As Always, Everytime I go in Everyone is Always so Friendly and Helpful. I was lost for a min because I wasnt grabbing my usual items and multiple employees came to my rescue. The guy at the deli was very considerable when I told him I was shopping for an elderly client, gave me all the options and let me choose!
But they have closed for good. What a shame. Now the only decent grocery store in the area is Kroger and they sure arent that good. Walmart and Meijer need to up their quality as far as Im concerned if they want to compete in the area of Lewis Center.
Wonderful produce! Friendly staff. The staff and shoppers were wearing masks. Selection not as huge as other grocery stores but found everything I needed.
Food.Yum.Me man.Hunt food.Feed house tiger too.Meal good.Yum.Food.
Always easy to park, locate food, and checkout. Store employees are usually friendly and helpful.
Store was clean and shelves were well stocked for the most part.
Ebony always brightens my day when I see her!! Awesome staff and customer service👍🏻
I am not normally a Giant Eagle shopper but stopped in for convenience. Its a lovely, clean store. Many fresh food options that smell amazing with more pre-packed to take & heat. Their deli was extensive with friendly staff. They carry multiple options for any product you may be looking to grab. 4 stars because it is much more expensive than any other grocery stores in the vicinity. Its a Gucci Kroger. Its nice for quick stops but Ill take Marcs any day for my regular shopping.
I got burned. The one time I didnt keep my receipt, I ended up with the inedible. I bought their G.E. brand breaded pacific cod (4 square pieces) for around $9. When I bought it, I noticed it seemed rather lumpy and icy. I thought it was full of ice but wow...when I eventually opened it and took a closer look, albeit 2 weeks later, it was obvious that they had a freezer failure and the thing was basically cod mulch...demolished and useless. You couldnt even discern where the patties start and stop...completely fused.
Reasonably priced, well stocked grocery store. Loses a star because you cant check out without one of their store cards. Im new to town, and didnt expect that. Cashier swiped a store card, but no one bothered to mention how to get their customer card. Probably wont go back often just for that reason.
This is my favorite local grocery store. Always clean and organized, staff is always friendly. Today the two girls working at Starbucks were very kind. I also really appreciate that you have somebody sanitizing the carts.
Every time I go to giant eagle I leave angry. Self checkout UI is awful. I dont want to fight with a advantage card lookup to buy one item. I dont shop here because of high friction user interface.
Great place to shop for groceries. All shelves were well stocked. Employees were all customer oriented. 👍
Giant Eagle is an organized well stocked store. Great experience.
Not impressed at all, prices are way too high unless it is on sale. Will not go back
Always find everything I need and there are always nice people to help me.
Clean space, employees hvea mask on and they always clean after each customers
I like that they still have the one way aisle. That would be great even without covid.
I love Giant Eagle for their customer service, their fresh meats are SO much better than other grocery stores, and displayed in such a nice manner so you can see all meats and not covered up like some stores. Bough pork chops today and they are not lying on top of each other like some stores do theirs.
I used curbside pickup service. I like that they texted me to let me know items that were unavailable. I called them and they made my desired substitutions and even added items I had forgotten to my order... and they did it with kindness. Good customer service!
I work there and the people are very friendly and nice and caring and the food is good too
I love the smaller size of this location for quick in and out. Great produce, wine and meat selection! Not a fan of the one-way isles but hopefully not for too much longer....
Seafood dept great! Fresh crab cakes and wild cod. Great value!
Shared some corn bread recipes with a few cashiers. Im always happy when theres a bit of personal connection, especially during these times.
Good stuff for lunch
Good people, clean store. This is my go-to store for everything (except liquor) and i will drive out of the way to shop here.
Better to prices on cheese
Well placed products.
Good experience, they have alot of stock and items most places dont carry right now.
The people in the store are very helpful and friendly.
Its a good Giant Eagle
Smaller store, has good selection of items
Very helpful pharmacy staff.!
I enjoy the employees they are friendly but I get most my bday cakes from here prices are great and the product is terrific
Best place to grocery shop, esp if need special time. Very organized and clean. Thank you giant eagle.
This is got a lot of good Italian food Scott a kitchen their fried chicken beets and I fried chicken around here that Ive had. Its very good at usually very fresh their Olive bar there salad bar very fresh you can go in for groceries for foods prepare all rack already prepared. Whatever you need their meat prices are decent I like in the store because I can do my shopping and a branch of my bank Huntington is in this store
Giant Eagle has always been a step up from most other grocery stores and because of that youll see it reflected in the prices. Youll also find unique items and brands not typically found elsewhere. This location was clean, organized and well staffed. Its not my usual store, but I would shop there again for sure.I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to their pricing ...... Its the only issue Ive ever had with Giant Eagle.
Another grocery store!
