The staff was very helpful and friendly; however, when I got home, I was not 100 percent happy with my purchase. The pepper I bought was full of moisture and mold🤮 It had no expiring date. I won’t bother to try to take any item back, I just will not return to the store.

Always nice when I can find a little piece of home. Just wish things were a bit fresher.

Small store, but AMAZING amount of genuine AFRICAN foods !So clean & fresh, the FIRST thing people comment on is how FRESH the store smells when they walk in !...Over 8 upright glass freezers of EVERY frozen/dried/smoked beef, fish, poultry and vegetables you miss so very very much...The Tropical Market also has fresh Anjri, Eru and other African staples, made daily by local African residents (literally African Moms!) and trading through The Tropical Market :-) ...FANTASTIC Teff (no sand - you KNOW what I mean), garri is A++, Semolina in various size bags. Beans, ALL kinds of rice, fresh plantains, mangos, garlic, yams...They even have clothing and every African drink you can think of (and miss horribly if youre from an African country).And HAIR & SKIN CARE PRODUCTS GALORE !...Visit this ONE small conveniently-located store just off of Roosevelt Avenue, and you just save HOURS of driving to at least 10 other stores just to get one product or another... :-)Heres a short list of African countries who LOVE shopping at The Tropical Market: Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Sudan, Ethiopia, Central Africa, Ghana, Mali, Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Burkina Faso, Tchad, and others !...
