Waited and waited for the lady in service and tires who would rather be on the phone then help in store customers. Well I finally talked with her. Told her I needed my side mirror fixed. Her response Do you have the part? Its late and we cant get the part. Give you zero stars for your attitude!

After 40 minutes of online shopping, the local Pep Boys was the best choice for my car battery.The employees were helpful.However, they mentioned a $20 rebate that wasn’t honored. I filled out the rebate submission online including the receipt info, and I still have printed copies of both. It’s nearing a year since my purchase, and I did one follow-up (months ago) with no reply.A company is only as strong as its promises. If Pep Boys promotes a rebate, it should be honored.

Didn’t have what I needed. Carried it but was out of stock. It happens. Came in early morning and was immediately ask if I needed help then he walk me to the section it was supposed to be in. Great customer service. Plenty of parking and they have a bunch of service bays.

Driver who gets vehicle serive every 3 weeks, youd think they would want your business in these times. Customer service is horrible, failure to complete tire rotation after I mark them. Fluids never replaced when asked. Wheel alignment they screwed up and refused to correct, had to take it to Downey pepboys. Never replace mileage tracker after service.Just yesterday I went in and now my headlight needs to be replaced..To be clear this is not the first time Ive gone in for service and had some sort of electrical malfunction after.

Service was Terrible, attitude Terrible. Would rather help customers on phone rather than customers on site. Was wondering why the guy had attitude, hes friends with manager. Dont waste your time, OReilly is right up the street.

I went in to figure out the cause of a check engine light. 3 employees just stared at me until I walked to the register for them to say hello. The place was empty 2 said to talk to person at the service desk for them to tell me no one is available to check on my vehicle on at 3pm on a Thursday afternoon.

I think customer service is no longer an option but nowadays theres so many options to go to you no longer have to put up with bad service that customer service or then trying to overcharge you the people that work at this location they dont care about you all that care is doing their job mediocrely and moving on nothing else and I think thats the reason theyre going or will be going out of business.

I bought 4 tires from this company and also bought the warranty. I had a flat tire, I went there to fix the problem. They told me that the tire can;t be repair because it had a nail 2 inches close to the border of the tire. They told me that the patch was big and it cant fit to fix the tire. They offer me another brand of tire because they didnt have my model of my tire. I went to a professional business to fix the tire, they fixed my tire with a patch with no problems in about 20 minutes. From now on Im going to buy my tires from another place, the warranty on Pep Boys is not good.

The Service Manager Alex was fantastic. We needed to buy a set of tires as I ran over roofing nails somewhere on the streets of Los Angeles and we did call and actually go to the ELA location. The ELA location said we would have our tires this morning. Upon calling they were giving us a completely different tire. My husband was so adiment he wanted white lettering. My husband said we were going for our vehicle put the tires back on. Thats when I called the Whittier location on Washington Blvd and spoke with Alex. I drive my grandchildren to and from school so I need to be safe on the road.

Only service Ive done here is machining rotors and theyre great for that, its a bargain compared to buying new rotors. The prices on items in the store are a marked up relative to Auto Zone. The tool rental can be helpful if they have what you want in stock. The clerks and staff are friendly and helpful. If you need your car serviced on a Sunday, this is one option.

Beware of this location. Ordered some tires for my classic lowrider and found out after I did a cash and carry that the tires were used. When I returned to try and get a refund, they said I already mounted the tires and they were not returnable. Had me pretty upset as I never had them mounted and the reason for the return was the yellowing of the white walls. Be careful what you purchase here because at this point anything can be used and sold as new.

Bought a set of 4 tires cooper 65k miles total was 512 with the buy 4 get one free. Thomas at the counter was awesome and he got me in on a Sunday night at 430. They had it done in 40 minutes. Excellent service and associates.

