Great place to shop. Just some really rude cashiers not all but some of them. Really bad attitude and manners. Had twice a unfortunately encounter with same cashier. The worse one was to be present while she bully a new cashier instead of teaching her. Broke my heart to see that.

Big store and very good specials.

A place that sells food needs to be spotless, specially were the food is displayed, I show the picture to the store manager and he didnt pay to much attention to it. I will not come back to this place again, I wonder how they are handling Covid-19 to protect the customers.

The manager Pat is awesome here. Really helped us out and we will for-sure be shopping here while we are in Wheeling! Recommended the place to everyone we knew in the area as well

Appalling is the word best used to describe this place. Not only was it filthy but the customer services was mortifying. If youre looking to grab a bite to eat this isnt the place, the food sucks. Its old and will definitely make your stomach upset.

It feels nostalgic going to Carniceria Jimenez and Im always glad to support local and family owned. I know there is also a few in the city, I appreciate the open space, quality stock and prices!Hidden gem for anyone that isnt aware is tacqueria and juice bar in the back by Deli and Bakery!

I went there to buy a fry fish and they give me a small fish witn no meat and ghey charge me almost $4.00. then the next day went again to buy eggs and those were outdated. Somebody tell me that that store have a lot on outdafed pdoducts so people watch out when you buy there

I really like this place because its so close and so cheap. Not exactly the cheapest, but within budget. Quite the big store with a good Mexican food selection. Plus it has a lottery station, bakery, restaurant, and a carnitas section. Ive been going here since I was really young

Fantastic Mexican grocery store and meat market. Awesome tacos and other traditional Mexican offerings make Jimenez the spot to stop at whenever I want quality skirt steak or a quick couple of tacos!!

My 1st time there! While I know this is a grocery store that caters to the Hispanic community, I had a hard time figuring out the baking good section because all the descriptions I was needing were in Spanish. I do plan to return there as it is a nice place and the fruit looked awesome and fresh and I couldnt resist buying some!

Great store, good meat, good hot prepared foods. Some things are pricey, clean store,sales are good. Large variety of Spanish foods. I dont see other races working in the store tho. Yet other races shop there. Interesting.

Ive been a regular customer at Jimenez in Wheeling since back in 2004 when I started working around the area of Riverwoods and Lincolnshire. Being one of the few Mexicans usually working at these two companies in the IT field, I am usually asked to recommend authentic places around this area. weve had many people attend this store for the food in the restaurant area and for shopping for fruits, vegetables, meats, and other groceries. we rally love getting their calendars every year since it helps us remember to visit the store regularly and/or promote for others to go attend once they see our calendars displayed in our work space at the office. this year 2020, we attended on January 10th and were told there are no more calendars available. needless to say we were all a bit disappointed and now we wont have reminders to visit on a regular basis. too bad for Jimenez I think....

They have a decent selection here, I remember they used to be better. Prices have gone up recently and I also spotted a few expired canned goods sitting on the shelf ready for sale.The meats arent very fresh unfortunately and the staff there are friendly, but they will talk amongst each other in Spanish about you like you dont understand a word. Definitely a place to visit if you need some spices that arent available elsewhere.

Great place to find everything we miss from Mexico. Courteous employees, in store restaurant, and good prices. I love that they dont throw away fruits and veggies that have bruises too, they mark them down incase someone wants them!! Also, they do have parking lot cart keepers, if it hits your car its your fault for not using it. Keep in mind this lot belongs to many stores and they cant put cart keepers around the entire lot because they share.

Horrible customer service. There own employees steel from customers. I lost my wallet and people around that saw when I dropped it told me that an employee had pick up the wallet I called if any one had turned in a wallet and the lady gave me attitude.

Great skirt steak, the butcher will take the fat off and put the meat through the cuber if you ask them to.

The restaurant in this grocery store has the most amazing food! The gorditos were to die for!! The Mexican bakery is huge also and cheap!

I’m sorry to say this but this it’s been one of my favorite grocery stores but yesterday I try to go get some groceries and parking lot was packed and I could see from outside store was packed with costumers, very disappointed to see they aren’t practicing the safety distance rule and letting so many people in at same time !

My grandma went shopping and was shorted $20 ... when I went in to talk to manager he was very rude and would not even take the time to look back at the cameras... the manager insalted me and my grandmother ...I ended up calling the police to file a police report...i do not shop here because it smells like old blood and the fruit and vegetables look gross .. over pirced... Im glad wheeling has another option like fresh farms or even to get better prices we have Tonys they are awesome and the people are nice.. the only reason this store is still open is because of our Hispanic population here and Wheeling theyre the ones that are keeping the store open only if they knew better to go to a better store they can get better produce ...

Its alright. Depending on items, prices can be a little too much to the point that you may just want to go to a fancy supermarket. I live almost right behind it so it is convenient