Pharmacy is my favorite. The store is well stocked and maintained. The checkouts suck. There is often a line at the one or two checkouts. They have self checkout but I wont use them until I get an employee discount for playing Jr checkout clerk.
Have been going here for years for groceries. Their perks program is great. They have a good selection of gift cards which is convenient. I have used their curbside program several times and love the convenience of it. Their store brand is pretty good too (much better than Kroger store brand in my opinion).
They have the best bakery. Their cakes are (Chocolate w/buttercream frosting is the best. I only buy my cakes from Giant eagle...
Their redbox is well stocked or just not used as much. Not sure but either way when I am looking for a movie and the others in the area are out this one seems to have them. Clean bathrooms for the most part.
They are so clean and courteous
Great people and all the groceries you need
I purchased the pot pies from hot foods section. They looked amazing. When I got home I was amazed at how little they weighed. Neither had more than a third of a cup of filling. What filling they did have was dry, no gravy/sauce.it filled the tin at about 1/8-1/2 deep. I will Never buy them again.on a good note, the crust was good
Great supermarket. Good selection for fresh fruits and vegetables. Staff very helpful. Some things are pricey.
Best online shopping experience in Westerville, far ahead of the other groceries with their pickup/delivery services.
I didnt caught the young men that helped me. But i couldnt find anything and I just needed a few things but they were so helpful. I appreciate there kindness
Good but expensive
Just another not many organic non gmo optioned grocery store.
They have a decent selection considering theyre limited on space. Curbside pickup is available.
NEVER go in this store on a weekend when the kids are working.i understand high school drama, but pay attention to what you are doing. Something was going on with one of the employees, my cashier didnt pay any attention to me, but kept saying Kenneth, what did you do to her? She never once tried to engage in conversation with me. Due to almost this drama, she bagged about 6 pounds of bananas, 2 jars spaghetti sauce and a couple other items in a bag. The bag handles store and I had to do her job when I got to my car. After the transaction, her words, Thanks! Threw my receipt my way and turned around to run and find out from Kenneth what he had done. WORSE SERVICE AROUND!!!!! We shop there quite often, might have to find another store. Yes, kids are kids when they are at school, but in the real world they need to adult a little bit more.
Every time (not exaggerating) I go to the Foods For Now section of the store (by the deli meats) there is never anyone available to help. I always have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for someone to show up. Excuses Ive heard: Sorry, I didnt see you. Sorry, I thought you were already helped. Today it was Sorry, I was just getting off break (but she still had time to stop and chat with people by Starbucks.). I guess I should be thankful theyre at least saying Sorry.
Always a clean & courteous experience. We now live in Florida, so we miss Giant Eagle. Shopping here makes for a nostalgic trip to the market. Next vacation home, well definitely be back.
Big store with a small town feel. Nice employees. I wish it was a GE Marketplace.
Great beer selection. Checkout lines always slow, however. Even using self checkout, if you dont have Giant Eagle card, youll have to wait for an employee to scan one for you.
Every first Friday of the month there is an AWESOME wine/beer tasting...Its a Giant Eagle, so you know it is going to be a little higher quality but also a little pricier than similar grocery stores...This particular locations layout sucks, though, so expect to spend 20-50% more time navigating the floor and trying to find your items. Also, produce section is sandwiched between the deli and bakery and directly abuts the wine section--in fact, the wine section is almost as large as the produce section...this tells you a little about their produce selection at this location (almost none), especially when you consider 25% of the section is dedicated to organics and almost 25% is dedicated to prepped (bagged salads, etc) produce...The competing Kroger has similar challenges, though.
Its been awhile since Ive shopped here and the new location of the credit card reader is just completely stupid. Not going to do that again.
Good discounts! saved $104.00 on $500 plus order, 20% in perks. And $40 in weekly specials and coupons.
This is a nice store with a good grocery selection. Their prices are a bit higher than their local competitors but service is on par with their local competitors. Produce is always fresh. Meat and seafood is very good and worth the trip.Make sure you check any gift card receipts. Ive had two to Cheesecake Factory (on separate occasions) that I bought for $100 dollars and $50 that had NO balance when I went to Cheesecake Factory to get dinner. (Which Id already ordered and was picking up.) Will never buy gift cards at Giant Eagle but will shop there if I need something they carry that others dont -- for example, their anchovies are better than Wal-Marts.
People were so friendly and very helpful. We both use wheelchairs and they look out for us and help us alot. Even the customers are very helpful. Today one of the wonderful cashiers paid for our ribs and brat that they cooked outside. We were very blessed.
They have made a lot of improvements in their produce dept and their butcher shop provides excellent service. However there is never enough full service checkout registers open. You pay full service prices at GE and yet you have to use self service checkout....CRAZY!
