For over twenty years, this has been my go to place. The people there are very helpful and nice. Yeah you might be able to get the part a little cheaper on-line but Id rather support this local business because talking to their staff and making sure I get the right part the first time is more important to me. I hope they stay in business for at least another twenty.
They were very helpful in fixing my dryer. I had someone from another company come out to see what was wrong with our dryer, he told me two things needed repair. He seemed fishy, so I went to APB and they told me how to figure out if I needed both parts repaired. They also said it was highly unlikely that both parts would need repair. They provided the part and walked me through how to fix it, and the dryer worked. That was several months ago.Now, the dryer wont start, and I just called to ask if they had any idea what the problem might be. They told me the most likely sources of the problem over the phone so I could check it myself. Nice guys over there. They seem genuinely interested in helping you fix your own appliances and not trying to sell you stuff you dont need.
Came in for a dryer belt for my Frigidaire double stack washer&dryer. Took the gentleman at the counter less then 15 seconds to find the exact one I needed. And it only cost me $15 dollars for the belt and 30 minutes to swap out. Saved me over $150 dollars quoted from a repair man. Cant beat that. Thanks A.P.B. and YouTube.
Ive found just one instance where online was cheaper. All other things APB has had them cheaper and available. Best service and lots of free advice from knowledgeable staff.
I have just read the reviews posted on Google. I am completely shocked. I have never taken the time to write a review or create a profile on any social network. After reading these reviews I just knew I had to create the profile to contradict all the negative reviews about APB. I have been using Appliance Parts Bank for about 20 years. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If you are a DIY person and slightly handy, they will walk you through trouble shooting and repairing appliances. They have saved me hundreds of dollars over the years in repairs on dishwashers, washing machines, dryers and bathroom vents. They have even told me when to replace a product, because the cost of repair would not be worth it. I agree that they do not accepts returns and as a present day consumer we have become comfortable buying an item and expecting to be able to return anything in any condition. They are not a large company i.e. home depot, or an on-line business operated out of a garage. I have always found their prices to be fair and have appreciated when they send me to another local business to buy a part.Bottom line if you need help repairing an appliance instead of calling the overly priced repairman, CALL the EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and HELPFUL people and APPLIANCE PARTS BANK
Just bought a main board for a GE refrigerator. Their price was less than I saw on internet sites. The part was in stock. The gentleman at the counter (and on the phone) was courteous and helpful. Best of all my refrigerator is working again and my wife is a happy camper.
WAY overpriced and NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON!!!!!. Maybe I can understand some restrictions if the item was special ordered, but it was in stock in their store. Once you walk out the front door, youre stuck. Found the same item online for half price, shipping included. DO NOT SHOP HERE, ITS A RIPOFF.
Buyer beware!!! Exorbitant Mark up and no returns.in addition the first part we purchased was not a genuine GE part as advertised it was an aftermarket repaired part which did not work. This we returned for a supposedly new GE part which again did not work.at this point we called the repair man who pointed out that we paid at least $200 more for our part and we should have, and who felt like our second part he supposedly authentic GE part in a sealed package also did not work. in addition they are and helpful and exhibit and extremely poor attitude. I am questioning if this part is even an entity part that we have now since we cannot get proof of that fromthem. Do not buy here.

I called and Stephanie answered. told her the symptoms that the dryer was spinning but no heat. I checked the igniter and it was good and I checked the gas valve coils. She said it might be the thermal fuse. Described exactly how where it was located. I took it out and tested it and sure enough if failed continuity test. Brought it down there and replaced it and voila, we have flame! Thanks Stephanie.
Fabulous experienceHad a broken water line for our refrigerator. She looked for several minutes and the Maytag parts info wouldnt give her the part number or photos. She suggested a new 90° and some new tubing. We bought the parts she suggested and headed home. Got to the house and the tubing was wrong size. We returned to the store with broken parts and she matched the tubing size and did an even exchange. All done with a smile.

Terrible experience. Waited for over 3 hours for their repairman to show up, and never did. When I called to ask if someone was still coming, the woman on the phone was argumentative. said no, we thought you would call back if you wanted us to do the job. I was told it wasnt their fault, I should have called.When I asked if they could still do the job, I was told only before 3:30. When I asked if there would be compensation for my wasted time, she giggled and said All I can do is apologize.
Pretty lame place. Slow service, not much inventory if parts so forget about getting what you need same day. Much better off to order online