Shout out to the outstanding team at this Pep Boys location! Absolutely amazing human beings! We were stranded with my best friend - had a flat tire (very specific one on a Mini) and it was less than an hour before they were closing on the night of Dec 30th. A few other shops refused to take us in and help because it was an hour before their closing time. They took us in, the manager Joe was leaving when they called him and he came back and did everything possible to help us. He didn’t have what we needed in stock and after trying for almost an hour he was leaving again when he remembered he might have it in one of the showcases or something so he did find and and they were able to replace the tire so the car was temporarily drivable. He treated us like family! The whole team stayed overtime to help us! It is so amazing to meet and interact with caring people like that! Thank you Joe, Nathan, Jessica and everyone else that I might not know the name of who helped us. Keep up the amazing work and attitude!

Came in to get some tires. They told me they finishing an oil change then Im next . All they are doing is standing around BS trying to hide. 30 mins just talking and laughing. Their are 3 to 4 guys just laughing. The sad part about this is that the person in charge is also their with them and not saying anything.

Good guys working in there, I walked in to pick up my truck and the other service people were busy with other customers so the district manager and service manager came out of their office to help me when they saw me standing there which was only a minute after the other service guys said they would be with me after their current customer

If I can give 0 stars I would. I had a complete flat while driving with my daughter. U pulled in while they still had more than half a hour before closing and they refused to fix my tire. I had put air and pray I made it to my destination. I will never come here again. I had better service at walmart.

I scheduled online in the express hope of avoiding this situation.I understand that work flows can be impacted, but at least give the courtesy of some sort of notification that there are expected delays.

Terrible. I dont recommend this location. I made an appointment for a tire rotation. Check of fluids and reset my mileage light for my following service of oil change. I had to work at the time of the appointment so my mom took the car. They literally did not do any service to my vehicle simply turned off the maintaince light. I drive far to work 40+ miles a day (80 miles round trip) and keeping up with my car is necessary. They really should listen to their customers. Rather than believe they know best and doing whatever the hell they want.

Purchased some Mopar signs that they had and both signs were the last ones . Both were a scratched up a bit one was scratched dented and paint was chipping but Im a Mopar gal and of course I wanted them so I asked if I can get a discount in them. Well I was given a discount on one of the 2 items and it was only for 1.50 off 😒..... If I had known that I would only get a buck 50 off I would have told the dude nevermind ill find it on line e somewhere cheaper. Other than that and section of items being low it was ok I guess. But nothing great about it

We went to this location to see on buying some tires for there big black friday sale first people here are veryyyy rude plus they walk by you and dont even help you very bad customer service they should hire nice people that can be more helpful i give them only 1 star..

Made an appointment for 10 am its now 3 pm and was told in 45 minutes well work on your car. Its now 4 pm I called back to see if it was beign looked at and they said no. After cancelling the work on it, and going to pick it up the manager Joe offered me a free engine diagnostic for my car which is why I brought it in. Not bad but now I have to drive around with the check engine light on for another day since its 5 pm and all the small shops around me keep telling me come back tommorow.

Service was adequate, staff was less than professional namely Thomas who made disparaging comments about customers after he hung up the phone with them.

Came here for a simple battery change and messed that up. I specifically came to Pep boys to change my battery so that they can use the car memory machine so the idle on the can would not change. There machine was not working but they change the battery anyways. After changing the battery of course the idle on my car was too low causing my car to shut off. The maintenance man re-started my car several times and would rev the engine violently and told me that would fix it.I this place cant handle a simple battery change out, I would not trust them with anything else.

Lug nuts werent tighten, I came right back to talk to the manager. Im a forman Eletrician, takes guts to do what I do But its done right. Pepboys forgot a very important step! People lose their lives due to this, and its posted all over your shop.

Had an appointment at 11am 30 minutes later car is still not in the stall. 30 minutes appointments for oil change is false advertising I was here early just to make sure I would be out in 30 since I do need to go back to work. Only reason I can here was because vehicle is company issued and maintenance plan had Pep Boys as an option next time Ill just go to Valoline or Jiffy Lube. Oh there 30 minutes are up and car still not in the stall.

I take my car here usually when it needs service. Todays service was fast and friendly and at a fair price.

They had my car for over 4 hours just to change the break pads. When I finally picked it up they had broken off two lug nuts and studs from the front tires so I had to take my car back a second time to get that fixed. After all this I sent in a form to get a prepaid visa card and never got anything in the mail.
