This is the least desirable Walgreens I have ever been to. No appointment necessary for Covid vaccine, yet it was up to pharmacist and he was unable to take me without appointment? I really dislike whole store attitude. Not helpful or friendly. I would rather go out of my way and visit Buffalo Grove Walgreens, staff are much friendlier and helpful.
Could be better. Been using this place for 2 years now. There is a lot of waiting around even when its not busy. Prescriptions can take some time to come through and its almost impossible to get someone on the phone. One time through the automated phone system I accidentally requested doctor for refills on a bunch of my prescriptions. I called and asked them to not call the doctor or fill those. They said they would not call but did it anyways and my doctor was not happy with me. They dont ask if I want to speak to the pharmacist when I start a new medicine and I forget until I get home, and I dont want to go through the hassle of calling them so I just read through websites online to find my answers.
I made appointment for covid rapid test 2 days ago, and I received confirmation number at same day morning. When I got drive thru, a pharmacist checked all my information and then said, you should make another appointment in different location because we dont have test kits. Excuse me?? It was only 12pm and they can call me or email me for the cancelation prior to my appointment! What a waste of my time and gas!!I was super mad but he didnt have any empathy or do apology. Never come back again! Ugh!
Workers are mainly rude and pharmacy is a mess. I live closer to this store but get my prescriptions filled at wolf and Kensington cause this location needs some serious overhauling. Walked in w an appt for Covid shot place was empty and waited 1/2 hr because they didn’t tell pharmacist. Then my husband went for his second shot 2 days before his appt because we got a phone call reminder for second shot and they denied him the shot made him come back on 2 days. And he was within the timeframe for second shot. Again this place is a mess. Too many young. Liods just out of trade school or something

Place is a mess, terribly managed, the wait for second COVID 19 vaccine shot is about 1 hour. It is funny that you hold the vaccine card saying that you have been fully vaccinated while you are waiting for the second shot for 1 hour. People complaining millions of not fully vaccinated, if you have to wait for 1 hour, yeah, here is why.The people arrived before and after me all got their vaccine shot before I do, eventually I told them I was waiting for 45 mins and they cannot find my filling forms and deliberately ask me to pronounce my name 3 times.There is no Asian or Black pharmacists in this pharmacy when I was visiting, and how reassuring it is if you know this pharmacy is only couple of miles away from Walgreen headquarters, yeah, good job with the diversity culture, Walgreen.Also, if you need to make a complain, tou have to wait in line for the pharmacist, how convenient.AVOID this place.

I wanted to send money to a relative for emergency. I searched the nearest one and this Walgreens showed. When I got there they told me it was just a computer system. I was a bit worried but continued on. This was the biggest regret of my life. Not only did the recipient not receive the money. But I couldnt get the money back for some reason. I called western union customer service and kept getting hung up on. I called western union about 50 times and only only spoke to someone 3 times. I spent 12 hours trying to figure out how I could get my money back. Needless to say if I had gone to work i could have made double the money back. This system is useless on all levels. Employees are helpful but they dont know the western union systems. If anyone wants to send money and are thinking about using western union PLEASE DO NOT USE WALGREENS FOR THAT!!! Go to a actual currency exchange and send it.
I lost 30 minutes for my photo and left frustrated.They could not make a passport photo transferred to flashcard or send me on email. The only way they offered is a CD. I do not have a CD reader, neither VHS player. I lost 30 minutes waiting for my passport photo in electronic form and at the end I could only get a CD which I have no place to read. Very frustrating experience!!Originally I was taken care of by very helpful member CARL, he made a picture and removed the grey background. Later when I came to pickup my photo in electronic form - the manager, called Muhammed came out and said they are not going it. Only CD. I offered to get CDand flashcard if they transfer - the answer was No. The I asked to send this picture to me over email - the answer was No. Their system does not let them do this. I did it in Walgreens in the past. Not sure what kind of laziness does not let them do this.
Every time I need anything from the pharmacy, I have a wonderful experience with Natalia. I have two small children and Im always in a hurry.. Natalia goes above and beyond to answer all my questions and give me exactly what I need. She is so knowledgeable and always friendly. She is definitely a great asset to the company!!
Most of the pharmacy technicians are okay but I got a nasty disinterested and yawning one when going there on a Sunday. The people at their Deerfield location are way more friendly and human. The Walgreens mobile website is anything but user friendly, it is a real mess.
Great location and place - I got my traveling pics taken here multiple times. Also the pharmacy is great - and a free blood pressure monitor. There is a pharmacist there Natalia - there that helps my folks out all the time and they always pick that location because of her to pick up - because she is so nice and takes time to educate them on things - which is important - otherwise the store is clean and everything else is pretty straight forward!
I could try to come up with something witty but in reality Dante said it best Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. The only real question is how does the store manager or regional manager still have a job with Walgreens. I guess corporate Walgreens thinks this is good enough for us.

