I had a great experience getting a beautiful firearm at Village Sports. The guys behind the counter are knowledgeable and were very helpful in my decision making process even after coming back several different times with different questions.

Nice enough people who work there, not that knowledgeable except for1 guy, prices are way to high for a shop in a town like Westport. Hes $100-$125 more for pistols than most dealers . taking advantage of SUPPLY and DEMAND issues, NOT COOL

Mike was very helpful answering my questions during the process. I will be going back to purchase another firearm in the future. I had a firearm that I traded in on my purchase and felt like I received a fair value for my firearm.

Went in to buy some ammo, I saw at least 3 boxes of the ammo I needed (I only wanted 1 box) and then they tell me its only for customers that are buying a gun so I left with nothing. Ive bought 2 guns from them but that doesnt seem to matter. Just trying to support a local business but they seem to be just as greedy as the big companies!

I was ready to purchase my first firearm. So i called this place to ask if i could go and they could help me with my first purchase. So a guy answered the phone . i said i have a question . the guy cut ne off and said make it quick i have people in the shop. So i said never mind . i did not like this experience on the phone so i cant imagine the treatment i will get in person. This is not the shop for me . so i decided to take my business elsewhere. This shop is excellent! They had an excellent inventory of pistols. I was looking for pistol, but they plenty of other types of guns as well. A good amount of used and new inventory.The two men at the store that I dealt were very knowledgeable. I looked at a good amount of guns and they were patient and pointed out some of the differences from each gun.This was my first gun purchase and they made it a great experience. I was looking for a .38 Super 1911. They had one at a great price. I also picked up a beautiful Colt Series 80 1911 for a better price than other dealers in the area. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. If I did not live close to Boston I would deal with them all the time. Their prices on ammo is competitive with other dealers.

I have been dealing with Paul and his crew for over a year now and they have been nothing short of excellence!!!! Their knowledge of firearms and ammunition is second to none. Each time I have walked in, I am always greeted with a warm welcome and hand shake. I always feel appreciated when in the store as well. This is why I make all my purchases at Village Sports as they always have what I need!

Being new to gun ownership this shop and these guys make you feel comfortable coming in to purchase or ask questions. Purchased a SR22 for my daughter from them and based on how I was treated I told them Id be back. Compliment or threat, you be the judge. I have continued to buy all my ammo and accessories from them. When it comes time to get another weapon, they will be my first and probably only stop.

Newbie in the gun community and found the guys there friendly and informative. They special ordered an S&W 586 .357 Magnum Classic for me, for a fair price and searched and found me a model 29 .44 Magnum. They took care of me and I look forward to doing business again.

Great shop with wide selection of guns and ammunition. This is my first stop when looking for a new firearm, or when I need to do a transfer. Customer service is top notch and there is never any pressure put on you to buy something that doesnt fit your needs.

Needed a way to mount a flashlight and laser to a shotgun . they had it. to bad it was $37 dollars and online was $8.95 . come on i understand some profit but thats downright 100% a rip off never again. even the clerk which by the way is a great guy said that it was awful high. bottom line do your homework . another fine customer gone like the wind sorry dont be greedy. it will get you nothing

It’s been a couple of weeks since I purchased a Walther pps .40 caliber and they gave me paperwork and ammo for a 9mm. I’ve since corrected the ammo but they won’t fix the paperwork to match what I have. Will not go back or recommend.So to add they came through on there word. My frustration got the better of me to judge so quickly I will stop in again thanks for mailing me the corrected paperwork.

This was the most horrendous experience I’ve ever had with customer service. The employees here act as if everyone is purely stupid regarding firearms, and laws pertaining to them. I went into the store looking to purchase pre-ban Glock magazines, where they clearly have them displayed in the glass shelving. I see them, and I ask the employee if he has any pre-ban Glock 19 or 17 magazines, he picks up a magazine, looks at it, and says “no we don’t” as I clearly see him holding it in his hand. Then he states that all pre-ban magazines are only for law enforcement. Then me and another customer were looking at the glocks, and the other customer asks if he would be able to hold the Gen 5 Glock 19, the man asks if he is law enforcement, which he wasn’t. And he states that only law enforcement are able to look at glocks because they are not able to be sold to civilians. Which the gen 5 19 is on the mass compliance list, on mass.gov. The other customer asks about pre-ban AR-15 lower receivers, and the employee states again, that they are only for law enforcement. It was a horrendous experience with rude people, I would much rather drive another minute down the road to atleast be greeted by nice people with lower prices.

Bought what was suppose to be a new M&p 2.0 and it had a used slide and used mags in the box. They swapped it over but was a bad situation. Was the last time doing business with them.
