Party City saved the day for our Bridal Shower! Wonderful, friendly customer service was experienced at this Wheaton location and it was quite refreshing especially for a Saturday morning. We had a last minute balloon order and they delivered on-time! THANK YOU! Will definitely come back to this location when my party needs present.

DO NOT EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE because god forbid you might be shopping and have to ask to use the restroom! They will not let you use their restrooms as a customer with a cart full of items and has the guts to tell you no. She literally told me to go next door to use ULTAS. Im sure ULTA would really appreciate someone coming in from another store to use their restroom, with no intention of buying anything there. So I had the guts to leave my full cart and leave the store and go to our Party City by us where we live in Oak Brook, where they know what customer service is.

This Party Store has alot of variety to choose from and I go here if the dollar store doesnt have something I need for celebrating a family event. It costs more than the dollar store for balloons, plates, cards, and table decorations but if you have a theme or table design in mind, they will probably sell it and the dollar store probably wont. I sometimes go for one event and end up getting plates and napkins or table decorations for something a whole year later because I know that marketing departments change products and a bird in the hand can avoid having to beat the bushes to scare up what you used to see in the branches but has since than flown away. This is true everywhere, because businesses are paid to think up new products. Thats fine, but leave the old ones around a little longer for us busy or physically challenged people to find them quickly. I give this store a five out if five and hope it keeps its stores open so we can break up the hard parts of life with some levity with friends and family.

They have what you need for the most part but will probably never be the only place you need to go. Their valentines selection is pretty small. They do have balloons and endless plastic stuff..i guess i wish there were more emotionally conscious items. For cupcake decorating they have a lot. For any themed party they have the table cloth.

Lost my business forever. Brought two balloons to inflate for my daughter’s birthday brand new in a package never opened and they refused to do it saying they are not taking the balloons bought from outside the store! Ridiculous, you all lost your mind over this virus!!! I’m done shopping at Party City, I’ve heard you struggle already so go bankrupt if you choose to turn down customers over such stupid rules! Going to get my party supplies at Target or Amazon now on, will not miss you guys!

Should have more people working there on Saturdays. wait an hour to blow up 8 balloons went back and only 6 were done. I had to show them where the cashier put all of them. REALLY. 8th grade education? Get some grownups in there or at least 4 employees work there. God help this store

Party City is our go-to for party supply staples. They dont normally have what we need if were doing something elegant, but theyre great for the basics.

Perfect place to visit to buy some party stuffs. Mostly that Halloween is near. Got a variety of costumes sets. Staffs were friendly and kind.

Live this store. The staff is friendly and its very clean this place.The girl look for the unicorn balloon I was looking for she checked in the boxes that were on the floor. But they didnt inflate the balloons as well as they do other days I guess she was tired from looking so much. They said the balloons lasted 3-5 days but I got it Friday and Saturday they were all soft like if they had a hole but they didnt I checked.

Great attentive staff and all the balloons a girl could need! What not to love? Besides the fact that they print any store credit on receipt paper this place is exactly what you would expect.

I ordered mylar balloons from Amazon for my sisters engagement party and brought them to Party City for inflation. We came to find out that three of the four balloons were defective which their staff told me was typical (they guessed that we bought them from amazon). They fortunately had matches of two of the balloons that were defective and replaced them without charging us. The staff at both locations are excellent, really cannot recommend this place more.

Prices are a little high but you can find pretty much anything you need for any party youll throw. Paper and plastic plates and chips in 20+ colors. Balloons in lots of colors and sizes. Lots of popular themes for kids birthday parties. Stuff for showers, over-the-hill parties, etc.

Huge store with everything you could ever want for any kind of party. They keep themes up to date and offer a large variety of colors and styles of a particular theme too. My only complaint is that the fun mylar balloons in the front are always out of stock

Dont place a balloon order with this store! 30 minutes on phone bouncing back and forth between the cashier and manager to place a simple order of 20 balloons. I asked for the manager because the only person they had to take the order was the cashier who put me on hold mid-order to take a customer at the register and he told me there was nobody else who could take my order.. I called the evening before I picked up the order to confirm it. That call, which should have taken 1 minute took 10 minutes in which I got bounced around to 3 people just to confirm the order! When I picked them up, the next morning, I asked for the receipt ( I had to prepay when I placed the order) and the cashier looked at the receipt that was attached to the balloons and then gave it to me. I dont know what she actually looked at because the receipt was not mine, it was for plastic forks and cups. When I told her that the receipt wasnt mine she said well thats the receipt that was attached . I told her I needed the correct receipt to turn in on my expense form (balloons were for an event for a non profit organization) so she said she needed to go in the back to get it. Ten minutes later she comes out with a generic receipt that doesnt even say Party City on it. It just continued to get more ridiculous. If there would have been another party store near my home, I would have never placed the order when I realized that I was going to have to be interrupted every time the cashier had another customer at his register. I was desperate so I placed the order but it truly wasnt worth it. At every opportunity, Party City managed to mess up. Be prepared to be thoroughly frustrated if you place an order with them!

I went to a dollar store for the first time in probably a year last weekend. A few days later I went into Party City. I was surprised at the number of items that you could buy for a dollar at a dollar store that were being sold for five dollars at Party City. Its not so much w comment on the price, but the price in relation to the quality of the products that are sold at Party City. That said, they also have a lot of unique items that are otherwise hard to find.

Well if your looking for a place where to get your party supplies fobt hesitate to go there

While I was checking out with all of my party items, beads I intended to purchase rang up for $2.99 instead of the listed $0.29. After walking to the back of the store with the manager to show him the sign, he refused to change the price. He said he could not give me the beads for 29 cents because that was too little, even though it was clearly advertised for that price!! If good customer service would only cost a few bucks, this store is not willing to pay it. I will not be shopping here anymore. Go to a different store!

Store has a lot of things, most of what you may need, but they need a full time person on balloons, it seems to take forever. The staff is pleasant enough, enough when customers are being unruly. Besides that, everything else was pretty good.

I popped in (pun intended) the other day to have my personal balloon filled with helium and buy another for a 1 year old party. Taz helped me pick out a couple of new ones and as she was refilling my balloon it popped! They immediately replaced it with a similar style/value. The helium price seemed a bit high, but I was in a hurry. The store could DEFINITELY use a good cleaning, dusting. Although Id not want to be the one to have to do it. Merchandise EVERYWHERE!

A couple of years ago things were easy: youd place an order by phone and then show up to pick up your balloons when they are ready. Not anymore. You cannot place an order by phone anymore (I was informed about that at two different locations). Your options are either place an order in person at the store and wait (and that could be a long wait if they have many orders to fulfill) or place an order online. However, the website is really not user-friendly and you cannot pick the colors and quantities you want, which was a dealbreaker for me. It appears that all you can do if you want multicolor if order at least 15 balloons (of decent size, 12 inches or so), and you are at their mercy as far as colors are concerned. Im not sure if you could add a fancy foil balloon to that combination, but I doubt that. Overall, the staff are happy to help as much as they can over the phone, but Im afraid their hands are tied at the moment and until the online system is more flexible than the rudimentary one they currently have.

Fun place to visit with kids or when having a party. We stop by often during Halloween season.

They filled an emergency last minute 30 balloon order for me 20 minutes before close on a Saturday evening.... A+++ if you ask me! I’ll be back for all of my party needs!!!!

I am revising my poor review because they did contact me about 1 hour after the incident to apologize and make good on the problem. Although my initial interactions were poor with an employee, the manager has made good on the problem and I think that is very admirable.
