Bought a vehicle here in June with the promise that the scratches would be buffed and repaired following purchase. Dropped my vehicle off in the morning, they told me I would probably be able to pick it up that same day. Called multiple times, no answer. Finally got an answer the next day, they said it was ready to be picked up. Two days without a car while very pregnant with a toddler. Come to find out that buffing and repairing is actually just scribbling in with a paint pen that they left in my cupholder. Im now trying to trade this vehicle in and suffering the big hit its value takes due to the unrepaired cosmetic damage. I dont have pictures of before the repair but believe it or not, it actually looked better than it does now. Please do not make the same mistake I did in trusting they would hold up their end of the bargain, it will cost you.
You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesmen.” And then… they don’t come. Instead, you get friendly people who don’t try to “push” anything on you. They’re helpful. They listen. They’re accommodating. That was my experience with Midwest Kia. I have to give a huge shout out to VICTOR and BYRON, these guys are like no other, I felt as if I was part of there family. Not once did I feel like I was being pressured into buying a vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and wasn’t going to budge. To my surprise I got way more then I could have ever expected. VICTOR personally drove 3 hours to another location to get a vehicle I was interested in. BYRON drove me around the lot looking for the perfect vehicle, and not once tried to push anything that wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I also have to give a huge thank you to BRYAN and TIMM, these guys went to bat for me. BRYAN got me such a good deal I had to double to check to make sure there wasn’t a mistake, I couldn’t believe it. TIMM was a pleasure to work with, not only did he stay an hour past closing but because of a mistake on my end he had to redo all of my documents and did so with a smile on his face. All in all this was not just the best car buying experience ive had, it’s the best car buying experience ive ever heard of. The sales team at Midwest Kia set the bar that every dealership needs to meet. Thank you again VICTOR, BYRON, BRIAN, and TIMM, for this amazing truck. I couldn’t have gotten a better deal anywhere els.
After my optima leaving me on the side of the road die to a recall. I had my vehicle towed to Midwest Kia and it took then a month to put my new engine in and was without a vehicle for a month due to them supposedly not having any rentals available. I finally got my car back and had it not even an hour and smelled antifreeze so looking under the hood and theres a leak. I took it back to kia for them to fix that and two hours later I got the car back and there are two places on my bumper where paint is now chipped and coming off. I called Kia and they claim it wasnt them and for me to call my tow company but when the car was towed to Kia the bumper was in perfect condition.

Byron is an Awesome sales guy and was NOT pushy at all, very friendly and knowledgeable & helped work with us showing us what we wanted (and not a bunch of what we did not - so he wasn’t wasting our time). Everyone we dealt with there was very polite & professional and it was a good buying experience. Big Thanks to Byron! Both my wife & I are very happy with the new car. Im considering a Kia but havent bought a car here, and cant seem to be a window shopper without talking to their automated chat bot and their Google profile disabled the questions section.HERES THE ODD THING: Midwest Kia has a TV commercial currently that features a large gong (a big Oriental circular metal plate that hangs down and you hit it with a drum stick to make a loud sound) and the gong has the word WUHAN written on it in big letters. I attached a picture.I wanted to know if that is some reference to the suspected location of the origin of COVID-19, and the mess it has caused. And why are they apparently celebrating it?Ill consider them when ready to buy after summer but I tried to ask several ways and its hard to talk to an actual person without bothering a salesperson.

