I like this smart and final .. I would give them 5 stars only if they had enough cash boxes open and offer a little help finding stuff.. Once in a while Ill get a rude employee but 8 of 10 this store would be considered OK . (A LITTLE XTRA GOES A LONG WAY )

Well, not a very good experience unfortunately. No shopping carts could be found, the parking lot was full of homeless, and there was trash everywhere. The shelves were not stocked at all, and there were very few bags to be found in the produce department. The store was not busy at all, now I know why. Still need to go to another store to finish my shopping because I couldnt get everything on my list.I wont be back

They have a very fresh selection of produce at excellent prices. Also plenty of items you dont find at other markets (i.e. coffee pots and supplies). The prices are low and the customer service and cleanliness are at high standards.

Stores I frequent are well stocked, clear aisles minimum floor stacks, plenty of shopping carts, clean and stocked restrooms, cashiers are pleasant, plenty of parking, including dissabled spots. Mid afternoon is my best time to shop.

Its a fantastic place to work I did some mechanical business out in the parking lot helped a gentleman get his vehicle running everything was fantastic nice big parking lot everything was peaceful and everything was wonderful plenty of police presence so that nothing evil will happen

I have been in your store on several occasions in the past few weeks. I have really tried to be open minded with all the craziness going on these days. However, I have to say the customer service is the worst I have ever come across. The checkers are talking to each other and visiting totally ignoring the customer. I purposely group all my gold goods together so that I can put them in my insulated bags. The person bagging always seems to separate and mix it up. I have asked employees working in the store for help finding something and out of the last 4 times, 3 of them said I just started working here and I don’t know. I would think they would maybe try to find out??I keep going back, hoping that maybe the service will improve. I never see any kind of managers around. And the checkers are all pretty rude.Thank you for listening. Hopefully things will change.I like Smart and Final products but I’m being forced to go elsewhere.Janet

Went here last night to do grocery shopping and went to pay and the lines were ridiculously long only 3 cashiers opened and taking forever smart & final you guys need more people working the registers .

The one thing I like best is the qued checkout line. I dont have to figure out which line is faster. Makes checking out painless.

Avoid going to Valerie’s line. Valerie is the worst cashier ever! she’s the slowest cashier that I’ve ever met that works at Smart and final. Valerie, please take a class to learn some common sense! Or work some where else for our community’s sake!!

I love this Smart and Final! I had to get something kind of urgent on Wednesday; I walked in and got everything I needed very quickly. It’s clean, big, and very organized! They have a huge selection of everything from produce to toilet paper! You know everybody is looking for toilet papers right now!lol!!! The staffs were friendly and very proactive to help if you need to locate something! I highly recommend this store!!!

Love this place for the deals, but the lines a CRAZY long and it makes no sense! Have more cashiers working at the same time!

Plenty of parking and indoor space so you dont feel like youre tripping over everyone.Least busy time to go is around 2pm between Wednesday and Friday in the middle of the month. Always shop the sales and u wont be disappointed.

Quick and clean nice cashiers

Finding my grocery items was no problem. Though the checkout line stretched all the way to the back of the store along the freezer section they only had three cashiers. This is the only problem I had.

I recently shopped at the Whittier store. I had such a bad experience that I said to myself I would never go to Smart and Final again. I thought about it and decided I would never go to the Whittier store again. Their customer service is the worst I ever had.

Love this store!!! Their rotisserie chicken is very tasty and full of flavor😋 but you have to be quick cuz it flies off the shelf!!! Overall very well stocked. Lots of parking. Convenient location.Would definitely recommend.

Great place to shop for groceries early morning. Employees are very kind and helpful. Our cashier was a nice young lady named Joanna very sweet and courteous. I would shop here in a daily basis if needed.

Horrible...there were 43 people in line at check out and only 2 cashiers. This has been my experience last 3 visits I will not return to this market.

I like their selection of bulk food items. Usually well-stocked. Very good produce department with fair pricing. Store size has grown over the years & is well maintained with friendly employees. Lots of large size products.

Broasted chicken is wonderful, but its not always available. Sometimes plenty, or theres none at all. Never know if it will be there, so dont plan a meal around it. Is better than Costcos chicken. The produce is pretty good, too.

Line was very long. It took them almost 10minutes to open up a new register. Lots of good deals periodically. Overpriced for bulk in my opinion. Costco is better fit if youre looking for bulk items, and are expecting to save

It seems they are getting worse every time I go in there. On a Saturday morning they were out of fresh strawberries and hawaiian sweet bread. I also looked for the small tangerines in the bag. Every bag already had fruit that was turning black and starting to rot. It is as if they are maintaining minimum inventories with no reserve stock to replenish shelves. Just a terrible store to shop at.

Long line and horrible service

Smart and Final Extra in Whittier is well-staffed and well-stocked. I went through to pick up a few items on a weekday afternoon and it was plenty crowded, yet the staff seemed to handle it all well. Found just about everything I was looking for, besides some goat cheese, otherwise, it met all my needs. My one gripe I had was the cheese section, or should I say sections. The cheese is actually separated into three separate sections, Im sure there is some explanation for that, a grocers secret that I wouldnt understand, but still, it made no sense and made looking for cheese slightly annoying.
