The people that work here are extremely accommodating and friendly! It seems like they want whats best for the customer. I ran into an issue where I had to do some work to my car so it could pass inspection and they were able to get it in that day. I sat in the waiting room for an hour which seemed reasonable for a full diagnostics report. After they looked at it they quoted me $3500 to pass inspection. They said I needed a new high pressure oil pump amongst other things. The pump was $350 with $1000 in labor. I told them that I needed a second opinion so I brought it to a specialty shop that only works on German cars. I told them what I needed and the guy said he sees this issue a lot and that I only needed to replace a gasket that failed in the pump. I had this specialty shop do all the work. Once everything was fixed my bill came to $700 instead of $3500.00. Now I just go to Speedcraft instead of Balise for my normal maintenance and the specialty shop for anything else. If I could I would give most of the employees at Balise 5 stars because they are easy going and very accommodating. Instead I give the place 2 stars. They either had the knowledge to fix the issue for much less but decided to just charge me the max price or they didnt have the knowledge at all.

I was recently in a car accident and needed to get a new vehicle pretty quickly. Adams was incredibly knowledgable and ready to help. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for or what questions I should be asking, but he still seemed to still have all the answers. He is incredibly friendly and easy to talk to which helped make buying a car quite a fun experience (which is impressive considering the circumstances). I had such a great experience working with Wade when I bought my car. He made the process seamless and not at all stressful. He took the time to walk me through the car and show me all of the features and how to use everything. Simply the worst buying experience I’ve encountered. From the overweight “finance manager” who aggressively pushed unwanted options like paint protection and many other ridiculous things that only benefited the dealerships bottom line.So if you don’t enjoy obnoxious typicality poor dealership behavior making car buying agonizing then avoid this dealership. After a friend had drove my car they felt that my brakes were swishy. I brought it in, The car checked out. I was given the All set, brakes are fine and off I went. I returned a few weeks later, I had taken a job across country. I wanted to be extra sure everything was ok. My daughter would be with me driving for 2500 miles. I needed to know now if there was anything I needed to take care of . Again, everything checked out, brakes are fine. After arriving here I began to hear a low growling sound when braking while traveling through some pretty remote mountain areas. I tried to tap my brakes when possible, but Im traveling through a large mountainous area, a long way from where I could get assistance. Here its hours between towns. Once I got to a safe place after many calls I was able set up an appt.only three days out. When I brought the car in, the guys were amazed at the condition of the brakes. I saw them, I needed to have new rotors pads everything, they were in real bad condition, $650. They only shook their head and explained this didnt happen in a week. If Balise had done their job I could have gotten away with new pads.Thanks Balise.

LOST TRUSTI went to Balise VW wanting to purchase a 2017 Maxima. I took it to my mechanic to check out, and he told me the Rear Main Seal had a leak. Once back at Balise I told the sales rep., who said he will have their mechanics take a look. Next day the sales rep. called saying, The mechanic said oil could have possibly dripped from someone pulling out the dip stick, and the oil cap was a little loose. Nothing is wrong with it. I accepted that answer but still took the vehicle back to my mechanic a week later. He raised the car and we looked together at a fresh oil drop hanging from the transmission. This is when my mechanic said, They lied. This is fresh oil, that means it is leaking. And see this seal? Someone did a sloppy job fixing it. If you buy it, the labor to fix it is between $1200 and $1800.With this information I brought the car back, and after some unhelpful words from the sales rep., I contacted a manager.Conclusion: Balise VW said they can fix the car which would cost $1,450. But, I would have to pay half in addition to the FULL asking price of the vehicle. Umm, no thank you. 2 stars because Mike, the sales manager, stepped in and was able to assist in the matter and was more pleasant to work with.

Got a vehicle sold out from under me BUT they found another vehicle with 30,000 less miles for the same price. I was shocked to say the least. Definitely apologetic and worked hard to get me the car I wanted. The staff there were really good people. The finance manager definitely was down to earth and definitely was not pushy. Adams was a good sales person to work with. Would definitely buy another car from them.

Im happy to edit this review with this update.Original Review: Paid $81 to have locking wheel lugs replaced - so I could get new tires on the car - because two service techs, standing in the service bay, didnt bother to ask if I knew where to look for the lug lock or point out where its stored in the car (not obvious) to me. My fault for not knowing, sure, but come on. Its not even specified in the owners manual. Then I emailed the automated response I got from filling out the feedback survey, asking if I wanted to post to Google reviews, directly to the Balise VW Service Manager and got no response. So - heres my review. Certainly not worth the drive from Providence. Still get their aggressive sales emails, calls and letters, offering me great deals that I would absolutely not qualify for, so theres that.