Poor communication, went in on 7-30 to get a cancellation done on our warranty as we had traded the vehicle in. We were helped and said he would have it submitted as soon as we got the documents to him. Got everything sent over to him in about 3 days, said he would have it taken care of that night. Never heard a word. Then, we went in to check the status as our emails and calls were ignored. Said he would take care of it Thursday 8-5. Never done. Sent a few more emails, calls just to make sure it was indeed completed, never returned. Finally, fed up with getting the run around, we went in again on 8/10. Sat there and waited for about 10 minutes before anyone came over to help, a lady from the loan department I’m assuming came out, with a little attitude and told us it was done and sent to cancellations and taken care of and we would receive a check in 8-10 weeks. Great!Well, we get a phone call today 8-11 from the cancellations department, needing documentation sent over as barely anything was provided to even start the cancellation process from the gentleman helping us! So, we resent everything over… again… and the very nice lady from the cancellations department made sure it was taken care of a processed TODAY for us and told us we would receive our check in two weeks. Perfect, finally done after almost two weeks of getting the run around!To be clear, communication is very poor, especially if you are looking to be professional! Second off, never got a straight forward answer, and were told 3 different dates as to when the check would be mailed, 4 weeks, 8-10 weeks and now 2 weeks. Finally got a straight answer. It’s 2 weeks. Also try to be a little friendlier when talking to clients and customers, we may not have been buying a vehicle there that day, but we have bought 3 vehicles in the past 3 years, and referred another who purchased a vehicle. Safe to say, we will not be buying any vehicles there anymore nor will we recommend anyone going there! So, if you’re in the market for a new car, strongly suggest going elsewhere because they won’t help you unless you’re there to buy, they’ll gladly take your money but not offer anything else!
My sales rep was sweet. He definitely tried to be accommodating. I know he tried but half the time I wasnt even dealing with him, I was dealing with a supervisor. I went in with a trade which they haggled back and forth with me over when it was a waste of my time because I knew what my trade was worth. Then, I bought a Kia with a promised monthly payment which all of a sudden isnt approved once I already have the vehicle and live three hours away so its not like I can just return it. Plus. I hadnt even made it home before the check engine light came on. Im frustrated and feel tricked into a payment that I luckily can afford but definitely hadnt agreed upon. Not sure Id recommend going here

After the worst experience I have EVER had, we went to midwest kia. They took the experience we had at carmax and flipped it all the way around, and made it great. I wish I would have just gone there first. I would DEFINITELY recommend the to anyone. If it wasnt so expensive, I would buy a car from them every day.

Set a specific appointment time to make an offer on a vehicle. Was told on arrival another couple was making an offer on the vehicle at that moment. We completed all the paper work just to be told the another couple beat us. I have asked not to be contacted any further. However, Midwest Kia has tried to contact me. I will never buy a vehicle from Midwest Kia.

He gave us time to look over all the vehicles and then asked if we needed any help. We stayed within our budget and did not have to endure any high pressure upsales. We drove off in the exact car we had researched.The entire transaction at midwest kia was great. Highly recommend.

If I could leave negative stars I would. payed 1000 $ to order a new car get there to pick it up they let some one test drive MY car . Had it sold before they figured it out sold that person next up series for the same price. I got offered an oil change by my sales person not the dealer. had to beg to get my front plate holder put on Im from nebraska . waited almost the 30 days I have in nebraska to plate my car before I had the paper work. would not send my worst enemy there.
SHARKS! went in and told them what we were looking for and the first guy says ok yeah ill show you some and then on the way to look after stating wed rather look at options of used vehicles he quickly pushed us off onto another salesman that asks for the keys to our potential trade then proceeds to tell us we will go on a test drive gets us in the vehicle, drives us around the lot pointing out things we have no interest in and then approximately 30+min later lets us go out for a drive. The vehicle had obvious transmission problems so we immediately returned and told them about it and their response was those vehicles just do that so theres no safety issue there its just normal they still tried to get us to fill out credit applications we told them several times we were not interested and asked for our keys, he said he needed to get them then sent another guy to talk to us. Again we asked for our keys. The original guy came over and told us bye and thanks for coming but had yet to give us our keys. When we asked again he said he had to go get them out of the safe. At this point i let go of friendly and got to the point, we finally got our keys. On our way out they said theyd have a vehicle in the following week for us. We never heard back and never returned.

