Meijer on the weekend is always busy, but the store is always well stocked and merchandised.Todays visit necessitated a small selection of groceries, beauty supplies, and household organization items.While my wife was shopping for those items, I was filling up the car with fuel at the Meijer gas station. Using my Meijer credit card saved me $.10/gallon!All businesses are challenged with open positions. Things take longer, so be kind to all employees you see. Theyre making it possible for you to shop there!

I always enjoy shopping at meijers. And I can find everything I need. Being a senior its hard to get out so it makes it good that I can find everything in one place.

Shout-out to the wonderfully kind woman working in the liquor department who overheard me lamenting the lack of Buffalo Trace and went and found me the last bottle of my favorite bourbon.I wish I had asked your name because you definitely deserve a raise. Customer service on point.

Some items were not in stock, due to the supply chain having problems. They also have a shortage of cashiers, due to people not wanting to actually work or get jobs. I was looking for a hot sauce I found one similar to the one I wanted near the Mexican food. Then while walking down a different Isle I found the one I needed, why was it not near the Mexican food?

15 PEOPLE IN LINE for Self checkout! I JUST COUNTED. And about 7 to 10 inline for each register. And this is how it is EVERYTIME I SHOP. NO MORE MIEJER FOR ME.

Im here on a Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m.There are only 2 cashiers and the lines on 10+ long. Even the self scans are that long. You need more cashiers.

The gas station is the worst I’ve ever been to. The pumps never take credit cards and they are slow as hell.

Clean restaurant, they were moving pretty fast with most lanes open.

Lack of staff, only having 2 regular check-out lanes open and the remainder are self check-out. It makes it difficult for shoppers with large orders that shop alone, but other than that, good overall experience.

Good selection of groceries. They have a terrible selection of work boots for women. Literally it was an end cap with 2 choices.

Had a cart full of groceries, got in the 12 items or less line ( which was snaking down the middle aisle) wasnt till I was next in line that I realized it was for 12 or less.got in an appropriate line that kept getting held up by machine malfunctions!! Over and over...should have bought a pillow and blanket to catch up on some sleep while waiting🤪🤣🤣

Its a nice store and whenever I used to go the self checkout is a big plus and makes the experience much easier.

Bought a carharttt hoodie here, paid cash and lost the receipt. I tried to exchange for a smaller size but the “customer service manager” at the customer service desk scanned it and said that it wasn’t from this store. Okay, I understand not being able to exchange without a receipt that’s fine but dont tell me I’m lying and I didn’t buy it here. Because I did. Something is wrong with YOUR system. My boyfriend proceeds to go to the U scan to buy a different hoodie and the “manager” walked up to the u scan employee and gossips about me and our situation to her. He decided to leave the merchandise. This is extremely unprofessional, rude, and should be unacceptable from a “manager” that represents your store. I’m disappointed.

Meijer is quite good. There was no cola with meijer label and should have been there. But meijer westland is a decent place and there is no conflicts between shoppers. In general the stockers are the heroes who keep the supplies of the very multitudinous products available. Parking lots are spacious and I find a close parking space for handicapped drivers soon enough. There is a short supply of battery powered driver carts working. Several were out of service and toilets are a long long way from the food doors. But Meijers is pretty good as a place to buy as in a huge general store.

Literally just waited a hour inline. This place needs to hire people. Howd you expect elderly people to stand in line for a hour. How are my frozen grocery suppose to stay frozen in line for a hour. Get it together and start finding a new way to get workers in there. What a joke..

I walked in tonight and the lines were short but by the time I got to the check out they were down the isles with 3 cashiers open and the self check outs were open. I took my ice cream back and put it in the freezer as I knew it would be melted before I could get it out the door. I was in line to use a cashier and the self check outs were full. Just when i thought they were going to become like Walmart & Kroger with all self checkouts they opened 2 more registeres. I did not go back and get my ice creams but so appreciate this store. Nice cashiers and nice to shop at and I do 90 percent of my shopping there and not it will be 95 percent or more.

The place is always reliable, and usually has whatever Im looking for. Im a regular there. And Erika H. is an amazing employee. Patient and friendly.

I prefer going to the canton location over this one. It’s usually faster with checkouts and usually has things in stock. Also I heard it’s a corporate store so I guess that could be why the checkouts are faster.

Its a good store they have everything.Its expensive than Walmart.Do check price twice and compare its a good difference.

Only thing I see problem wise is the store needs more cashiers on lanes and could use more ez check out 12 item or fewer machines. I constantly see people waiting in long lines that go into the clothing isles. Just think how many more people would be buying these items if it wasnt inundated with irritated people waiting in the check out lanes.The employees are always courteous is a big plus.

Pricey compared to Walmart or Kroger. No one ever picks up the phone. Cashiers are really slow, there was one time I waited in line for literally 45mins to simply purchase a mountain dew after a long walk I had. Also wouldnt accept my friends military ID as a form of ID when he went to purchase alcohol despite a military ID being a valid form of identification in the ENTIRE COUNTRY. This place a joke, I stopped shopping here.

