Very fast service, just didnt balance my wheels correctly. Weights are to be place in one position on a wheel. Otherwise the wheel is not truly balance

These are the only people I have found that will do an alignment COMPLETELY and balance tires correctly! The training they give their techs is very good. They are usually busy, so make an appointment and things should go smoothly. I work in the repair industry and, so you all know, not every vehicle is the same so dont expect it to always go like clockwork and be in immediately on time. Thats just not how the real world works in the mechanic field. Besides, to get the correct work done...its worth the wait.

I went in to get 4 new tires and the manager made sure to find me the best deal. Everyone was super friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact they werent trying to push getting more work done than just the tires. I definitely would recommend and will be going back.

Needed to get a set of four tires before the next snowstorm. I had called around to a few other places and they werent able to fit me in. I called Sears at noon and asked if they would be able to get my van in today. I dropped it off at 1:00. There were very busy so I expected a very long wait. I walked around the shops around in the area to kill some time. My van was done and ready to go in two hours. I was very happy with the service.
Bought $1000 worth of tires and alignment a couple of months ago, and woke up to a flat tire this morning. Filled it up and went to sears where I bought them and was told I would have to leave it all day. $1000 dollars of tires and you can’t check a flat? I didn’t have an appt., but still really? BTW, hen they were installed, I had several items from my console missing - lock up! Won’t be back ever, good luck staying open with your attitude.

I was referred to Sears in Thornton (by a mechanic friend) for alignment. They checked the alignment (no charge) and found two bushings that had worn out. They replaced the bushings and checked the alignment again, but it did not need aligning, so there was no charge. The service was fast and done well. I had taken my car to 4 different places and they always charged me $$ for alignment they never did. My car always kept pulling to the right. Now my car is finally fixed!!I notice a lot of these reviews are quite old, so I fully believe they have changed staff and made improvements since these were written. These folks were professional and very respectful. I will bring my car back again and will follow up if anything changes.
I put an order for a set of tires on Sunday. They didnt have the tires so they had to order it. They said they call it in on Monday. I called them on Monday and ensured the order was submitted and they confirmed.I called the following Friday to get a status on my order. The person said they would call me back. They did not.I called the following Monday in the morning. They said they would call me back and they didnt. I called again before lunch, and they said they call me back and they didnt. I called again at 2pm and they still had no idea where my order was and had no way to track other than to try to find the guy who supposedly ordered it (but was not at work).Finally someone calls me back and tells me that the tire is actually in national back order.It basically took Sears 7 days just to tell me the tires I want were back ordered.Not cool, Sears. I sought Sears based on what I thought was a highly customer service oriented company. That was not my experience in this major purchase.I went to Discount Tire. The person I spoke with was highly knowledgeable. They didnt have the tires at the store, but they do have it in another store. I guess thats the benefit of dealing with a company in strictly the tire business - bigger inventory. Discount Tire even price matched what I paid for the tires at Sears just by taking my word over the phone regarding what I paid for them at Sears.Sears required the full payment upfront. Discount Tires only 10%. Sears now wants me to go back into their store to get my refund. Thanks Sears... it was not hassle enough.
They take incredibly long to do the simplest service and often dont do it correctly. They changed out an alternator belt without tightening it correctly and after driving an hour back to Thornton the next day for them to fix it properly, made me sit pointlessly in that waiting room while the desk guy chatted with another customer about tire prices. He only got someone to look at my car (keep in mind they had just fd up the day before) after I lost my cool and demanded service! Worst service ever and completely unreliable mechanics. Do not go.
Went to this Sears on 08/15/2017 to find a battery for my daughters Jeep Grand Cherokee. The staff was friendly and more than helpful. Its nice to see customer service still exists. Thank you guys, great work. ill be back.
I remember a few years ago I took to get my Acura Integral race car there to get an alignment and they did an amazing job. The work quality was amazing and they did it pretty fast !!!
We drove in from Iowa for the holiday weekend, as soon as we pulled in, I got that smell of burning transmission fluid. It was the morning of the 4th of July and NO ONE was open and the one shop that was, was completely booked (I wasn’t feeling comfortable leaving it there anyway). Then I found this Sears Auto, not only where they open, they were EXTREMELY friendly and understanding of my situation. We wanted to leave for Breckinridge before lunch. They got it in, found the problem, fixed it and we were on the road by 11am!!!! This place was absolutely perfect! I would strongly recommend!!!!!!! Thank you Sears Auto, you saved our vacation!!!!
DO NOT GO! No matter how convenient, no matter the sale price... this place is a SCAM.I recently called to ask for an estimate on a repair and was quoted a price. Then when I arrived, they said they had to do an additional service with the first service. (trying not to be too vague, but basically wanted to charge me 30% more than the estimate and stated it was required).I asked the guy Listen, is this REALLY ALWAYS required? and he confirmed that It was and that hed checked with the technicians to confirm.Went home and googled Is B required if A is done? and all the answers said no.SERIOUSLY AVOID! LIED TO MY FACE EVEN WHEN CALLED ON IT!