The Worse Customer Service Ive Ever Experienced. Nice Cars but have huge problems with motors blowing up. Then your stuck without a car for weeks on end. Having to pay for a rental car,even though the cars under warranty waiting for a new motor. Because they have no loaner cars while you wait.
This is my second KIA in 2 years. I wouldnt bother going to any other dealer. It is a relief to pull up and not be bombarded with 50 sales people asking you a million questions.I had the pleasure of working with Diego who was laid back and did not pressure me just so he could make a sale. He asked the correct questions in order to help me find the perfect vehicle. Most importantly, he allowed me to look and process everything without adding extra stress. I actually took a couple of days before making my decision. Although Diego had my phone number, he did not harass me with phone calls or texts after our first visit. Instead, he respected my wishes and actually waited for me to contact him! This act of integrity triggered my decision to quit looking at any other dealership. None of the other dealerships respected me enough to honor my request.When you find the model you want, dont be afraid to upgrade the trim. For the second time, Joe allowed me to walk away with the vehicle I thought I would never be able to afford. I gave him a realistic number of what I wanted to pay and he made it happen!In case you are wondering, I am not getting paid to write this or recieving any kind of kickback (although I would accept it if offered). I just appreciate superior customer service and relations and wanted to share my experience with others!
I usually dont write reviews of companies or products but in this case with a purchase as large as I have made with this company I feel it necessary.I purchased a used 2010 Mazda CX-9 from this car dealer in May 2019. The car is now sitting in my driveway, undrivable, thanks to a blown head-gasket in February of this year. Which according to a trusted mechanic should have been spotted as near failure a long, long, time ago. I was essentially living on borrowed time. Out of my 48 Month, $10,000 car loan, Ive gotten about 20 months worth of use of my car on the term of my loan. You do the math on that and see if thats a good deal.The original deal went a little rough as I admit I drove a pretty hard bargain, and they kept cycling managers and salesmen through to negotiate with me. I do not buy a thing based off of low payments or a 4 Square but rather what the end cost will be. I have a pretty strong aversion to going into debt for depreciating assets like cars.When they showed me their credit check it seems they had Shotgunned my credit check with multiple hard checks at multiple banks significantly reducing my admittedly not great (at the time, it is now significantly better) credit. This comes into play here soon.After arriving at what we thought was a deal we drove the car for a week and into a weekend and you guessed it, we got a call and wouldnt you know it the deal/financing Fell through and thus I would have to return the car of course and agree to higher financing terms and add ons. The typical spot delivery scam. The finance guy was pushy and arrogant through the entire re-wind of the deal refusing to negotiate and even offended we would accuse them of the spot delivery scam. They even did the classic Well report the car stolen line to my wife.We were admittedly stressed and angry at this scam as they had our trade in and our credit union who we had decided to reach out to was slow in responding to calls.I requested the original contract to keep and was told that it was impossible to do that as it was proprietary. The new contract states that the car needs body or mechanical work. What that work is, is never disclosed anywhere in the contract. Roll the dice and find out I guess.All in all, I will never return to Midwest Kia and advise others to steer clear of it.
Sold a car to them. Very dishonest about the deal. They will not communicate with you and if you finally call them they are rude. If they owe you money they will not follow-up on it and try to take care of you. Hopefully I save someone the headache of dealing with this unprofessional staff.

