas. The food is delicious and you get a good amount for the price. They also have some grocery items there too. Service is wonderful. 10/10 Would recommend.
I love that I can get a plate of amazing food and pick up a few things at the market. I was welcomed SO warmly and was immediately helped. Everyone made this palagi feel right at home. I got a mixed plate with taro, green bananas, chop suey, salted corned beef, and Chicken wing Curry.... I was in heaven!
Got some food today. Delicious curry, stir fry, and Turkey tail. The taro is so good. And portions are very generous. One of the only places I can find my tea biscuits. The prices are awesome. Store is small but the food is an awesome find. Definitely a place to stop by for home made polynesian food.
Great food, good service...
We got SO much food for what we spent. Literally everything we got was good. The chicken teriyaki, poke, chop suey, taro, etc. The lamb curry was amazing, the lamb was unbelievably tender. Im sure their ponipopo and koko are delicious as well, they were just out by the time we got there. I was a bit bummed because that stuff is my favorite!
Food was sooo damn good.
The worst Ive ever been too. I bought almost $40 worth of food and dumped it all in the trash. It looked old and the taro smelled really bad.Food seemed to have been siting there for several days. The inside was very unsanitary looking and floors seemed to have never been swept. Will never be returning to this place nor recommend it to families and friends. A great disappointment. Its just sad.
I was going to order lunch to pick up for my family today. When I asked about an online menu the woman who answered the phone directed me to facebook, which doesnt have a clear menu from which to order. I asked if I could call in my order once we have decided, if I had actually found a menu, but she told me just to come in. Well be eating lunch from somewhere else today. Maybe well try to stop by when were out and about someday. The food has good reviews, but theyre online/phone service could use a little help.
As a poly I love this place. Food is amazing. Their daughter who usually serves us is just kind and wonderful. Most of the treats are usually gone in the morning but lunch and dinner is available until they close at 6pm on Mon Tues and 7/8pm on Wed to Sat
Best poly late around!!! Hot and fresh! On top of that the baked goods are to die for! German buns are the BEST! Keke puaβa was on point and musubiβs the kids devoured. Definitely a staple.
Has a lot of the treats from Polynesian countries. Great local food. This is a whole Im the wall kind of place that you stumble upon by accident, but are happy you did. This is one of the best places to get food in town. Its worth passing a lot of the places on the way to get here and try it out.
Whenever Im in Salt lake city, this is the Samoa food store I stop at. Food never disappoint. I always love eating here! The price a fair for the amount of food you get. Very friendly customer service. Keep up the awesome job. And you bet Ill be here again when I come around!!! ππ€π€π½
I always enjoyed getting my fresh food from here, I understand with the virus going on things are hard to come by. My son turning 8 tomorrow only wanted one thing for his bday dinner and Google had this place I guess under different name searches and I always go here to get my food same with my whole family, unfortunately I called today got told no fresh taro leafs till Friday but then a different name came up on Google with a number and the lady recognized my voice or search for the same thing and hung up on me before I could ask her about corn beef or coconut milk going there for yrs Im disappointed in that and Ill happily take my money elsewhere plus my family which I already spoke to about this issue. Being tongan and a big bday party sher could have stayed on the phone long enough to see what else I needed. Iv been going to this store for yrs now but no more. I cant believe someone would hang up in the middle of a customer asking about other products being online says take out only Shame I needed to order more their loss in business. So take note dont hang up on someone wanting to place a big order thats been a customer for yrs. You lost a not just me but my whole family. I was warned because of cultural differences but was always treated good till now. Im happy to spend my money else where. Your welcome!
Delicious hot foods and wonderful service.
Great food
The food we had was tasty! I had lamb ribs, beef stew, and taro/bananas. My friend had the turkey tail and loved it. Thank you to the owners! Well be back!
I loved my plate from this store. The food was perfectly done and it was delicious. I am from Vegas and I happened to be in Utah on the day this store opened. The pretty boy behind the counter was very friendly and his gorgeous smile made me bought more food. He and the Little Polynesia store gave us something to go back for very soon. The chicken and the Beef Teriyaki was the divine. Thank you Little Polynesia and we look forward to seeing you again.
Id never had Polynesian food before this, so I was definitely cautious about trying it for the first time, especially not knowing what anything was. I shouldnt have worried! I ordered 5 different items (I didnt know how to pronouce 3) and everything tasted awesome. The staff was very friendly and Id definitely go back. Large portions. Definitely recommend the Turkey tail!
Ordered 4 plates with a variety of items and they were all delicious!!!! First time there and will go back again!
Enjoyed my plate of food. The store needs upgrading inside and expansion for more room.