This store has more than the usual grocery store
Friendliest cashiers but the prices are much more than competitors
Decent friendly staff willing to help find what you want
I think Giant Eagle has to be one of the cleanest grocery store chains in the business. They may not be the cheapest store around, but its always a good experience shopping their. Plus, their curbside service is a great addition.
I just have to say that Ive had great experiences every time Ive been here and today Robin at the Starbucks inside made my day! She gave great costumer service and was so helpful! Happy Wednesday!
This is a beautiful grocery store. My first time visiting
Poor. Got there to pick up an order placed online. Arrived 20 minutes early. They told me that the order was ready, but policy states that they could not release it until the time of the order. When I said I had picked up early in the past they said that I should not have been aloud to and that they would not bring the order out for another 20 minutes. They actually made me wait another 35 for an order that was ready when I arrived.
Excellent choices of fine foods (American deli, Italian/Mediterranean Olive bar, Seafood deli, imported and fresh meals- roast beef, Chicken Alfredo, etc. Deli meats, Beef Deli) there is even a Starbucks, but its the young local workers that are very friendly and personable and knowledgeable of store sales and policies which makes the trip to the grocery that much more enjoyable!!!
Love all the buy one get one free they been having. Just saved forty cents on gas. People are nice and friendly and the store is clean
Went to smell what Honor was cooking!! They have a cookout every holiday. Honor made great ribs, brats, and hot dogs! Highly recommend you stop by the Westerville Giant Eagle and try some.
Personally, I think they’re an overpriced food chain. However, they have everything I need.
My favorite place to shop😀
I like this giant eagle. They have all the basics and getting in and out is simple. A lot of the new giant eagle stores offer a more craft selection.
Bakery looked great clerrk at barery. Meat front went out of their way to help
Sorry guys.. Its pricey and the options and freshness for vegetables, meat and fish is getting worse. The only reason were still going here instead of the Kruger across the street is habit and convenience. I hope theyll turn it around..
It is a very nice store and never crowded. But it is the most expensive place to buy groceries in the area. That is why I never shop there.
Everything is always clean and neat.I could not find a case of soda water, the lovely cashier offered to send someone to find it but I didnt want to bother. Very clean friendly place.
Great produce and meats but not a low price option unless stuff is on sale.
GetGo service station provides free air for auto tire inflation.
Great customer service! Staff is always friendly and willing to help! Store is very neat and clean. Prices are a little higher, but the sales are great.
Everything was easy to find, they had great special deals, and the employees were polite.
Always have great interactions with employees and selection of items is always good. Great beer variety too!
Limited variety of diet colas. No salad bar, due to COVID-19. Disappointing trip.
On 4/27, I bought a bunch of Chobani yogurts. Got home to find 2 of them had expiration dates of 4/3. Three and a half weeks is a big long to have expired product on the dairy shelf.Got to work the next morning and called the store to let them know. Spoke with manager on duty who asked which flavors were expired. Sorry, dont have them with me, but they might want to check all of them.
Great grocery shopping location! Fabulous quality place to shop for all your grocery needs. Good credit for gas purchases with every dollar spent in the grocery store.
Was Happy To Find Cooked Meal Deals I Could Heat And Eat Right There In The Dining Area. Associate Sheila Was Very Helpful. The Deal On The Large Sunkist Oranges Was Great Too
This GE feels small compared to the others in the city, but it has all the same stuff. It has a strange layout though. You kind of feel boxed in. They should have their plannogram person gut it and start from scratch. Its a lot like wandering through a labyrinth of food.
Clean. Stocked shelves. Great selections. Outstanding company representatives who take ownership and ensure your shopping experience is noteworthy time and again.
My favorite grocery store. Been going here for 8 or 9 years...lots of the same people been working there...nice to see the same people each week. Feels like hometown store.
Terrible service at the bakery. I ordered my sons full sheet birthday cake and I specifically asked for the baker to mark which side was chocolate and which side was vanilla. The gentleman who took the order in the store said they would mark it. I pick up the cake today and the girl in the bakery brought me the cake after complaining how heavy the cake was and set it on the cart. I asked her if the cake was marked for which side was chocolate and which was vanilla she told me I dont because the cake is too heavy too look but you could check it, and she walked away. Usually in the past when I have ordered a cake from everywhere else the baker always takes the time to show you the cake and answer any questions. With the very poor service I received here I will definitely not recommend nor will I ever order anything else from their bakery.
Always have the items I need on sale! Thanks GE!
The management and employees are very nice and helpful. A manager once allowed me to buy a single beer and gave me some free pepperoni bread. FIVE STARS!!!
Very nice clean store
The bakery young lady tonite was AWESOME. GREAT customer service
The store would honor prices as marked and had very poor customer service. Need someone older than 21 to handle customer concerns. Will never shop there again!!!!!! #worststoreever
Pros: Clean, organized store. Friendly customer service. Cons: higher prices