Lies about your tire condition and then tells you everything that’s wrong about your tires after your warranty expires. Buyer beware. More lies below and left out the part about me coming in 3-4 months before the warranty expired for an oil change and nothing was said about my tires. Would of excepted this response if told then. Convenient to state it after my warranty expired.
We purchased our 1st KIA from Ashleigh Pearce and she ensured we had a great experience! This was a big purchase for us because we were Buying our teenage daughter her first car. As a Mom, I was wanting as many safety features as possible within our budget. I even had my 2 page researched list of 2020 safest cars for teens, lol. Ashleigh was a true professional. She asked questions, acknowledged the things that were important to me, and was patient and kind through the process. She was a true expert and even provided me with additional research Information to help me feel even more comfortable about the cars we were considering. Ashleigh’s follow up and follow through was exceptional. She stayed in touch with us, letting us know about new arrivals and deals on a daily/weekly basis. We are super happy with our KIA and our daughter was definitely surprised and happy with her new car and just in time for the first day of school. Had a appointment with service department because engine light keeps coming on and off. They said it was a o2 sensor and schedule me a appointment for a Wednesday following week. Took off work and showed up. They couldn’t find my appointment or anything confirming I had even been in the week before. Was also asked if they ordered a part. Not sure how I’m suppose to know if they are doing there job or not. Apparently even with a extended warranty you need to buy your own parts and bring them with you since they don’t order parts in advance. They don’t even save the check engine code apparently they are hoping the problem will just fix it’s self!Also be prepared for them to try to get you to replace filters and anything else they can upsell you on. I feel like I’m in a jiffy lube. Watching them charge the guy across from me $90 for a cabin filter and engine filter, that weren’t even dirty! Lol

The whole Kia brand is awful. They sell cars with recalls on bad motors then try to find any way out honoring the recall. Buy Toyota

Thank you to Brandon, service team advisor and everybody at Kia who worked on my car! Because of Covid-19 I was loooong overdue on service. I came in at 2:30 and Brandon said 4PM to be done. Well, then we added a few things and I thought, Ill be here forever. But pleasantly it was only 25 more minutes! For everything that needed to be done, under 2 hours was great! Everybody seems to really genuinely care about me and my car. Thanks to the guy that came along with water just when I needed it!
We drove over 2 hours to purchase a suv. I had already filled out financing paperwork and was ready to buy. When I arrived the vehicle was extremely dirty, had a cracked windshield, chips everywhere, and had a broken back wiper. Big Al was argumentative we me and my family and blamed us for the vehicle condition states it was our fault for not giving enough notice. I had been in contact with the dealership for 1 week prior to arrival. Calls not returned abd salesmen not motivated to sell anything.
Not happy with my 30,000 dollar Kia. Nothing but trouble now it needs a new engine and the Kia in kc can’t fix it for 2 months and won’t even give us a loaner car to drive. Don’t buy a Kia. Or from wichita Kia.
Fast and friendly didn’t spend all day car shop
Horrible experience with Midwest Kia Service department in Wichita. Last Kia I ever buy.I took the day off from work to get a factory recall done and they canceled on me the day before. Thats not the problem. They schedule me for a month later when they can provide me with a loaner car. When I returned it the fuel gage was still on Full, I just drove to work and then back to the dealer when they were done. The manager was rude when he told me I needed to fill the tank. They said it wasnt full enough. I went across the street and got a whole gallon and almost 1/2 before it was full. I was even looking at the new Kia Soul while I waited when I dropped it off. Im on my second Soul and it is the last Kia I will ever purchase.

I love my new kia, but took it in to get serviced and their customer service sucks, they never call I had to call 4 times before they answered the phone only to be told they need my car longer, didnt tell me they ordered a part thatll take a week, like they could have told me that the 1st or second time I talked to them not the 5th

They were knowledgeable about the cars I test drove, and they bent over backwards during the sale to make sure I got what I wanted both from the car and the sale. Their customer service even after the sale is stellar. A great dealership to work with through the whole buying process.
This was my first trip to have my new 2020 Kia serviced. Upon arrival, I was quickly guided into the service area. The waiting area was accommodating and very clean. Services were performed in an ample amount of time. Upon completion, all services performed were explained to me, along with questions that I asked. Great experience!