I went in for a rust warranty claim on a VW which developed rust under the 12yr rust warranty period. Pictures were taken of the rust spots on my car and my appointment notes indicated I was there to have rust looked at. They cant seem to find the pictures thiugh my appointment is on record. They never got back to me, no calls or email, even Theresa from their corporate customer retention department admitted that there was no proper follow-up and someone had neglected their job.Now, my car is out of the warranty period and my claim was denied. I got in touch with VW of North America and it was escalated to the regional manager. So far, all theyve done is attempt to have the service manager of Balise, Bill get in touch with me to try to rectify the situation. I already attempted to call him multiple times and Ive been continuously ignored.My current VW is the 4th VW Ive bought in the last 5 years or so, Ive been a loyal VW customer to this point but after my current experience with Balise and the lackluster response from VW of North America, Im not sure I plan to buy another VW. They wasted my time at the dealership, theyve ignored my phone calls and VW of North America doesnt seem to care to actually do anything about it.

The first thing I did once I got my car home from this dealership was to throw away the license plate frames that they put on the car. The car was promised to be ready by 10am, when I showed up at 11:10 it hadn’t been touched. I was told 15-20 minutes for the car to be detailed. It was started on 40 minutes later and the detailing of the car basically consisted of a wash. When I saw the car after it was completed, I went into talk to the manager about the poor job they did and the delay (No wax, no buffing) he couldn’t even get out if his chair to take a look at. I left went to get in the car only to find puddles of Armorall all over the drivers mat and the dashboard half cleaned. These guys are great to deal with when the want your money, making great promises but lack leadership and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction. I’ve placed a call to the GM; no response. I won’t be back. Good luck

When I initially thought they didnt have the Golf that I was looking for in stock he and the manager Taft called me right away when a new lease turn-in became available. Although I was less than thrilled with the experience of a mal-functioning air conditioning system in a car with about 2K miles; with that said, Balise does an awesome job. I have bought about 7 cars from Fiore/Balise and what keeps me coming back is the service department. They are all awesome. I was offered a loaner 1/2 way through the process so I could do errands and get lunch; was not expecting that. While the car required an overnight stay, I kept the loaner.

I was looking to trade my lease for a new SUV. Wade gave me all my options and worked with my budget. I was able to trade my lease and drive off with a new SUV same day. Heleno worked fast and efficiently to get my documents processed. All the new technology in my SUV was explained and the car was immaculate. This is my third purchase with Balise and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a streamlined and transparent car buying experience.

I went with my step daughter on 7/20/2019. She was interested in one of the CPO hatchback TDI Beetles the dealership had. We worked with Bob-who was very nice and knowledgeable about the product he was showing us. She test drove 2 of them, picked the one with lower miles, and it was time to talk numbers. The following is why I am only giving this dealership 1 star: The one we picked was a 2014 yellow stick shift. It had very low miles but no sunroof, no fender sound system, and no floor mats. The listed price was 14,900. I had already looked at this car online and checked Edmunds, KBB, NADA, and CarGurus. The absolute highest value for that car as a CPO was $14096. I asked Bob why the car was listed at the current price. He spoke with his Sales Manager, came back and said it was because the car was certified and that was the best the would be able to do. I replied that at that price, we would not be pursuing the car (I was only researching/looking at CPO). He went and again spoke to the sales manager, came back and said that would be the lowest they would go. 2 things that bothered me about this: first, I had only asked them to come down to the $14000 that- I believe- Edmunds had the car priced at. But mostly, I was really disgusted that the sales manager never came to introduce himself, explain the price at all, NOTHING. Needless to say, we left. Another interesting note: we never actually told them we were interested in 2 cars that day. I wanted to look at the 2014 TDI Beetle convertible they had for myself. I was going to talk to the salesman after my step daughter was squared away. They did us a favor though, the very next day we went to a dealer a little farther away from us, got both cars at MUCH better prices. The convertible for $2k less than Balises the same year with less miles, an automatic, and the fender sound system. The hatchback for my daughter is 1 year older, slightly more miles with an automatic and a sunroof for $5k less. So thank you to Balises sales Manager for being absolutely horrible at your job. and Im sorry Bob, that you lost 2 commissions that day. I recently discovered Balise VW while searching the internet for parts. My local dealer is lackluster when it comes to customer service and people skills aside from no online parts and having to pay list price for parts, even after purchasing a vehicle from them.Matt in parts is very pleasant to speak with on the phone, articulate too with assembling and managing the orders. Ive now placed several orders and thus far have encounters zero issue with accuracy, packaging or arrival. I even made a trip to their dealership in RI to see them in person and was very impressed.They even server real cream with their coffee in the lounge! Its the little things that matter so keep up the good work and I will see you again soon!