Wednesday July 22nd, someone needs to tell him that he is not the only person in this world who has work or problems.If you don’t like talking to people you should have chosen a different field of work instead of being a pharmacist or working in a pharmacy.Overall, I like the pharmacy.

Have had the wrong medicine filled for a child once and the wrong quantity another time. Can not reach anyone on the phone. Long hold wait then call dropped. It’s close but not taking any more Rx here. Have had a much better experience at CVS.
I have been shopping at this Walgreens for 8 years now and the customer service has gone down hill! I noticed they had recently hired a few new employees but they have a lot to learn about what good “ customer service “ is! Anna who is a new cashier is just plain weird and rude! Everytime I checkout with her she stares at me like “ a deer in headlights”, doesn’t say hello and not even a “ thank you!” My husband went in with my younger daughter two days before halloween, she was wearing her angel costume and kept telling my daughter that she didn’t wear the right attire to be an angel, then kept asking her where she bought it and so on....Anna is a freak! can’t believe they hired this nut job! She’s lucky I was not there that day to hear this going on, that’s all I gotta say!
Best Pharmacy Customer Service! ! ! Late in the evening called in a prescription refill. 19 minutes later pulled up to the drive thru window and it was ready, insurance applied. . . Thank you guys!
In short, this store has gone to hell in a hand basket.When I first started using it back in 2009 it was great, then Walgreens diluted their brand with food, health care services, etc and it slowly got worse. The parking lot is always full, the service in the Pharmacy is always very slow, I have had them screw up my prescriptions multiple times, I am done with this place.Go to the Walgreens in Buffalo Grove if you must use or otherwise they have a new CVS about 2 miles away which is far better.
Local Walgreens. They should improve in the photo area, I always have issues with it and employees dont have a clue. The guys that used to work there a very long time ago....actually knew what they were doing. Now its a hit or miss, disappointing!!

This is the WORST Walgreens EVER!!!! EVERY time I come there is a problem with something!! Some of the staff are friendly but some are also very rude! But besides that, theyre just a bunch of incompetent people! Like how hard is it to fill a prescription?? I HATE having to pick up my dads prescriptions! I would NEVER recommend this Walgreens pharmacy to ANYONE!! And the only reason I gave them one star was because thats the only way I could write my review...they deserve 0 stars!!
Idk the name of the cashier working today 4/23 at around 9:30pm but damn what a poor customer service! Didn’t even say hello or thank you... didn’t bag my items and jus left them there without asking if i needed a bag, and when i asked for a bag he went like “jus for this two items?” Hmm i paid over $30 “for these two i teams” if i want a bag that Shouldn’t be one of his concerns.

