Great paint and design store which carries Benjamin Moore, just about the best paint availability. The staff is super helpful always. You can bring in just about anything from a room you want to paint and they will help you match colors to what you brought. What ever paint supplies you need they have.They also have an excellent selection of blinds available.Please consider liking this review if helpful.

We purchased blinds from JD Licht for our newly-built home, and were so happy with the entire experience from selection, to measurement and installation. The quality of the products is exceptional. We have some manual and some automatic shades (great room tall windows, bathroom). In fact, we were so pleased that we worked with them a second time to complete blinds for every window in our two story home. We would highly recommend JC Licht.

I went to this location after a poor color matching experience at a different JC Licht. John was extremely helpful and worked with me to get the right color, offered for me to test it first for free with a smaller amount before I purchased the paint. Very pleased with the results. Highly recommend this location!

Our designer helped pick out the fabric and hardware and JC Licht took it from there. The drapes came out perfect - very high quality, nicely done. and installation was great. The installer showed up exactly on time, was very friendly, installed everything and left no mess behind! could not be happier. also appreciated the phone call the following week to check on everything.

JC Licht of Wheaton is TERRIFIC! Sure, they cater to the professional painters, but they TAKE PRIDE in helping retail customers, too. My wife and I are so thankful for John Borkowski, the Wheaton store Mgr. In the last 2 months, hes helped us with 3 different projects: painting the house, selecting a very special stain for the front door and the same for our back deck. John and his team *GO OUT OF THEIR WAY* to create VERY SATISFIED customers. I needed help finding and choosing an electric drill and bits. The store clerk showed me the choices available and patiently explained how they operated. He found the perfect drill to meet my at home needs. Nice work!

We recently replaced some windows that were covered in very old blinds. Having worked with Lichts before, I was glad to give them a call to order new blinds. Everything was easy on the ordering end and the installer was quick and neat. Love our new blinds!

This is a review written by my wife Nina, Renee helped me also, however, and I agree with everything my wife has written.Many heroes kept serving people during the COVID-19 pandemia. Renee is one of those heroes. She provided personal in-store consultations at the J.C. Licht store in Wheaton during the lock-down. She might have been the only designer in the Chicago area who did it in person, not virtually. Rene helped me a lot during my “color crisis” in the COVID days. We valued Renes opinion and her professional and personal insight, reasoning and advice on every issue during our entire home project.With her help we chose the colors for the new kitchen/dining and living room areas, countertop, backsplash, and colors for exterior painting.Renee was very attentive and patient in helping us. She listened to our thoughts and helped select the right colors. She is like a magician when she works. With ease she picks the small color chip out of her huge collection. With ease she opens the right brochure, magazine, or book. With ease she creates a magical result - a unique and beautiful color palette. Outstanding Experience!We are very pleased with the services of designer Celeste. We have utilized her services twice for redecorating/updating rooms in our home (family room, dining room, and office). Celeste is professional, friendly, and put us at ease. She took time to understand our style, likes and dislikes. She provided options and assisted us in choosing wall colors, wallpaper, window treatments, and area rugs. Remodeling our home without Celeste Garvey’s expert assistance would have been impossible! Celeste is gifted in Interior Design. She guided our decisions in enriching our home so that it would be perfect for a family home wedding. Celeste selected blinds, wallpaper, and paint options that were to our liking and within our budget. She was even able to select rugs and fabric for drapes and chairs that coordinated with our wall colors and blinds. The blinds she chose for our bedroom and basement windows are as perfect and gorgeous as the day they were installed! I am so grateful for all of Celeste’s advice, suggestions, and selections! I can’t imagine decorating our home without her and will definitely call on her again! She is very highly recommended! Her passion for color and design shines through in everything she does!

Celeste Garvey was super nice and provided me exactly what I wanted with a personal decorator touch. The process was super easy. She knew exactly what I wanted and incorporated blinds and window treatment for my living room and basement. I had difficult spaces and I wanted them to look bright and open. Holly was such an inspiration to me..We are re-doing our first floor and she helped me pick the perfect timeless neutral grey from the current color trend pallet as well as helped me with a possible blind option for my new kitchen. Great selection of paints. Benjamin Moore is a great quality paint, that saves you time at your project. If you own a business its well worth opening an account to get a contractor discount. Otherwise, prices can be a bit steep. People are courteous and service is quick.

We were in the middle of remodeling a hall bath, had all other materials picked out but werent sure about paint color. Had tried paint samples based purely on swatches we chose on our own, none of them were close to what we wanted.Went to visit JC Licht, Jane helped me choose 4 colors as samples to try, one of them was our perfect color. The store is great. However, bad experience with Ben Moore paints, used in 2 different homes. Move a picture off a wall and noticeable difference in color, have to repaint the wall. Get a smudge on a wall after 6 months, have to repaint the entire wall because of fading. Will never use this paint again.