Forewarning, this will be a long review, but it’s a good one. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I live roughly 2.5 hours away from this dealership. To begin with, we were in the market for a 2021 Kia K5 EX w/ Premium Package. Inventory meeting those specifications are limited. We worked with roughly five dealerships around our area before coming across Midwest Kia in Wichita. I would give anything to have nixed all those previous experiences and found them straight away. The experiences with the Kia dealerships before Midwest Kia were beyond awful, especially the one in Manhattan. You can read that review for yourself. My husband and I are car enthusiasts, so we have bought and traded our fair share. We know the ins and outs, do’s, and don’ts. As mentioned, we live roughly 2.5 hours away, so after some online research, we came across Marcus Wise, who had stellar reviews. We emailed him our trade information and gave the info on the car we were interested in Tuesday evening (near closing time). He gave it to the General Sales Manager, Joe, the next day (yesterday), and let me tell you, this was the best experience we have ever had (outside of the Lexus dealership in KC, they were terrific to work with too). Joe was top-notch. He was knowledgeable, prompt, straight to the point, no BS, and went above and beyond for us. We worked everything out over the phone yesterday afternoon. By 3:30 pm, we were on our way to Wichita to pick up the car. Joe had the paperwork being processed and emailed us for digital signatures while we were on the road. As soon as we pulled up, Marcus greeted us promptly and enthusiastically. Come to find out, it was his day off, and he came in because they informed him that we were coming to get the car that night. I could go on and on about how great and effortless the process was. The car was ready, the paperwork we had to sign was ready, and we were in and out in probably 45min and back on the road. That’s how buying a car should be. No-haggle, no BS, and no taking advantage of the customer while keeping them in the dealership for 3-5 hours. Dealing with the finance side of buying a car is usually no fun. With that being said, I must give a huge shout-out to Max Romero. He was a pleasure to work with and knew that we were in a hurry, so he got us in and out while still being super friendly and helpful. He kept a conversation going with us while shuffling the papers quickly, talent right there. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership and will more than likely be a repeat customer.

Finance Manager Max and the finance director laughed for 10min making fun of the business my partner owns. They also changed my financer as I walked to the office, without telling me, talked over me the entire time, and obviously love to act and hear their own voices. Wish I would’ve been treated with more respect and not talked down to. Sales person Kireece was amazing tho, he really helped out like he said he would!

You will not believe the way this place is treating my daughter! More specifically the service department. If you buy a car from these people plan on taking it somewhere else to get serviced. Im contacting their corporate office today and if they cant help in contacting the news. *update* the contacting her that is mentioned by them below is asking her to ask me to take this review down. *Another update* they finally got it fixed but now the radio doesnt work and they didnt replace the engine mounts when they replaced the engine so now it vibrates and makes an awful noise.

I had scheduled an appt this mon,but due to a screw in my tire. Chuck wanted me to drop car off next day, said was extremely busy but will work on it. Went in to drop off,lady was super nice and helpful. Asked when i needed car back and they are fixing tire and doing my oil change so i dont have to come back! Thanks Chuck and blonde lady! #Brittany was her name super awesome girl.
I purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Midwest KIA and my sales person, Ashleigh, was so helpful through the entire process. She answered every question and made sure I got the best deal for my trade and new ride. She even had crayons and a coloring book to keep my toddler busy while we were at the dealership. Matt was great too, he explained everything and made sure the numbers were right. 10/10 will always recommend Ashleigh at Midwest KIA to everyone I know.

