My kids love getting to pick out their own candy. They each got 6 pieces and thought it was so fun, and it was only about $2. Next time Ill direct them toward more of the chocolate & chewy ones, though, as opposed to the crunchy and minty ones.

My daughter and I have started taking walks to the treat store as she likes to call it. Tons of great choices of classic and new candy. The popcorn is also phenomenal and the prices are all great! Glad to have this literal hole in the wall just down the block! Check it out of youre looking for some delicious treats!

I may be the unpopular opinion but super disappointed. Im vaccinated, didnt have a mask and was refused service with my 5 year old on his birthday. Drove from St. Charles for this shop. Wont be returning.

No trip to Wheaton is complete without a trip to the Popcorn Store! This store is a cute little shop built in an alley between two stores and sells affordable candy and delicious popcorn. As a kid it was my favorite store to go to to get candy and as an adult I still enjoy it!

This is one of the best stores in Wheaton. I love every aspect of this place. It is nostalgic and I still find myself in there almost weekly. There is a wide selection. My favorite part, besides the low prices, is that the selection allows you to pick how many you want.

I adore the popcorn shop! I dont think I ever had to wait for more to be popped, so I can count of being able to duck in and out quickly if Im in a hurry. Plus their candy shelved wall always has something I need to try or that sounds good. I hope this business stays just as it is forever!

This is a Wheaton icon. Ive been going here since I was a little kid, then for the candy now more for the popcorn. Since then it hasnt changed a bit because it is perfect just the way it is.

Weve been going here since I was little and we love it. Its such a treat to walk through a crazy tight space with a wall of candy. I love it, and we absolutely love the popcorn.

This was a popular snack stop for commuters returning from work, when the railroad station was right across the street, and continues.Occupying the space Between two businesses, it offers the best popcorn available, and needs no butter! Even from this butter lover, this is So good, it really does not! They also offer the largest assortment of penny candy, in old fashioned jars, just within reach of the kids, whose eyes are always as wide as saucers, when they walk in.Many of Williams friends and classmates were young customers in our youth and continue to make certain that we stop by whenever we return to Wheaton.Now celebrated as an historical icon, the Popcorn Shop continues to make memories in the youngest children.

My family loves this place! I grew up going there when I lived in Wheaton, and now I bring my girls every time we visit.

Best popcorn in DuPage county. Clean, pure and light. Been going there over 30 years.

This was a cool little store. It was just one narrow lane with candy on one wall, with two staff just making 🍿 in the back. The popcorn is great and very inexpensive. Word of warning, you could be like me and miss it by accident. It is very nondescript, but that also brings a charm to it. It is mashed between two stores near an outdoor sitting area. Really is just an red door with an older style canopy above it. Overall, would recommend going for the experience alone!

Never go to wheston without stopping here, been in family business for ever and is the cutest little candy store and have popcorn as well :)

This tiny shop was a big find! The front door was bright red with a red awning above it that simply said Popcorn Shop. Upon opening the door, it was surprising to see that the store was actually situated in between two buildings, and was really not much wider than the doorway! The space of a hallway was all that was necessary though to show and sell a large choice of candy and fresh popcorn. And what great popcorn! We had fun in this little shop, and it seemed to have been a popular spot because there were patrons coming and going the whole time we were there!

A lot of hype for not a lot of bite. The candy selection was nothing out of the ordinary. I didnt get any popcorn, but it looked regular. I suppose this shop is more sentimental than substantial.

While wandering and experiencing the beauty of this city I found this sweet store and pop corn store. These two were my favorite and love it until this time. Love the store has a lot of selections of everything sweets and popcorn flavor so far. Love it. Shop and staff was so great.

Just simple fun. 2 bucks can get you a lot of happiness at this place. I love the look my son has as he picks out the candy that he wants. Things range from 5 to 15 cents so 2 dollars makes him feel like a big spender. It is simple and fun and really a must stop location.

I love this place, it is not the same without the former owner, but I still love it. The popcorn is amazing.

They sold two things in this miniscule shop: individual candy pieces and popcorn of course. Candy was about 5¢ to 10¢ each and the popcorn was sold in various bag sizes for a few bucks. Cash only! The white salted popcorn is the one single flavor they offer but it was delicious and Ill be back for more someday.

This is a great place to get excellent popcorn. They pop-it fresh while you wait! They also have great old-fashioned candy!

To me, this place is both a wonderful childhood memory and a go-to on the rare occasions when I return to my hometown. Take your kids here--when I was young, I loved walking through that narrow alley-made-into-a-store to pick individual pieces of candy. And I still do. There selection and the prices are both great. Oh, and the popcorn is really good, too! Hard to beat fresh, home-made popcorn.

Very interesting little store. Its essentially and alleyway between two buildings transformed into a little candy shop. They have a nice selection of candy you can choose from, and although they do have popcorn it is relatively bland and pretty plain. Overall decent store, and would reccomend you see it in person.

Quaint, fun shop that my friend took his kids to 30 years ago; and, it still looks the same. We had the plain white popcorn. It was the best !!

Love the Little Popcorn Store. Used to ride my bike there as a kid. You have to stop in get some old fashioned candy or a bag of popcorn!

We love the little popcorn store ! We go there every Wednesday night as a special treat ! Then we take a tour of the downtown area of wheaton to look at all of the beautiful homes.

I literally feel like Im a childrens again. Stepping into the only place I know that has my favorite candies nearby for under a buck a piece is a wonderful experience. I love how the alley way was used to do something so great. Only wish there could be more space, or a secondary store closer to where I live. Still, a fantastic place to spend a few minutes at and well worth the stomach ache! Beggars cant be choosers!

This place is a classic Wheaton institution. Its a lot of fun to go in and grab some candy from modern ones and some classic brands. Also, the popcorn is fantastic. The people who run the shop are wonderful and helpful. If you are close to downtown Wheaton, its worth strolling through.

This place is one of a kind. Great popcorn and selection of hard to find candy. The Little Popcorn Store had been in Wheaton, IL 60187 for about as long as I can remember. The Popcorn Shop and Jack Straws are my favorite stops when I get that craving for a certain food.