I ownt a 2014 Volkswagen GLI for about four years now. Everybody that I have spoken to throughout the past couple years when I asked them why is this car so loud under the hood they tell me that’s just the way they are. I brought the car back to police Volkswagen after a recall done and I said to Billy it’s getting louder, he said let’s make an appointment drop it off we’ll figure it out. Two days later I show up the car is done the car is silent great job to the police Volkswagen service Billy thank you and thank all your technicians

Everything about my recent visit was outstanding! Went down to test drive a 2017 CPO Passat, when I walked in the door I was greeted immediately by Mike Maymon who was very friendly and personable, pulled up the vehicle within minutes of arriving, outstanding customer service! The thing I liked the most about the experience was how pressure free the car buying decision was for me that night. I didn’t feel coerced or pressured into making a decision prematurely. Very straightforward and to the point. When it was time to pick up my vehicle a week later, coming from MA, I called Mike and let him know that I was running late after work and probably couldn’t make it before closing. He insisted I still come down that night, and offered to stay late for me because he knew how important that moment was, as it was my first car purchase. Ended up getting down to West Warwick about 45 mins after Balise closed down and saw Mike waiting with my car in the parking lot. Great guy, really happy I chose to do business with Balise. My car itself is running great, enjoy the apple car play feature very much on my Passat R-Line with leather seats, man that thing is a beast!

If I Could give Adam 6 stars I would he was very patient and helpful to my husband who is hearing impaired, we went in justlooking and drove home in car we could we could not be happier with..everyone we dealt with knowledgeable and made us feel that we got the best deal we could I will be recommending Balise to my sister .

I came into this location on a Thursday evening and met with Ben, one of the sales representative. He was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I ended up leaving with a really nice Volkswagen and I’m very happy with the car and the customer service I received. Ben made my transaction very smooth and hassle free. I didn’t expect to be able to drive my new car home the same day but Ben made it happen! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend anyone looking to purchase a new car to come to this location and see Ben!

I would never buy an automobile from this dealership again! I have owned four Volkswagens in my life time and no dealership took advantage of me like this one. I bought my car in March 2015.I have good credit . They offered me a 4.400100 simple interest loan. I foolishly agreed to this. The interest accrues daily...NO reason to have done this especially since I paid off a zero percent loan on the Volkswagen I was turning in which was in excellent condition! I lost all the way around!

Sammy was FANTASTIC! We came with our 5 year old and were nervous how well he would behave. Sammy kept him entertained and went out of his way to put kid friendly TV on in the waiting area while we were doing paperwork. He even got our little guy not one but TWO balloons! Went to buy a Golf Sportwagen 6 Speed TDI once test driving the car I noticed the tires had flats from sitting for 2 years since they stopped selling these due to VW cheating emissions and getting caught red handed. These just recently were approved for sale again after that huge fiasco with a great $5000 rebate and 0.0 % promotion offer.The car had a bad drive train shake. When I felt it I told the sales man and asked them to replace the tires before me signing on the dotted line they said the tech said nothing was wrong. My safety was in jeopardy and the best they had was the $10 an hour tech said its good to go so my life is in his hands. GEE THANKS VW.Needless to say this place was shady and I contacted VW of America to file a compliant since according to VW Warranty for the TDI, tires are supposed to be replaced by headquarters with no charge to the dealer themselves if they have noise after road testing which it did the whole time I drove the car. Balise VW of Warwick is the worst and Steve the Sales Manager/Finance guy and Wade the Salesman are top the list to stay away from.

Just wanted to say about a month ago I came to this dealership for service and for a quick stroll in the showroom and was greeted by eli and although I told him I was not buying, he still took the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate this place and the manager I spoke with!
