Rob responded quickly to all of my inquiries/questions and helped me find an in-stock door that would work great for the heated garage on our new construction home. GDS was able to accomodate our hectic schedule and were very flexible & understanding on the day of the install when we ran into a couple of issues (on our end, not theirs). I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to any of our friends/family looking for anything garage door related!

We needed a special garage door opener installation, with special rails to allow space above the existing garage door so close to the ceiling. They offered and installed exactly what we needed, and lubricated the springs and wheels. The door opener works great! Very happy with the entire experience.

GDS has installed a replacement garage door and new front entryway for us over the years. Always professionally installed and Rob is always there to answer questions and provide suggestions for the design. Working with a long-term owner who is always there to help is a huge plus.Today GDS provided service to replace worn parts on the garage door and also do a general tune-up.The technician Scott was on time, courteous and professional. Replaced the door seal and rollers, checked operation and lubed the moving parts. Like having a new door. Purchased a house and one day it dawned on me, Is my garage door suppose to be this loud? Called up Garage Door Specialists and they scheduled a visit. Technician Scott showed up and was awesome! Apparently my garage door was NOT suppose to be noisy and he performed much needed maintenance and repairs quickly and efficiently! After Scott completed the service, it was night and day. My door is 10000x quieter. All I hear is the motor (which itself is pretty quiet) running when it opens and closes the garage door. This totally blew my mind. I highly recommend getting your garage door checked out if you have never done/if you garage door makes any sort of crazy noises when it opens or closes...it is NOT suppose to do that LOL. Just had our new garage doors and openers installed by GDS in Wheeling. What a great company to deal with! Right from the beginning Pam answered our preliminary questions, and then Rob came out to measure and spent time to explain everything. The installer was a terrific guy, very knowledgeable, and when he left there wasnt a single thing left behind. He cleaned everything up. You wouldnt know we had doors installed.