They sell dry ice. Not many places do. So thats good

Longer lines. Expect a 20 minute check out time watch your ice cream melt. At Meijer they have all the employees walking around as undercover security. They follow stare at you. They are so noticable its a total joke on there part. Why not upgrade your security cams ?

Managers need to get registered manned up. Tell your corporate stooges self checkouts do not service anyone but shareholders and screw the customers… not to mention it reduced the jobs in the community…. Never returning to this store.. there is more dignity in starving to death.

Pretty much all registers open but check out was slow due to the amount of people. Many products were out of stock. Disappointing.

I found everything I was shopping for easily and without difficulty. I was able to checkout without any wait whatsoever.

Self check out lanes were disgusting. Nobody cleans them. They are nasty tonight. Wonder who the management is? Sad.

1 employee for 10 self checkout Lanes. Everything was backed up, the employee should be commended for doing their best however 1 person for 10 Lanes is ridiculous.

That particular store ducks. Its never stocked so I usually go to Canton store which is always stocked.

This is the only Meijer I know off that always has a coin shortage. No express lanes unless you use card. At least a 15 min. wait in all checkouts. Very inconvenient. Plan at least an hour trip if you come here.

First time Ive seen Clorox wipes since March. It is so exciting!! Plus they had other cleaning items 🤗

Im visiting my home town. I went with my Mom. Found what I was looking for and more. Girls we know what thats about lol

I find almost everything I need here. They have groceries, home goods, craft items, toys, electronics, a large selection of liquor, and a pharmacy, along with a deli and seafood area. Sometimes the prices arent the best one around, but the convenience of everything being in one place can make up for that. We even found these really cool mario shoes there!

Absolutely insane, workers wandering around the store lines go from the registers to the back of the store and the only thing thats open is three check out line and the rest are self-checkout get it together Meijer dont be like Walmart or Ill stop shopping there too

Would give 0 stars if I could. I love meijer and always choose it over Kroger and Walmart. But after tonight I won’t be back to this location. Wait in the u scan line for 15 minutes only for the worker working u scan to close it 20 minutes early! She was extremely rude and it was really upsetting that she sent almost 30 people to the only 2 other check outs open.. then they come over the PA system saying if you’re not checked out by midnight you can’t check out. Okay?? How are you going to get almost 30 people with full baskets through 2 check outs in 20 minutes? You can’t. Step your game up meijer. Also teach your employees how to treat customers cause yelling at them rudely isn’t good customer service at all. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend and I certainly won’t be back. Walmart can have my money now

Overall this is a nice place to shop. They have a pretty good selection and keep everything in stock pretty well. The only issue Ive had is checking out. No matter what day or time Ive come, they only have 1-2 check out lanes open and at least 1-2 self-checkout terminals that arent working.

It was just like you think it would be on Christmas Eve in relation 2 how busy they were. But everyone was polite an seem to be in good spirits! We were in the Self check out for about 20-25 minutes with $210 worth of groceries all N all not bad for Christmas Eve. Stay safe stay Merry almost over.....🛒🍓🍤🍞

This Meijer is clean has some better clearance items. Restrooms should be a little better maintained given the health risks today. Every item is easy to find and faced and almost never out of place. Staff leaves me alone and I love that.

Two years ago we ordered a tray of chicken tenders for our daughter’s birthday party. When we arrived to pick up our order, the employees were completely unaware of our order. Fortunately, the employees were very kind and quickly prepared a large tray of chicken tenders for us.Today was a different story. We ordered a tray of chicken tenders for our daughter’s birthday, and when we went to pick them up today, AGAIN the employees were completely unaware of our order. I placed my order a week ago and I double checked my call log to make sure I ordered at the right location. The employee working this morning was extremely rude to my fiancé and was not able to accommodate us. Accidents happen and we are very understanding people, but for this to happen to us twice and for the employee to be rude to us and unwilling to help is completely unacceptable. We will never shop at this location again.

Thank you to the Meijers worker Gloria L. who kindly & patiently helped me pick out fish for my daughter for a half hour. Ive never experienced such attentiveness in local retail, & it felt so refreshing to be treated like an appreciated customer and not a bother. You really made me & my daughters day! I wish I had your picture to post because you are awesomeness!

Canton Meijer is my preferred location and I especially use the pharmacy a lot. The employees work hard to keep up with the demand for products on the shelves and to maintain cleanliness especially during the pandemic. Great pharmacy staff and retail employees!

The store was very well kept, and overall very pleasant to shop in. The best part of this particular experience was the facts that I used self checkout for 6 items, and for some reason my card was being declined due to an issue with my institution. I had cash to pay, but the self checkout was only accepting debit/credit. The lady in charge of the self checkout kindly took me to an open register and completed my purchase for me so I could use cash. She was very kind!

For the amount of people shopping here you would think they could give the place a facelift. I went into the Meijer in Birch Run the other day and wondered why our Meijer looks so run down. Invest in our Westland Meijer or we might make the drive to someplace nice like Buschs.