If youre looking to get scammed go to this place. Went in for Sears Buy 3 Get 1 Tire free sale for Fourth of July weekend and they tried to scam me out of $400+ more for my tires than they should have. First off they rang me up and wouldnt give me the work receipt so I could see what they were charging me for. They tried to ring me up for $1280. They just nonchalantly thought a new set of tires cost $1280 for a small SUV. First they didnt remove the free tire. He tells me thats as low as he can get the price. I then ask did you add tire insurance to that or something because I never asked for it. He goes yup you have to have tire insurance for the special. This was an outright LIE and he knew it. He tried to argue with me over this finally removing the insurance charge which I never asked for. I then realize they also up charged me on some lifetime balance of the tires which again I never asked for and was never told I was getting. Again, this entire time he wont let me see the paper receipt/work order. To top all of this off the tires I was charged for were $183.99. The online price for these tires was $168.00 each with free shipping. He wouldnt honor the online price of the tires. Dont go here is all I have to say. Best thing you can do is do the online order for the service. That way you can guarantee the price you should be paying. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. Use someone who is honest.
I probably would have given 5 stars because the experience I had was all in all good once I stepped in the door. The staff was polite, the place cleaned and friendly faces. One thing that could have been improved is have some spaces up front. I understand there is a big contract but at least the handicap spot should have been open, instead it had some echo dealerships cars, with no plates at all or handicap plackard, that needed work parked there. Being an amputee who carries such a plackard it would have been nice to use the spot intended for just such a case and not to have to park at the main store parking lot and walk all the way but its very minor. But I think it also might be illegal. Aside from that I would be ok using them again. But not for an oil change!!

Terrible service they are slow an unorganized. I took my vehicle in on a Sunday morning was told it would be done by 4. Was it no the told me it would be done by 10am Monday morning. I work and it is my work vehicle being serviced. So 10am was pushing it but would be fine. Come in at 9:30am and they tell me its not going to be done until about 2pm. They just screwed me out a $300 work day. Very disappointed in the service and the way they run things.
This place is a joke. Weve been customers for a long time. I took my equinox in last week for one tire losing air and the guy told me my tires had dry rot. I went somewhere else and the found the hole and repaired the only tire that was leaking air. Never going back
Had my car in several times because the battery kept failing. They told me it was not a bad battery. 1 month after the warranty expired, my car conveniently shows that the battery is bad now. I will NEVER do business with Sears again. This is the first time Ive ever done business with a Sears and I had nothing but problems the entire time with my battery. What really gets me is this company wouldnt honor the warranty on the battery and lied to me about it until the warranty was over. I suggest looking into doing business with a more honest company unless you like getting lied to and paying more.
I brought my Lexus in for servicing and tried to discover the cause of clicking noise in my steering column. They did not get it right the first time but they kept working on the problem until they found the cracked universal joint. They fixed it and it has worked like a charm since the repair. I am probably more knowledge about cars than most and this may have made their troubleshooting more serious, but they worked for hours and only charged me the standard inspection fee per the original agreement.
Consistent positive experience, I have my tires shipped there from an internet site and they take care of me every time. Professional and efficient, great experience every time!

I saw an advertisement on television for an oil change for $14.99. I called ahead to see if I could make an appointment. I was advised that they did not do appointments and it was an hour wait before my car would even be taken back. When I arrived at the store 20 minutes after talking to the person on the phone I was notified that it was now a 2 hour wait. I said to the man that I spoke to someone no longer than 20 minutes ago. He responded very abruptly and rudely As you can see there are people in front of you! Needles to say I say thanks anyways and walked out the door. I would not recommend this auto center to anyone. If you advertise a special you should expect to be busy and shouldnt be angry that your business is busy.
What a f*ucked up service department! You tell me two days to do a damn battery check on my car! I wasn’t asking for you to install it I just wanted to know if it was failing. That’s okay Costco next door can have my 150 battery sell. Reasons like this sears won’t be a name people know years from now
Dont do it. Took way to long to do a simple oil change and I had an appointment. Tried to up sale me by lying.
Went in for service on walk-in and was told to make an appt. for 1:00 pm. Arrived for the appt. at 1:00. Shopped around for a whle. It was 2:00 when I was back. Stated that they didnt have the oil filter. Waited longer . Then service attendant brought the oil cap and stated that it was broke which it wasnt broken before that. It took over 2hours for the oil change.
Way understaffed. In for a simple oil change with an appointment- 45 minutes later they finally pull my car into the bay for service. At check-in they offered many services to upsell the service.
Just went to have my snow tires installed. They wanted $109 to swap tires.... Costco next door does it for $40. No wonder they are going out of business
REVISED-- The battery police WAS NOT reviewed with me. In fact, they nearly didnt want to deal with me because I had a 2002 vehicle. Excuse me for trying to be carbon neutral and get a second life out of an old car with low mileage.I have a dead battery this morning because this location put in a P.O.S. battery and didnt tell me it only had 1 year warranty. Dont go here. I thought they put in a die hard battery. They dont stock die hard batteries for my car, because its a small battery. If Id known that, I wouldve gone to Napa Auto parts and bought a battery myself with a 5 year warranty.

Went in on a Monday morning. car wouldnt start without a jump. They tested the battery and the starter. Starter was bad. They put a new one in and I was done in a couple hours. Friendly staff, prices as expected.

Why make an appointment we made one a week before got there at 221pm my appointment was at 300pm wasnt taken in until 415pm then it was done at 442pm all I needed was to have the tires rotated and alignment done and when they got it it only took them less then 30mins I dont understand.
