Again, excellent availability of products. Check out a bit slow, only 2 lanes, but young man at register was very friendly and professional. REMEMBER NO MORE PLASTIC BAGS AS A JULY 01 !

I always enjoy shopping here I barely ever shop anywhere else. I luv how almost every employee is so polite I also luv shopping here cuz years ago my son had lost a $101 an employee found it sitting on top of cases of water and gave it to the manager very very honest we tried to give her a reward for it she wasnt allowed to take it so I made my son write a letter to the employee that found it and the manager just all around very honest people. Also very clean. Thank u for all your hard work and training each employee to be so kind/helpful/honest/clean.

I went to Food Lion to buy Rebel brand low carb ice cream because its the best. I then planned to visit another grocer but the prices were so reasonable, I stocked up at Food Lion and saved myself another trip. I was happy.

Clean and overall well laid out store. The issue i had was the employee i had at check out and believe it was just the employee.Mind you i had 3 children with me but only had about 20 items.. It literally took almost 15 mins because this person was looking at everything reading it and wanted to talk about it, for every item such as uncle bens rice and why it isnt called that anymore. I think it was more so just the luck of the draw as other employees were courteous helpful and moved at an appropriate pace

Food Lion has become our main food store recently. The weekly sales are great and they usually have ample stock for their sales. When they do run out, theyre happy to issue rain checks.

I love the prices that all food lion stores use but this store is by far my favorite of any grocery store. The customer service is always great!!! Never have i waited more then 5 mins in line when checking out. Almost every employee asks if you need help finding anything when they pass you and they keep the shelves stockes pretty good.

Quite good customer service though the store needs to restock as often as possible because most of the items I needed were out of stock physically noticed and too confirmed by some associates on the floor (names withheld).

Produce is usually not in the best condition. Many of trips Ive made there I left without vegetables/fruit I wanted because quality was too low for me to buy.

The store was great but when went to check out, Raven the cashier was on her phone walked away when I was coming to check out. Stood for about 4 mins when she notice i was standing there. Said sorry. Phones should not be used when checking out.

I found everything i came in for. The prices are great. Staff is friendly and they keep the store neat and clean. I enjoy going to food lion. Only downside the parking lot is always super crowded.

This is a great store!! Everyone that works there is really helpful!! BUT THEY DO NOT SELL ALCOHOL!!! for some reason it says they sell alcohol on here and they dont, but other then that its a great grocery store!!

This branch is a typical Food Lion. No great praise or serious complaints stand out, in my mind. Prices are average and staff is generally friendly. Usually has decent parking and the checkout lines are non-existent, or pretty short most of the time. This is my regular grocery store.

I do my grocery shopping more at Food Lion than anywhere. There prices are competitive and I have never in the 10+ years of shopping here seen an unhappy employee. They all go above and beyond the norm to make sure you find what you need and if they dont carry it they will tell you who does!

I was told a horrible story about Food Lion. This individual is down on their luck right now and after paying into the system for their whole life was forced to utilize SNAP Food Stamps benefits. This individual had a whole cart full of groceries and put all of their items on the belt. The cashier rang everything up and their SNAP Food Stamps system was down. There were absolutely no signs on any doors or on the register and the Independence Card was their only means available for them to pay. And then, the cashier had the nerve to say, What, you dont have any money?! You dont have a credit card?! Whats wrong with you?!. Well, Im sorry but that cashier was extremely out of line and should be fired. Now, that person doesnt even want to return to this store, because of the humiliation they experienced. Since, there were many people around when this nasty rude employee of Food Lion practically yelled her horrible words. Most people need a little help now and again, and it does not make it easier on the individual being treated so poorly. The individual commented to me about the already present embarrassment of using an Independence Card (SNAP or Food Stamps) and how this experience has taken it to a whole new level. I used to like Food Lion but after hearing this horrifying story, 👎!!! Food Lion, some of your cashiers are rude and nasty, clean house and maybe Ill come back!

Nice grocery store

One of my favorite aspects of the Finksburg Food Lion is their 96% lean ground beef. Today I picked up the last container on the shelf. As I checked out, I mentioned to the cashier, Mary, that I was disappointed there wasnt more. She immediately asked the manager and then went back to the meat department to get me 2 more packages. I was thrilled! That is superior customer service and much appreciated. Thank you, Mary!

I go there for the meat! Their prices are fair and they have a good selection. I also like how they bag cold items in different color bags so I know which ones to put away first when I get home.

This grocery store will have about 2/3 of selection compared to a typical store. Quality has always been acceptable. Dont have a rewards card? The cashiers will use the store card without hassle. Parking-lot is a mess and folks mostly stop for pedestrians. Dont press youre luck though...

Bigger than Finksburg.

The employees work so hard to keep everyone happy, I understand that sometimes it’s hard and they do very well holding it together. Always well stocked. Keep up the great job.

I shop here only when I am close by and they have good sales. Also, I buy the vegan and kosher items from here. Mostly I shop at Aldi for produce, milk, bread and eggs because they are cheaper... But when I cannot find a certain vegetable or fruit in Aldi I check here next.

Great prices and affordable. Produce is the freshest around. Staff is friendly and professional. Always willing to go the extra to make sure your satisfied. Store is very clean and makes for a pleasant experience.

This location is always clean and well stocked. The staff are young but friendly and helpful. Easy access from 70 and parking for my little car or my big farm truck.

Best grocery store in Westminster. Always in stock of every item I need. Customer service manager is best in the business. I can get my hair cut, buy beer, get groceries, get a pizza and chick fila in a one stop shop.

I like the fact that you can get coupons catered to what you buy as you enter FooLion. Nearly 50% of items in the store are on sale with your bonus card. There are a few quack employees but that is expected in every business. Clean and organized. Only gave 4 stars because of some rude employees.

It has the worst selection. the location is what drives sales, nothing particularly of value. Giant has similar prices and better selection. Across the street is Aldis. Shoppers in town is massive. Safeways yogurt selection speaks for the whole store. food lion is the worst supermarket that westminster has. the bodega off green st is next, down one teir.

Not enough organic produce, like no organic carrots save 1 lb bags of baby carrots that are way over priced. Otherwise, nice kids working there and decent sales.

The parking lot here is a disaster, it only gets a second start based on the store itself being pretty good. The only reason i go here is if I absolutely have to our if I already need something else in the shopping center its in.

Creates a danger for people leaving the store - you are feet from the road when u leave the store. Cars parked in the loading zone block view.Elitist & lazy people need to follow basic rules of society and park in PARKING LOT. These people create a hazard out of laziness & disrespect for others.

Extremely upset this evening with the young employees that food lion of westminster has closing their store. I work overnights next door, and I go to food lion EVERY Friday night at 9:55pm, grab a 4 pack of redbulls that they conveniently keep right next two the door, and give them exact change to be as inconvenient as possible; and exchange that takes a total of 2 minutes tops. Tonight when I got there at 9:55, the doors were locked and all of their employees looked at me as if I were crazy trying to come in as they told me that they were closed. I showed them the clock on my phone and said they dont close until 10:00, and they wouldnt let me in for a 2 minute exchange. Management should probably reevaluate who they allow to run their store when they are not present, because they just lost a customer that frequently spends a lot of money there.