A salesperson attended me led me directly to Max(the person I was there to see) without trying to talk me into buying a car through him-which I have encountered at other car dealerships. Max Romero was very informative and helpful, his sense of humor was a bonus. The financing guys had me in and out as fast as they could. I was given multiple different quotes for a service job,shame on me for not shopping around for a better price. I confronted the service department that after multiple mechanic friends all telling me the price was too high, and that I was unhappy. I still paid what I owed (the work was already done at that point) I began to leave a google review and left a 1 star. Someone from their store notified the service department of the 1 star and when my wife went to go pick up our Sorento, CHUCK verbally talked down to, embarrassed and berated my wife in front of other employees. I personally went in as she came out, shaking and embarrassed and spoke with a service manager. he said he will “talk with Chuck” Not only is this absolutely horrible, but you don’t talk to a mans wife like that.Kia has lost our business for life.Stay away from Midwest Kia
I had a superb service experience with Midwest Kia with my newly purchased Sorento. New seats were installed with a heated drivers seat and a windshield replacement. My wife is in heaven as she drives early to her school teaching job daily. We will highly recommend Midwest Kia.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. They actually listened to what I was needing and stayed in those peramiters. Great experience and great prices. Explained everything clearly. Which helped a lot.
Friendly staff. Service took twice as long as I was told at check in. Was there 4.5hours to make a deal. Good with trade in and financing to make the sale and happy customer!
Great experience! We had been looking at several different dealers/websites and this was by far the best. The finance manager John was super-informative and our salesman Diego was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was actually not even the potential buyer but seeing how my friend was treated and they tirelessly answered her questions I wish I was in the market for a new car, even though I just bought a new car 2 months ago. We drove 100 miles to get to this dealership and we would drive another 100 if we had to in order to get the exceptional service that they gave us. Ignore any ratings less than 5 stars-they are wrong!

Ill start off by saying, I have always hated car shopping, but our sales person, Ashleigh, made the experience better than any other! She listened to what we wanted and made sure we got exactly that. After the test drive, we wanted to take a few days to think about it and Ashleigh didnt hound me with texts asking if we had made a choice. We will definitely be coming to Ashleigh for any future vehicles. Our finance manager, Matt, was very knowledgeable and made sure we got the best deal on our loan. Lastly, Steven Berney made us feel comfortable and welcome. He also emphasized doing what was right for us and made sure we didnt feel pressured into buying the car. Would definitely recommend Midwest Kia!!

I needed a car and was very doubtful I would be able to get one due to my income and credit as I was on a fixed income. Emailed from their web site to contact me only when they get the new 2021 Kia Sorento in. Yet I get several calls immediately. 2 of which they hang up when I answered. I addressed this with GM. Then I get calls from another sales person wanting me to come in a look at the 2020 models and they have great deals on them. I had to explain to her that I am not interested in that year. She pressured and pressured. I said I will pass and only contact me when you get the 2021 model in. Received another call early Nov 2020 telling me they had the new 2021s in and to come in and look. I stopped by the following Saturday and was told they dont have them in yet. The lack of listening or reading customers requests and attempting to bait and switch then lie about having models in when they dont is pathetic! Will happily drive to another city to purchase a KIA than deal with this nonsense.
Bought my first first car here and found everything I was looking for within my price range! Ashleigh was the best, ask for her when you go! She was so helpful and made the experience enjoyable instead of stressful. Love my new Kia Sportage :)

I called in to get some prices on some parts that are needed.... I would recommend not doing so with this company!!! The gentleman I was speaking with asked me a question and then i answered and he hung up the phone on me.. so I called back to try again as i cant find this part any where. and He threw me on hold and been holding for 15 min....
The waiting times were absolutely horrible and unnecessary. Many many hours wasted and still walked out without a vehicle.
Just disappointed with service. Takes way to long for oil change and tire rotation. Like expect to be there atleast 1.5hrs to 2 hrs everytime. I dont like salesman approaching me during an oil change its rude Im obviously not there for a new car. Plus they ask what you drive and act like its a pos and you need an upgrade um you just sold me this car ? Just saying
The best car buying experience ever not to mention the sales people are all very cool and it’s an easy going atmosphere. No pressure at all. I was in and out in under three hours. My daughter will be purchasing her new Kia there soon as well.

What a wonderful salesman, Adam, is. One of the few. He truly cared about helping me out.Sadly, the information given to me by Sylvia regarding there rebates was INCORRECT. This was a water of my time.The finance guy was just as expected!🙄--Two more months I shall be in a new car, but from else where.
