Helpful staff. Good selection of nice furniture and housewares.

We absolutely loved the store and purchased a beautiful bedding set ($600). When we got home we realized that the shams were different sizes (a store associate helped us with all the selections).When I went back to return it, the associate was extremely rude and told me I would have to order another one and pay for shipping. When she realized they actually did have the replacement in stock, she charged my account without the original discount. She was extremely annoyed when I pointed it out. She never told me that she credited the first transaction to my card and again was incredibly rude when I asked her about it. After the transaction, I inquired about a table that I wanted to buy ($200) and she told me to go order it online. I asked her if she could.... she interrupted me and said no, I can not sell you the floor model. I was stunned. I was simply trying to ask for the model number so I knew which table to order online. This associate was curt and unapologetic for her rude behavior. I understand people have bad days but as a customer, being treated as an annoyance is unacceptable. I found the perfect side table at Pottery Barn, where they seemed more than happy to help me. I will not be shopping at West Elm again.

The worst experience with a furniture order ever! We had order a number of items in store, we specifically asked for items to be delivered by a certain date or removed from the order.A couple of items were delayed until July but folks in store said we can ask for a split delivery because our order is over a certain amount, that was not true. We called customer service to cancel and they said we have to wait until July to get a refund, so West Elm is keeping our money interest free for a number of months because a store associate did not know what they were talking about. Horrible experience both in store and over the customer support line where it took about 5-6 calls to finally understand nobody knows what they are talking about.

Allison at the Westport location is a pleasure to work with. Very patient, very knowledgeable and really professional. The customer service after the sale is most impressive. Over my many visits to the store Ive received great service from other employees at the store as well. Extremely happy with their furniture. Very beautiful and high quality. Shop at this store if youre looking for great service and great quality furniture at a reasonable price.

Went into West Elm today and the staff was very rude. Not helpful at all, very disappointing especially during times like these where stores are going out of business. You would think employees would be a little bit eager to please. Not I am getting ready to leave.

Easy to see from street. Ample free parking. A really good selection of modern and classic furniture and decoration. Holiday decorations are for sale there right now. Staff are helpful. Always a deal to be found in store.

It was simply a pleasure shopping here! The store employees (especially Anthony) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They showed me a bunch of different fabric samples for the Harmony couches that they had on hand. They went above and beyond!! Will be coming back for more!! Love West Elm Westport!!!! Nice people, but its just a showroom. They had none of the 5 pieces we wanted in stock and basically just sent us to other stores. If you have something in mind I would call first.

Unbelievably horrible customer service. We came to return a pillowcase that became damaged after a single gentle wash that was permitted by the care instruction. So clearly the product was of a very low quality to start with. We were yelled at and blamed by the store manager for using bleach, when we clearly did not (the item was not even white). I could not have thought that a relatively pricy store like West Elm would be so rude and disrespectful towards its customers!!! Never coming back again!!!

I cant believe how rude these employees are, my wife and I walked in into an empty stores and there were no customer except me and my wife, all employees were. It doing anything I stood there looking at he 2 women employee trying to ask for help to order a chair and rug, they look at me and look away like am nobody.Ill take my money to Crate&Barrel instead.Date was Wednesday February 14, 2018 2 PM.Please fix your employee.

The staff is very helpful. They helped me save 110 bucks on shipping when the rug I purchased was shipped to the store instead if direct to my house.

Got there when store opened. Could not get any help. So left. Were ready to order too.