I called the store beforehand, and they said the medicine would be ready. However, when I came and then was told that one of them was not available, and I was suggested to wait for a couple of days. It is understandable if happened once, But it happened twice! Every time it wastes my 1 hour on the way! I was told the call I made was to some call center but not to them, so bala bala, so this is not his fault…. So there was no sorry.I will never visit this strore again.
In a sense, I am forced to use the pharmacy at walgrens 10 Miwaukae Wheeling IL. It is hurt few professional, good employees and I do not want to do this wrong to people. but recent experiences are forcing me to give the pharmacy employees the worst possible opinions. you can clearly see that some of the personal are on vacation, they have just been a young person and it is simply tragic. insubordinate and impertinent they are trying to improve the doctors prescriptions and to send away old sick people without medication. some old people left me without medicine. for two days the road for the disabled is closed, a card has been written that the bell is broken. yesterday I was a witness how a person who could not move and did not give her medication, was ordered to enter the center and this person drove away with no medication. These are scandalous events and not to ideas in a democratic country, where two lazy woman / junge / they are discriminating against old and disabled people., in Wallgrens are very expensive, 30% more expensive than in Walmart or Target, I was here due to the fact that I did not have to go inside the store. but if the management does not do the right thing to these employees, move your medical account to another company. for the last 2 months of this pharmacy, it does not admit one star and I will wait a littleA month ago I had problems with two employees from Pharmacy 10 N. Milwaukee ave, Wheeling IL, Wallgrens store, I described these problems and at present I have problems with the doctor. I am 70 years old, I am on the endoprosthesis of two knees, I have osteoporosis and arthritis. CT scan showed that I also had a progressive, very painful curvature of the spine. I walk with a lot of effort and about a walker. 24 hours I have had pain for several years and only lives as normally as possible with painkillers and other medicines. The doctor prescribes me 120 tablets with the possibility to take them every 4 hours, i.e. I can take up to 6 tablets for 24 hours as needed, I take 4-5, or 120 tablets, I need 25-28 days. depending on the intensity of pain. several times in wallgreens Pharmacy in Wheeling I had problems getting tablets even though I had a prescription, it was stubbornly claimed that 30 days did not pass and I do not belong to the pills. I note that my insurance company never denied me covering the costs of these tablets, there was always a refund even if the tablets were enough for 23 days. I am very sorry, ladies from Pharmacy called my doctor and they made me have problems, I have them at the moment. I am very sorry that young people who work with sick and old people do not understand what is 24-hour, constant pain for several years, I also have a question whether the intention of the company Wallgreens is to limit the sale of expensive medicines / my cost about 700 $ monthly / at the same time negating the doctors recommendation and payment from the insurance company?
Every buisness have up and down but their employs maintain their quality and presentation, i was wonder to to see and i was very impressed by the walgreen employ Muhammad AIMAL in wheeling milwaukee location, He was very kind and very helpful, i was too frustrated due to the miss managment of other workers and when i went to the ring up he asked me are you ok ? you find everything good ? i told him my experience, he call other person on the register and he left his register, he help me out very kindly and give me proper reasons that why they dont have specific products, i was bery happy to see his costomer service, weldone keep it up walgreen specialy Muhammad Aimal.

Horrible experience!!!!!! Lots of empty space, missing merchandise that needs to be ordered!!! Dirty spots!!!Went shopping, asked for a basket, manager said:,, someone stole them!!”I was pushing my stroller, my baby is to small to be cared in a shopping cart 🛒, and too big for a infant car seat!!! So, I guess what?!!! I had to keep the multiple items in my arms and push the stroller!!!SHAME ON YOU !!! For hiring unprofessional people!!!P.s. top of that,the pharmacy sucks!!! Instead of giving me 90 pills prescription, they gave me 30!!! And charged my insurance for 90!!!!Horrible!!! Horrible!!!stuff!!!

Worst Service EVER received at a Walgreens location in 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!Day 1 - Monday 19th. Checked online for Zyrtec 5 pk, clearly stated it was in stock at this location which is convenient since I almost live right behind it. Walked in there and checked all around the Allergies section for almost 20 mins. NO ONE EVER CAME TO ASK WHAT THE HECK I NEEDED!!! When I finally asked the only answer I received was if it is not there we dont have it! thats it!!!????? come on!Day 2 - Tuesday 20th. Walked in after checking online and again it clearly stated in stock at 10 N MILWAUKEE unless that is not your address you losers! Looking for a different kind of product for 10-15 mins and no one came to ask again. At this point I kind of got the hint that customer service does not exist here, oh well! Suddenly i see a Pharmacist walking by which it was perfect and I asked if they had the product and simply said No, I dont think so I replied with I checked online and says you have it and she simply said not everything that is online we carry in the store and walked away.WOW!!! I almost feel like walking down to corporate office on Lake Cook and let them know about this! what a place filled with Losers! Customer Service is absent here, trust me people and the stock indication online is pure garbage! I will not be visiting this Walgreens location at all! Hate it! disgusting. Im a customer service supervisor at my work place and for me to say this means this place is tremendously awful!

I have trouble experience on pharmacy they charge me extra 3 $ to add taste on antibiotic but they didnt .that because the pharmacist make fancy room out of pharmacy for herself and doesnt check prescriptions and medicine before give it to the customer .
Called Photo Dept (mid-day) about a photo job that yet not been picked up ..... In middle of conversion, associate walked away while saying well get to the bottom of it ...... but after 15-minutes, the associate never returned to the phone !!!! .... During this time, I can hear the associate carrying on other business as if my call never occurred .... It did not appear that their workload was anything other than normal & casual business ..... Why does Space-Cadet come to mind !!!!
