Weve used TJs for a long time now. While they do honest, good work, the cars have not always been ready when promised, the level of English is hard to understand, and they have yet to call us when the car is ready, leaving us to guess, and then we come and its not done. I appreciate the fair prices and good work, but the communication needs to improve.

Ive taken both of my cars here. Theyve done good work in a timely manner. Really appreciate being shown the broken parts afterward to see what was fixed.

If I could give TJ Auto 10 stars I would! I first went to TJ Auto when I moved to Chicago in 2017. I didnt like the an astronomical quote for work I was given on my Jeep, and TJ was recommended by a friend. He charged me a fraction of the cost and explained everything to me, including the fact that some of the issues the other mechanic mentioned were not problems at all. From that moment on I knew I would drive out to Wheaton anytime my Jeep had problems. Eventually, I got rid of my Jeep (catalytic converter theft was too frequent), but today I brought my friends car in for a heat shield issue. TJ, was quick, kind, and affordable. He does great work and takes care of his customers. As a woman, I never feel like I am being treated differently or swindled/up-sold because of my gender. If you want an honest and good mechanic, go to TJ Auto.

This is the best place I have ever brought my car. Both my husband and I had a lot of work done to our cars and the owners were very friendly, super flexible with pick up and drop off of our cars, did amazing work on our vehicles and the prices were super fair! I would recommend JT Auto to anyone looking for quality service! From this point forward this is where we will always take our cars.

If there was a sixth star to give, this place would get it! I learned very quickly from TJ Auto that both my front and back brakes had to be fully repaired. I was quick understand the situation, but suffered a drop to my stomach. It was then I asked for an estimate and I was so pleased to hear what it would cost. When I called back later to check on my cars brake job, I learned of newer bad news about the condition of my brakes. The technician told me he was experiencing a great deal of trouble removing the rotors and lug bolts due to a massive amount of rust and corrosion. The tech told me the job would have to continue through the next morning. While the all around brake job is what it is, I am overly satisfied with the service and not to mention the final cost was so close to the estimate even after the bad news of the rust; it pushes me beyond happy and I will return for future repairs. I would fully recommend TJ Auto to my friends and family as well.

I called ahead to bring my car in. I was told to bring it in the next morning. When I came in the next morning, apparently there is no availability and the guy I talked to yesterday isnt even in for the day. No other communication but Come in Monday. I dont know what stellar customer service other reviewers have received because I did not get it.

TJ is great, honest, loyal, and hardworking. Highly recommended for any and all auto work. I always trust his team to give a fair rate and do the work right. more than once he has told me I didn’t need particular work done that I was asking for and saved me money because it wasn’t needed and he had an easier solution.
