I found Proper in an online search and through reviews. Joe was attentive and the service was done quickly and professionally. I became a customer. Now Im going there for inspection… I recommend Proper to everyone…

I found Proper Car Service online when I was in a bind, stranded and completely stressed out. When I called Joe answered, he was calming and reassuring and explained what I had to do next. Had my vehicle towed to the place and after checking it out Joe explained in detail what was wrong and how to fix it. He was honest and transparent, he did all he could to keep the cost as low as possible and he delivered as promised. I now know that I’ll be a Proper customer for life.

This was my first experience with Proper Service, and Im certain I will use them again going forward. Work was thorough, reasonably priced and completed when promised. Joe also arranged to pick up my car from a nearby body shop, as it wasnt clear whether the car would be safe to drive. I generally loathe going to repair shops, as many treat women differently. I didnt get that sense at all at Proper.

Joe and his team have been servicing my cars for years!! Highly professional and knowledgeable! I refuse to go to any other mechanic. He also has been servicing my husbands range rover and they are one of the only mechanics specializing in foreign cars. They are super nice, affordable and easy to work with! One of the most honest auto repairs shops I have eve dealt with. My cars always come out with the issue fixed and I never break my bank! Thanks Joe for everything! I highly recommend!

I brought a newly purchased vehicle here for an inspection. They were very quick about getting me in and out even though I showed up without an appointment or any prior notice. I had an opportunity to speak with some of the people there while during my short wait and I had a great time talking with them. There were other customers there that appeared to be repeat customers. I received a lot of free advice regarding aspects of my new vehicle. I recommend this place.

He and his mechanics do great work — kept my Oldsmobile cutlass going way longer than she should’ve with me driving her. Joe at Proper Service is an Honest and Trustworthy. I had my vehicle at a different shop and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. My vehicle went in the shop for a stalling condition and a Check Engine Light. Joe quickly got my vehicle in the shop (even though I did not have an appointment.) He then told me I had a Code for a bad Catalytic converter, so I asked what the cost of the Repair would be??? He had said to me He called the Local dealer and It was part of an Emissions Warranty. He even called the Local dealer made an appointment with them and dropped my vehicle off to the dealer for me. He didnt even Charge me a Diagnosis fee or anything. This was refreshing since I had my vehicle at another shop who charged my $97.00 to diagnose my vehicle but could not figure out what was wrong with it.

Joe & his techs R the best..wouldnt go anywhere else..takes care of our 2014 & 2010 Jeeps with expert care...hes also a really lovely guy. Thanks Joe. (Jamie)

Came for service a few times was given great service at good prices so I kept coming back. The last time I came I wanted to fix the passanger door, blinker light and get an oil change. Everything came out to be more then I had expected and was willing to pay at the time. I was not turned off by the price however by the reaction I received when I mentioned I could not pay for everything (it was an estimated price). I was initially charged $75 for the labor but when I returned to pick up the car I was charged 95$ instead. I asked how much it would be to change my girlfriends oil and was told you cant drive bmws and ask how much those services are. I was trying to bring business and was challanged when I asked the cost. You dont buy things without looking at the price tag and you dont charge one price and upcharge when the person arrives. Not to mention when I got in my car it had been stalled, and whoever parked it left it on as it was without bothering to properly park it. Sorry Joe, Thanks for your previous help but I will no longer bring my car in for service.
