Best coffee shop around and best baristas!

Shearwater is the best coffee shop in westport. They are the only ones who make cappucinos and cortados in a small cup, which is the real way the drink is supposed to be made. The espresso is very good quality and the baristas are all very friendly.

Cute place, great coffee - not open for dine-in right now due to covid, even though their website on google says they are (just FYI for anyone looking for a place to do work/writing).

They make an outstanding cortado, something completely absent from the Starbucks lexicon.

Where to start. The two girls behind the counter are more interested in talking between themselves, then on the customers. Since this was my first time, I asked what coffee is the lightest brew. I got attitude from the cashier then she pointed to a sign. So I ordered it. Not good. I gave her a $2.00 tip on a $5.00 cup of coffeee. She didn’t say thank you or acknowledge it. Won’t be back.

I would not rush back here. Actually, I will probably not return. First time here - I walked in to find 2 girls behind the counter, both on their phones. One looked up to greet me. I asked for a cappuccino to stay. Not only was it $5, but was also given a to-go cup. The coffee was not good either. There was an artist playing/singing live music, which was the nicest part of this stop. I enjoyed his performance while I was there. Disappointed for sure.

Ignore the grumpy Westporters - the coffee is strong and full of flavor, every time Ive gone the staff has been welcoming, and the ambience is lovely.

The coffee shop uses a Shyler espresso machine. They blend the espresso beans and make a great espresso served in a ceramic cup. This is how in my opinion it should be done. Paper cups served at chain coffee shops come on America. Well with the visit.

High quality coffee and snacks, nice seating and large windows full of light. But not enough seating, and high prices. A bit too precious for me most of the time.

Ive used cleaner bathrooms at gas stations. The Fairfield and Westport location always disappoints when I use the facilities. Please get a cleaner. Stars for coffee.