Best Polynesian food!!!
Authentic, delicious hot plates served by friendly people. Prices are very reasonable on the imported food items as well. Wish I lived closer so I can visit more often.
Food was pretty delicious. It was pretty pricey tho. $16 for a plate. It was good tho.
The best of the best in Polynesian eats (except the keke puaa). Service is great and the food is AWESOME! Malo lava!
It ok, market with some unique items, mostly NZ poly products. Ready made food was OK but didnt seem recently made or that it possibly came out of a can. I wont bother returning, unless I need a lot of NZ canned corned beef.
Hands down the best poke I have eaten. Happy people. Good food.
Highly Recommended!! Best Samoan food in the the Valley! Hands Down
Made us some Hawaiian style Lau Lau for a party, and it was fantastic. Super helpful and prompt in helping us make it in the style that we wanted. Great people!
Hot food was oh so good it got me missing my moms home cooking..and the freshly made cocoβ€β€β€mmm delicious..
Awesome staff, teryaki chicken is very good rice, sausage, all good. Taste like a nice home made polynesian dinner.
The food plates used to be big,but now they are small, pricey, and old.
Loved coming in! My hubby loves this place; it was my first time in and I was impressed! The workers were SO friendly, made us feel like family. Food was fantastic--authentic and good. Poke, chicken teriyaki, taro, and lamb curry were fantastic. Im sure their koko and ponipopo was delicious too, they were just out by the time we got there. Call ahead so they can set what you want aside! Fun to see the items in their store as well, just like what you get in Samoa.
Proud to be a polynesian/ food π
SINCE BEING BACK IN UTAH AFTER YEARS OF BEING GONE BEEN WANTING REAL SAMOAN FOOD AND THIS PLACE IS BY FAR THE BEST HAD LUNCH TODAY WITH MY DAD HERE AND IT WAS SOOO GOOD....LEAVE IT TO MY DAD TO KNOW WHERE TO GET SAMOAN FOOD LOL DEFINATELY RECOMEND THIS PLACE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK ππππ
The food was tasty but it look like it had been sitting there or a few days.
Great food great products and super friendly staff.
I dont have to miss Samoa so much, now that I have found this place. I drive from Clearfield to get the good eats here.
Im from Vegas and today was my first time here and definitely not the last. Great staff and great food and thank you Kamila that was the best faiai fee and I cannot wait to get to my hotel so I can tear this mamoe, mulipipi, sososi and kalo up to the roof. Lol. NO THANK YOU I DONT NEED HELP I GOT THIS πππππππ
Best place to eat some real traditional Samoan food. The family (Im guessing) that runs it are very friendly, especially the mom and pop (again Im guessing) that are there to cook and serve. We had the fasi povi, sapa sui, sosisi, beef curry, mamoe, falifo kalo and muli pipi in a sweet & sour sauce. I had rice on my plate and they gave me a hefty portion of it. This is our new go to place on paydays, lol.
The real deal! The owners regularly travel to Samoa to import real authentic Samoan ingredients. This is a Samoan run store, so while they carry Polynesian goods, its focus is on Samoan items and specialities. Where else can you find freshly frozen cocoa Samoa from the island of Samoa? Most cocoa Samoa is almost always dried out and the actual cacao bean is sometimes not even of Samoan origin. Youβll find this store has it all for those islanders and Utahns looking for speciality items grown from Samoan soil, like dried Kava root. Some places sell Polynesian goods cheaper, but they are usually Asian import items not grown in Samoa, let alone in the Polynesian islands. If youβre buying import items here, itβs because youβre wanting a true product that came from the island Samoa, or was grown in Samoan soil. The owners make an honest effort to deliver freshlyImported Samoan goods. Nevertheless withstanding, they also provide some mean Samoan food. Itβs one the few places whereyou can get some delicious Samoan food. My favorite is the Panopano (Butter Fish or Pampano Fish), which is braised in delicious Asian-Samoan ingredients. Youβll find lunch time is its busiest for food and high demand items like the Palusami (baby taro leaf, slow cooked in coconut cream and onions) go fast. If you decide to stop by I recommend you ask the owners Mr and Misses Fafai, what days and times they carry certain food items to avoid leaving empty handed. They can also prepare in advance regularly if you ask nicely. They also have Authentic Samoan jewelry and accessories.
Great food great service great food go for it

The Pacific Seas (The Tongan place) is a foodie. You pay so much and they dont even want to put anything on your plate π£. If the Koga people dont spend their money, they will be better off wasting money here, but Silis food supply will be bad. If you take the food, or if it means they are skinny and dont know how to do it. Everytime I go there, I dont jump on the locker.
